You can reach them at (717) 872-4651 or +1 717-872-4651 for reservations and inquiries. This campground appears to be a popular destination, as indicated by multiple positive reviews from regular campers, and offers a variety of camping options and recreational facilities for individuals and families alike.
The environment at Thousand Trails Circle M is described as generally well-kept, although one reviewer noted that the roads could use some maintenance. The campground boasts a significant number of waterfront sites along the river, providing a scenic backdrop for campers. Many reviewers appreciate the opportunity to observe local wildlife such as birds, fish, and turtles directly from their campsite. The campground is divided into different sections, each with its own characteristics. Some areas feature nicely paved roads and clean sites with good pads, often occupied by more permanent residents. Other sections have a lollipop shape layout or straight roads with sites on either side, offering fairly open and sometimes shaded spots. The lower sections along the river offer tighter sites, some horizontal and some vertical to the river and road, with varying sizes and suitability for different RV lengths (with a 30-foot limit in one particular area due to a small turnaround). For those seeking a quieter and more secluded experience, the Iroquois section offers around 20 sites with just electric and water hookups and a porta-potty.
Thousand Trails Circle M offers a diverse range of services and amenities to enhance the camping experience. For recreation, they feature both a large indoor pool (heated, though some wish the water was warmer) and an outdoor pool, as well as a hot tub available from April or May. There's a covered mini-golf course for all-weather fun, basketball and tennis courts for sports enthusiasts, and a nice playground for children. A camp store is on-site for essentials and perhaps some treats. Additionally, there's a community room where guests can relax, socialize, and watch movies. For convenience and security, the campground has gates at the entrance with controlled access requiring a key card. While the lower section along the river only offers electric and water hookups, other sites likely offer a more comprehensive range of services for RVs. Laundry facilities are typically expected at a campground of this size, although not explicitly mentioned in the reviews.
The features of Thousand Trails Circle M are a major highlight, particularly for families and those looking for an active camping experience. The availability of both indoor and outdoor pools extends the swimming season and provides options regardless of the weather. The hot tub offers a relaxing amenity. The covered mini-golf ensures that this activity can be enjoyed even during rain. The basketball and tennis courts cater to sports enthusiasts, while the playground provides a dedicated space for children. The weekend special activities are a significant draw, with holiday-themed events, rock painting, pretzel-themed activities, and movie nights being just some examples. The presence of several different local food trucks on weekends adds a unique culinary dimension to the camping experience, offering a break from cooking and a taste of local flavors. The campground also provides different types of camping environments, from more open and social areas to quieter and more secluded riverside spots.
Considering the "camping near me" platform, which often includes services and goods for sale, Thousand Trails Circle M offers a camp store where campers can likely purchase essential items. The weekend food trucks also represent a form of on-site goods and services available for purchase. For more extensive shopping needs, the campground's location in Lancaster provides easy access to local grocery stores, camping supply retailers, and other services in the surrounding area. This blend of on-site conveniences and proximity to local businesses ensures that campers have access to the resources they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Promotional information for Thousand Trails Circle M is not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. To learn about current specials, discounts, or seasonal offers, it is recommended to visit the official Thousand Trails website or contact the campground directly at the provided phone numbers. Many campgrounds offer incentives for longer stays, early bookings, or for members of camping clubs. Checking their social media channels or local tourism websites might also provide information on special events or promotions happening at the campground. Given that one reviewer has been tenting there for three seasons, it suggests a level of satisfaction and potentially recurring promotions that encourage repeat visits.
While the majority of the information paints a positive picture, one reviewer did highlight a significant drawback: the condition of the bathhouse. They described it as being in poor condition, with loud vent fans, no lights over the showers, and an overall run-down appearance. This is an important consideration for campers who rely on these facilities. The limited number of bathhouses was also noted as a potential issue. Additionally, the Iroquois section only having a porta-potty might be a limitation for some campers. However, the reviewer also pointed out that if you are camping in an RV and primarily use your own bathroom, you would likely enjoy the park and its offerings. This suggests that the appeal of Thousand Trails Circle M might vary depending on the camper's accommodation type and reliance on communal facilities.
