Always a fun time camping at Morgan-Monroe. There aren't any downsides, only upsides as far as I'm concerned. Hope to bring bikes next time and see how those trails go.I noticed the spot we were all at didn't have much dead fall to use. As its getting colder bringing extra wood or bying extra from the office ($5 for a nice cartfull of logs is super cheap). I usually baton the logs down a little before setting a fire. Always looking forward to returning again soon! 😎 - Michael McClure

The environment surrounding Scout Ridge Youth Campground is undoubtedly its primary draw. Being located within Morgan-Monroe State Forest, campers are enveloped in "lots of natural beauty with so very many trees and different types of plants." This vast forest is known for its rugged terrain, diverse ecosystems, and scenic vistas, offering a true escape into nature.
