Chassahowitzka River Campground Reviews
We stayed this weekend, the home and rooms and the Chaz Suites are beautiful. The people were so kind. There a little lodge/bar down the road if that's ur thing. The spring we made it too was a blast and so gorgeous. We'll definitely be visiting again
Apr 20, 2025 · Tina StaffordWe went to the Chaz for kayaking and as usual it was wonderful. The staff is so nice and helpful. The ticket booth is now up by the campground office so that threw us off for a few minutes. The original office/store was damaged by the hurricanes. But didn't ruin the day by any means. Love this place!
Apr 28, 2025 · Melinda SearsLoved our stay. Quiet camping. Well shaded with trees. Some sites are a bit tight, but not that bad. Have seen worse. The roads inside campground could use some work. Few potholes. There had been lot of rain maybe it’s in their plan to fix them.Staff was very friendly and great! Kayak rental was easy. Very helpful in launching and returning. We had a great time! Will be back.
Mar 13, 2025 · B NGreat to get away from super tourist of Crystal river for manatees and kayaking. Closes at 430 on weekdays unfortunately but we drove up and they were available. Would've enjoyed more evening time on the water. We ended up seeing and snorkeling with the manatees.
