Anderson / Lake Hartwell KOA Holiday Reviews
This is the third year in a row we've been here and it's always been a fun and relaxing vacation trip. This year we had the haunted house again like last year and it was great. Even our ragdoll cat loved it.We had a lovely fire and played a lot of mini golf and everyone had a great time. The people who manage the place were very nice and chill and we had great service. We shall be back, hopefully next year again.
Nov 24, 2024 · Ray RampersadWe travel around the U.S., Mexico and Canada with our 5 dogs. We usually seek out KOAs because we feel welcome with that many dogs and there usually aren’t any ridiculous limits on how many dogs you can have. We felt welcome at this campground. The after hours available sites were easily identified with individual maps left for each available site to be chosen. Really easy and appreciated. Nice grounds to walk around and a nice fenced in doggie play area too.
Jan 07, 2025 · Albert MiliteWe’ve stayed here several times over the past 25 years. We’ve outgrown the campground - the roads/infrastructure are not big rig friendly. Many of the amenities need to be replaced/renovated. Service with a smile when you sign in. Lots of shade. Very cramped.
Mar 31, 2025 · Don NesbittNice location but the actual KOA campground itself it's a little ragged. No grassy areas. Everything is cramped up. If you have visitors while you're in town they have to stop at the office even in the rain to check in. Because you can't have more than one visitor. What in the world?I personally thought that was over the top.
Dec 18, 2024 · Vicki PhillipsThis KOA is wonderful. Second time we have been. We have stayed at KOA's all over the US and we would definitely stay here again and again. There are plenty of things to keep the kids happy, my niece loved it here. The only reason I gave it three stars is because the cabin we stayed in, the "haunted" cabin, does not have an a/c unit in the loft area, just a large fan, so as cool as it was downstairs with the a/c, my mother and niece were very uncomfortable sleeping upstairs. Hot air rises, this we know. The downstairs a/c does not cool off the loft. Other than that, we loved it! The cabin is decorated so cute and added to the "haunted" tale, the campground is clean and we loved the staff. Can't wait to go back in the fall!!!
