Based on recent customer feedback, the environment at Seven Sisters Campground offers a mix of experiences. One reviewer highlighted that some campsites are quite close together, which might impact the sense of privacy and tranquility for some campers. This particular camper also noted an issue with a neighbor's diesel truck exhaust in the early morning. Additionally, they mentioned that their assigned site (site 14) lacked shade and was not adequately sized for both their tent and minivan, although they did observe larger sites available towards the front of the campground. It's advisable for prospective campers to inquire about the specific dimensions and shade availability of their chosen site when making a reservation.
Despite the concerns about site proximity and size, the reviewer also expressed a love for the surrounding area, enjoying kayaking and visiting local restaurants and state parks. This indicates that Seven Sisters Campground benefits from its location in the Homosassa region, which is known for its natural beauty and access to outdoor activities. The proximity to the Homosassa River offers opportunities for kayaking, boating, and fishing, while nearby state parks likely provide additional avenues for hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the unique Florida landscape.
Another significant aspect of Seven Sisters Campground, positively reviewed, is the cleanliness of the restroom and shower house. This is a crucial factor for many campers, and the feedback suggests that the facilities are well-maintained. Furthermore, the campground was noted to be very quiet at night, which is a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful camping experience and restful sleep.
In contrast to the tent camping experience, another reviewer had a highly positive experience staying in the studio and one-bedroom cabins at Seven Sisters Campground. They described the atmosphere as "wonderfully relaxing" and praised the cabins for being "fully equipped with everything you need to make great meals." The one-bedroom cabins were specifically highlighted for their comfort and the inclusion of a full refrigerator and stove/oven combo, allowing guests to prepare gourmet meals. The level of detail in the cabin amenities is impressive, with the reviewer mentioning the provision of items ranging from a Keurig and a French press to measuring cups and spoons. This suggests that the cabins offer a home-away-from-home experience with a focus on convenience and comfort.
A standout feature of Seven Sisters Campground, according to the positive review, is the exceptional staff. The reviewer used superlatives such as "beyond compare," "helpful," "kind," and "friendly" to describe the staff's service. Seven Sisters Campground Reviews
The sites are very close together. My neighbors diesel truck exhaust was running every morning literally 6 feet from my open window at 7AM.My site 14 had absolutely no shade and wasn't even big enough to set my tent up or have a fire along with my mini van. They do have some bigger sites up front. I absolutely loved the area and had fun kayaking and visiting the local restaurants and state parks. The restroom shower house was always very clean and the campground was very quiet at night.
Mar 15, 2025 · Vickie EdwardsThis is the most wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The studio cabins are fully equipped with everything you need to make great meals and the one bedroom cabins are wonderfully comfortable with a full refrigerator and stove/ oven combo that you could make a gourmet meal in. They provide everything a person might need from a keurig and a French press to measuring cups and spoons! All of the staff are beyond compare! I can't express how helpful, kind and friendly they are! I've honestly become addicted to the peace and relaxation as well as fun that I have coming up here!
Apr 14, 2025 · Harriet RohlOur Family of 6 (4 kids) reserved a campsite for Easter weekend with the hope of enjoying a peaceful and natural camping experience. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We expected to be among other tent campers, but instead, we were placed between two RVs—with our tent site located in an area that smelled like a septic tank. The odor was overwhelming and made it difficult to enjoy our time outdoors. On top of that, the campsite was infested with fleas, which made the situation even worse. This was not the camping experience we were promised or looking forward to. We won’t be returning, and we hope future guests are given a clearer picture of what to expect. A more accurate description and better maintenance would go a long way in improving guest satisfaction.
Apr 21, 2025 · CEZS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our stay at Seven Sisters Campground was absolutely fantastic! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. We were thrilled to see manatees up close, a truly magical experience. The kayak rental service was easy to use, affordable, and the equipment was in great condition. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Highly recommend this campground for a memorable outdoor adventure!
Feb 22, 2025 · Kyle BringhurstCute cozy campground! Clean, level sites and clean bathrooms/shower. Half of the sites are waterfront. Can rent kayaks or bring your own. Great location. Dog friendly. Friendly staff! We will definitely be back!
