Tonasket Chamber of Commerce RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "camping near me" in the vicinity of Tonasket, Washington, the Tonasket Chamber of Commerce RV Park, located at the somewhat unusual address of 3727160250, Tonasket, WA 98855, USA, presents a practical and budget-friendly option, particularly for those seeking a convenient overnight stay or a brief stopover. While the provided reviews offer insights into its functionality and accessibility, it's important to note that information regarding the broader environment and extensive services is limited, suggesting a focus on basic, essential amenities for travelers.
One of the primary features highlighted by customer reviews is the park's suitability for a "quick overnight" stay, especially for those en route to Canada. This suggests that its location and ease of access make it a convenient stopping point for travelers passing through the area. The availability of "full hookups" for a reasonable price of $30 is a significant advantage for RVers, providing access to electricity, water, and sewer connections without the need to seek out separate facilities. This affordability, combined with the full hookup convenience, makes it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers.
Ease of access is another recurring positive point in the reviews. The park is described as easily accessible, which is crucial for RVs of various sizes. This likely means that the roadways within the park and the entrance/exit are designed to accommodate larger vehicles without significant difficulty. This feature contributes to a stress-free arrival and departure, especially for those on a tight travel schedule.
For those not planning an overnight stay but still needing essential RV services, the Tonasket Chamber of Commerce RV Park offers a dump station and water availability for a small fee. This is a valuable service for travelers who may be passing through and require these facilities to maintain their RVs. The provision of these services, even for non-overnight guests, underscores the park's role as a helpful resource for the traveling community.
One reviewer noted the proximity of the RV park to the town of Tonasket, mentioning an "easy walk to town" and a restaurant located across the street. This suggests that while the park itself might offer basic amenities, its location provides convenient access to local businesses and dining options. This can be a significant benefit for travelers who appreciate the ability to stretch their legs, explore a local town, or grab a meal without having to drive long distances.
The presence of a "porta potty on site" was mentioned in one review. While this indicates the availability of a restroom facility, it's important to note that it is a portable toilet, which might not be the preferred option for all campers, especially for longer stays. This suggests that permanent restroom facilities might be limited or non-existent at this location.
A specific issue raised in one review was that "the water was locked," preventing the reviewer from utilizing the water hookup despite having electric and sewer. This is a crucial piece of information for potential visitors. It suggests that the availability of water hookups might be inconsistent or subject to specific conditions (perhaps seasonal or requiring a specific request). It would be prudent for potential visitors to inquire about the availability of water at the time of booking or arrival.
Adding a local flavor to the experience, one reviewer enthusiastically recommended a coffee shop on the left side going into town that offers "delicious cinnamon rolls," stating they would stop again specifically for them. This highlights the potential for local culinary discoveries for those staying at the RV park and venturing into Tonasket.
Considering the limited information available, the Tonasket Chamber of Commerce RV Park appears to be a functional and conveniently located option primarily catering to short-term stays and travelers needing essential RV hookups and services. Its affordability and easy access are key strengths. However, potential visitors should be aware of the possible limitations regarding restroom facilities (porta potty) and the potential inconsistency of water availability. For local users seeking a no-frills, budget-friendly "camping near me" for an overnight stop or while passing through, this RV park offers a practical solution with the added benefit of proximity to the town of Tonasket.
Given the lack of information regarding extensive services, recreational features, or promotional offers, local users interested in a longer stay or more comprehensive amenities might need to explore other options within the "camping near me" category. However, for its specific purpose as a convenient and affordable overnight stop with full hookups and easy access, the Tonasket Chamber of Commerce RV Park appears to be a suitable choice. It is recommended to contact them directly at (509) 486-1090 or +1 509-486-1090 to inquire about current conditions, water availability, and any specific policies or fees.

Tonasket Chamber of Commerce RV Park Reviews
Perfect for a quick overnight on the way to Canada. Full hookups for $30. Easy access. Dump station and water available for small fee if not spending the night.
Apr 12, 2022 · Denise FisherNice park for a stop over, easy walk to town and restaurant across the street, porta potty on site. My only issue was that the water was locked, so we could only use electric and sewer. There is a coffee shop on the left side going into town that has delicious cinnamon rolls! I'd stop again, esp for the rolls!
Jul 13, 2023 · Tom CrombieThis place is in pretty good shape, but appears to be going through some sort of transition. No management was here when we arrived. We just picked a site and set up. Talked with someone who was already here and they hadn’t seen a manger either. I’ll pay my net balance at the end. I fear for this park as it won’t take long for squatters to find it.
Jul 29, 2023 · Gregg ThompsonThis is a well run, small campsite on the edge of Tonasket. There are only 7 RV campsites around 25 bucks a night with weekly and monthly rates, with a few extra tent sites. We arrived late, as usual, in our 32' motorhome towing the Harley on a trailer, it was about 10:30 pm. The campsite manager Steve waited for us and his service was nothing less than stellar. Steve helped us as we unloaded the bike and guided us as we backed in. We had some kind of electrical challenge with our plug in and he assisted us until we got it repaired, even going to his home and back to retrieve a volt meter for us. We finally got settled in at about 11:30 pm and Steve said goodnight. Make sure you call ahead for reservations, they bookup quick in the summer months due to the fire fighters using the campgrounds during the fire season. There is a good grocery store across the street and a small farmers market every Thursdays. Save your appetite for the fresh tamales that they offer at the farmers market. Yummy. They also have fresh veg, honey, latino drinks and small batch preserves. We stay at this campsite everytime we go to Tonasket cause we have friends nearby and we like to ride in the mountains, no traffic, and visit the Cheesaw Tavern for a couple drinks and a nosh. Tonasket is a small town and everything closes down early. You may get lucky one day and see Jack Black walking around his home town :)We love us some Jack Black! Aka, Nacho Libre.
Aug 20, 2020 · Dora DukeGreat location and very handy to groceries and Mexican Restaurant. Maybe need to add more RV sites where the tenting is. Very friendly and helpful park manager. Will recommend this park and will definitely be back.
