Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales Introduce
Looking for an exciting "camping near me" experience in the Franklinville, New York area? Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales, located at 3491 Bryant Hill Rd, Franklinville, NY 14737, USA, offers a family-oriented park with a range of activities and amenities. You can reach them by phone at (716) 676-3856 or mobile at +1 716-676-3856. Based on customer reviews, this resort provides a fun-filled environment for families, excellent service, and beautiful natural surroundings, though some aspects of the water park and other amenities have received mixed feedback.
The "environment" of Triple R Camping Resort appears to be family-friendly and engaging, with "so much for kids to do," as noted by one reviewer. The presence of a creek-side location (mentioned in the context of a cabin stay) suggests natural beauty is part of the appeal. Furthermore, on a clear night, guests can experience exceptional stargazing, with one reviewer stating, "you will never see more stars." This highlights a serene and natural aspect of the location away from city lights. The resort seems spacious enough to offer a "super chill atmosphere" alongside its activity offerings. While specific details about the landscape (e.g., wooded, open fields) are not extensively described, the combination of a creek, open skies for stargazing, and the layout of the park contribute to its overall environment.
In terms of "services," Triple R Camping Resort stands out for its helpful staff. One reviewer recounted a personal experience where the owner, John, went above and beyond to assist with a trailer tire issue, quickly identifying and resolving it, even changing a second tire. This level of helpfulness indicates a strong commitment to customer service. The resort also offers a "water park pool combo," which is likened to being at a resort, suggesting a significant recreational service. While not explicitly stated, one can infer standard campground services like campsite hookups (though the type isn't detailed) and potentially bathhouse facilities. The mention of golf cart rentals, albeit with specific overnight hours, is another service provided.
The "features" of Triple R Camping Resort are geared towards entertainment and relaxation for all ages. A major highlight is the "water park pool combo," which seems to be a significant draw, especially for families with kids. There are also "plenty of adult games and activities," ensuring that adults have options for recreation as well. The opportunity for exceptional stargazing on clear nights is a unique natural feature. For accommodation, the resort offers creek-side cabins, which one reviewer "absolutely loved," suggesting a comfortable and scenic lodging option beyond traditional campsites. While the availability of trailer sales is mentioned in the name, the focus of the reviews is on the camping resort aspects.
The customer reviews provide both strong "promotional information" and areas where potential visitors might have concerns. The positive aspects include the "wonderful family park" atmosphere with lots for kids, the "super chill atmosphere," the incredibly helpful staff (specifically mentioning the owner, John), the "absolute riot" that kids had with the water park pool combo, the availability of adult games and activities, and the breathtaking stargazing. One reviewer highly recommends Triple R for any camper, from beginners to experienced. These points strongly promote the resort as a family-friendly and enjoyable destination.
However, one detailed review raises some concerns regarding the water park's height restrictions for slides, the limited hours of the splash pad (12-4 PM), the pool temperature being too warm, and a mention of the owner's professionalism during announcements. The overnight-only golf cart rental was also noted as odd. Despite these criticisms, the reviewer still found the place to be "ran pretty well," enjoyed a beautiful hike, and loved their creek-side cabin, ultimately enjoying their stay. This suggests that while there are areas for potential improvement, the overall experience can still be positive.
For local users searching for "camping near me," Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales offers a vibrant family-oriented experience with a notable water park/pool area and a reputation for helpful staff. The beautiful stargazing and potential for creek-side cabin stays add to its appeal. However, families with younger children or those particularly interested in the splash pad should note its limited operating hours. Similarly, those keen on water slides might want to inquire about height restrictions. Despite these points, the resort seems to provide a fun and engaging environment for a wide range of campers.
To make the most informed decision, local users might want to contact Triple R Camping Resort directly to inquire about the specifics of the water park (slide restrictions, splash pad hours), the types of campsites and cabins available, and any other amenities that are important to their camping experience. The overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the family atmosphere, the water park fun, the helpful staff, and the stargazing suggests that Triple R could be a fantastic "camping near me" option, especially for families looking for a resort-style experience with plenty of activities.
In conclusion, Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales in Franklinville, NY, offers a wonderful family park with a lot for kids, including a water park/pool combo that feels like a resort. The staff are known for being incredibly helpful, and the stargazing on clear nights is exceptional. While one review pointed out some areas for potential improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many recommending it for campers of all levels. For local users seeking a fun and activity-filled "camping near me" destination, Triple R is definitely worth considering. Contacting them directly can provide more specific details to ensure it meets your family's needs and expectations.

Triple R Camping Resort and Trailer Sales Reviews
Wonderful family park. So much for kids to do. Super chill atmosphere. Staff at the park were incredibly helpful. I blew a tire on my trailer on the way into the park. Owner John could not have been quicker to Identify the issue and resolve it. He came up to my site and changed the tire, noticed a 2nd tire that looked like it needed to be replaced. I was able to purchase a new one in town and again John changed the tire for me.My kids had an absolute riot. The water park pool combo is like your at a resort. Plenty of adult games and activities as well.On a clear night you will never see more stars.Highly recommend Triple R campground for any camper, 1st timers to experienced.
Aug 10, 2024 · Aaron MotchkaWe enjoyed our time here but agree with a previous review about the water slide height restriction. Weight is one thing but the fact that my 12 year old could go down the closed tunnel slide but couldn't go down the open slides that were bigger made absolutely no sense. We were also really disappointed with the splash pad hours. 12-4 gave us hardly anytime in there, especially when most young kids have nap time in the middle of that. Check in was 3–so by the time we unpacked we couldn't use it the first day, and checkout was 11, so we couldn't use it the last day either. Basically if you're coming for this, you get 4 hours (that's if you're lucky and your kids don't need breaks or naps or snacks). I would rather pay more for my stay and have that be open longer. It was the main reason we booked. I also found the pool temp to be way too warm considering it was 85 out. It wasn't refreshing at all which is another reason we would have rather been in the splash area. The owner made announcements a couple times and definitely could work on his professionalism. We also found the golf cart rentals odd and wish the rentals were during the day, not overnight when you can't use it. That being said– I do think this place is ran pretty well. We took a great hike that was beautiful. We also absolutely loved our creek side cabin and ultimately enjoyed our stay despite some disappoints– I just think some things could be revamped for an even better experience for everyone.

Sep 12, 2024 · Eric KubiakThis was a clean campground . We had a large concrete pad and not too close together. We stayed 3 nights . #510 was a tier up from pool . Our neighbors were wonderful and helped us as newbies. I would book again but for us as seniors maybe not on Sat night. They had a loud live band that most families would love but a bit much for us although 10 pm quiet was enforced. kids activities were plenty and well organized. There was a fishing pond. Camp owner was very helpful. Close to Ellicotesville. Very cute town.
Aug 02, 2024 · Chef JoBeautiful campground that is nicely maintained and landscaped! We however will not go again simply because all of the awesome water slides have a height limit of 54in. They are for 13y.o. and under with a weight limit of 125lbs, which I knew prior. I have a 12y.o. who is 120 he's just tall! When we got to the water slides however we saw the height limit and the whole trip really was ruined. My 12 y.o. didn't want to do anything because the only other water option was an overcrowded pool! My 7 y.o. would not go on the slides without his brother!
