Earlier this year I was scouting out a place for my family to go camping. I found Sun Lakes. I got my family together on the Idea to book for the 4th of July! We snagged up some excellent full hookup spots with plenty of space, lots of shade. Close proximity to restrooms if for some reason our rv restroom was occupied, close to walking trails a short walk or drive down to the lake for those with a disability that cant walk. The beach had plenty picnic tables and places around to pop a squat, the swimming area was roped off so that was nice, you even have access to some of the fancy amenities over at the resort about a half mile up the lake. During our stay there was a brief power outage ( something i found out that happens from time to time) luckily you got the lake to cool you down and plenty of trees so provide shade, there is also lots of grassy areas, i only found one dog poop bag station but that’s ok because good dog owners always have plenty on hand. Saw some wild life, and we are already discussing our plans to return again and again! Oh did i forget to mention i have camped for almost 38 yrs and this was one of the cleanest and quietest camp grounds. Everyone was friendly and enjoying themselves. Super relaxing. - Stephanie Gottlob