In conclusion, Thousand Trails Circle M in Lancaster, PA, offers a diverse camping experience with a wide range of amenities and activities, making it an attractive "camping near me" option for local residents. With indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, mini-golf, sports courts, weekend events, and even food trucks, there's plenty to keep campers entertained. The availability of waterfront sites adds to the appeal for nature lovers. However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported condition and limited number of bathhouses, as well as the varying hookup options and site layouts in different sections of the campground. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on services, features, and any ongoing promotions, contacting Thousand Trails Circle M directly is recommended.

Thousand Trails Circle M Reviews
I am tenting here currently and have been for the passed three camping seasons. Circle M is by far one of my favorite campgrounds from this area. You've got the amenities of the hot tub and pool during April into may, and when memorial day hits in may the outdoor pool becomes available. Then, the real fun begins. 😁
Apr 13, 2025 · Dennis Eager (Luc)We love camping here. They have a large indoor pool thats great especially when it's raining outside, although wish the water was warmer. The building is WELL heated, there are lounge chairs around pool, could use a few more though. Most of the sites are nice although some are REALLY close together especially the one area along the river. There are a lot of sites along the water, so it's nice to sit at the table in the rv and watch the birds, fish, turtles, and other wildlife. They have gates at entrance so people can't just drive in (need a new access card to open gate) There is a nice playground, mini golf that's got a full roof over it, basketball & tennis courts, indoor & outdoor pools, camp store, community room that you can use to hang out, watch movies, etc. They have special activities each weekend, such as an holiday themed events, rock painting, pretzel theme activities, movies, etc. and they have several different local food trucks that come on the weekends. The place overall is pretty well kept except the roads could certainly use a "little" bit of maintenance. There are not a lot of bath houses, which is the only negative that I would say, there is only one that I know of & it REALLY needs to be fixed up, it's in poor condition, loud vent fans, no lights over showers, not too clean, just overall run down looking. If you rely on using the bath house and restrooms during your stay, you may be disappointed in the one they have. The lower section of the park along the river just has electric & water hookups. The Iriquois section ( i section) with about 20 sites has just a single porta potty. This section is a lot quieter and kind of secluded from the rest of the park (we personally like this section). There are basically 4 different sections, 1 that is nicely paved roads, clean sites with nice pad (these are more permanent sites) then there is an area that has several roads with sites off them kind of in a lollipop shape with sites around the outside. As well as an area with strait roads with sites on each side. All the sites in these areas are fairly open with some sections under trees. The last 2 sections are down a hill along the water, the 1st section along the water are very tight sights, close together. some are horizontal along the river and on opposite side of the road. Then there are a bunch of vertical sites along the river which are back in only and the same on the opposite side of the road with some random sites in this area that can be horizontal to the river/road. Finally the last section along the river has both types of sites on each side of the road, some of these sites are a decent size (the largest allowable rv's in this section are 30 foot as there is only a small circle to turn around at the end) Overall if you're looking for a nice rv park and use your rv's bathroom you will enjoy the park and what they offer.
Apr 27, 2025 · Mike BlackmonGreeted by a welcoming staff. Park is nice. A ranger is always visible driving around the park. Some RV spots are not specifically outlined to ensure you are parked correctly, more like parking on the grass in different directions. Not a big deal but leveling is needed. There is a river around the park so bring your floats. There is an activity calendar with entertainment for all ages. I only stayed a week but will definitely visit again. 😊🚌
Aug 12, 2024 · RV AdventurerGreat campgrounds, nice pools one indoor and one out. Plus have basketball court, pickleball, and a nice covered miniature golf and also they have an arcade.
Apr 07, 2025 · Gary HassanThis was our first thousand trails destination after purchasing our membership and it was really amazing. We appreciated our stay even more after visiting a couple other thousand trails parks because Circle M isn't just a basic campground its a true RV resort with gated access and is clean. We loved tubing and paddleboarding in the river, collecting shells on the shore and enjoyed the spa and indoor and outdoor pools!Lots of families and great staff! We stayed down by the river for the first part of our visit and did see someone who chose a site, because they do allow you to choose your own site, under a tree sustain some serious damage to their camper during a storm from a treefall but when the weather got bad and the river was at risk of flooding the staff quickly moved us to higher ground to a safer campsite. Tons of great stuff to do in Lancaster. We had a great time.
