Shores of Asbury RV Resort Reviews
We were all sick and needed to stop one night to rest. Karen was so accommodating and welcoming. She made the process so smooth, gave very clear instructions and helped us back into our site. We came in quite late, after hours, and she made us feel like family. Even offering to hold the flashlight while we set up. Her and the other staff's hospitality is wonderful, absolute top notch. The site was very clean and easy to use and navigate. The views were beautiful. If you need a place to stay, even longer than one night, this is definitely the place to be.
Apr 17, 2025 · Alex LunaMy Favorite Park. Certainly a boutique camping spot. Mexican (plus all food) place to eat onsite, trails, lake, playground and a kid friendly aquatic course. Love the ladies that run it and tons of good fishing.
Jan 12, 2025 · Brandy ReynoldsGreat concept, but it's definitely not an RV resort. Huge gravel parking lot on top of a hill with literally no shade at all. Golf cart rentals were pretty pricey, especially since you have to turn them in from 10 pm to 10 am. The staff was very friendly. Bathhouse was not cool at all. You would be covered in sweat before you could dry off after a shower. The restaurant was awesome - very diverse menu and food was good. Jalapeno Margaritas were great. Definitely needs a sunscreen on the lake end of the patio so the entire lake end of the dining area can be utilized in the afternoon sun.The kids loved the Waterpark and the little train that took them around in the evenings. The playground had a broken teeter totter airplane with jagged metal, and the zip line was so low to the ground that it could take you out in the dark.Again, it's a great concept, but we won't be back. Way to hot on that hill.
Jul 17, 2024 · Gerry PierceThis was a great campground! The ladies are all so nice and always making sure the campground is safe! We had great weather! The lake is so beautiful and the kids loved playing in it. They have RV sites and tent sites with free WiFi. They have bathrooms and one set of a washer and dryer. They also have an arcade and a really cool water park! They also have a amazing restaurant on the site that was so good and so convenient! We really enjoyed our time!
May 06, 2024 · Ashley BalkeNice new place. Inflatable raft course is great, prices are a bit high though. One hour was $22. Guess I could of Paid $17 online but I didn't have phone. The food was good, menu was really big, but they got my order wrong. They are strict with life vests, as I got questioned twice like I was going to steal the Xtra small vest. The owner Karen, I must say was very rude and condensending. She "asked" me to put vest back, but my arms were full. She had to add sarcastically "they had 50 taken last year.", she also told me I was wrong about it being $22 for 1 hour, though I was right.I take my reviews seriously and always take safe legal pics. I took drone picture from the water. Which is legal as this is class G air space, See picture of Air Space, But Karen and her co-worker talked down to me and told me I was wrong and to leave. Also they said I was breaking the law. Which they both clearly didn’t understand. I was really shocked as I get along with all. But really?! The owner who said she wasn't going to help me be cause "I was going to smash her on google " She didn't help the review at all. As I had it at a 4. I was shocked as I have had 3 million views of pics and owners usually thank me profusely. Though not this owner. Stayed at RV Park twice previously, which is new as well. Has all the hookups, but little shade or privacy. Though I won't be coming again.
