Smith and Morehouse Campground Reviews
My sister and I share a Birthday so we wanted to go to the perfect campground with our whole family. The camp hosts Deb, Dale and Jona were so nice and accommodating. The camp ground was clean, bathrooms were great. Deb and Dale invited our kids to come see the fairy campground and it was magical. If you are looking for a good time and want amazing hosts this is the camp ground for you.
Aug 31, 2024 · Jamie MorganFor 25+ plus years we have enjoyed our experiences and Smith & Morehouse in the fall. Deb and Dell are amazing camp host. We wish all campgrounds had host like them. They're kind and helpful.
Sep 19, 2024 · Kevin HoenshellWonderful camp ground and plenty of parking and access to the reservoir. Could use a few more spaced out restrooms, but there are several within decent access. The camp hosts ARE ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!! So friendly, so willing to help. They even try to loan out thing that you might have forgotten. They go around a couple of times a day at least to see if anyone needs anything. Super friendly!!! So much so, that campers were going to the host campsite to share with them portions of their meals. They also have a "Fairy Garden". A rock path with glow in the dark rocks for the kids, and more. It is truly a 'Fairy Garden' and magical for the kids.
Aug 02, 2024 · Kevin HehlWe arrived on a Sunday late afternoon needing a place to spend the night after a long day on the motorcycles. Del jumped right in to help us find a camp spot that wasn’t reserved for the night. Deb & Del were great host. The location is very remote and beautiful with an amazing lake just a 1/4 mile up the road. I would for sure stay there again if in the area.
Jun 17, 2024 · Marcus WhiteI just can’t say enough about this fabulous campground in the great outdoors at Smith and Morehouse Reservoir. Not only is it well kept and beautiful, but camp hosts just don’t get any better!!! Del, Deb, and Jona are the most down to earth, fun, friendly, hardworking, and helpful hosts that you could ever hope for! They aided in making our camping experience perfect! Our grandkids can’t wait to go up and see your fairy garden again. They don’t stop talking about it.It just wouldn’t be the same without you there!!!Thanks you guys!!!!!! We love you! You’re the BEST!
