West-Two Rivers Campground Reviews
Our new go-to campground when visiting friends in Virginia, Mn. The Campground Host and Hostess were phenomenal. Swimming beach, pier, watercraft dock, showers, picnic area, and more.
Aug 03, 2024 · Hermit WigglytoesExcellent place for kayaking of any level, the water is not clear at all, but very easy to manage a kayak on. The boat landing is spacious enough for 3 vehicles to unload whatever watercraft they have! Lots of areas to explore, many different bends and hidden gems, beautiful views!! Will be back again!!
Jun 14, 2022 · Heather MarieAmazing centrally located Campground with electric hookups on the lake/rivers with super nice folks at the Managers office! The kids loved the playground, fishing docks, and trails by the river :)
Aug 02, 2023 · TJ LimitlessNice small beach. The kids complained of "seaweed grabbing them" but once in the water and TV hey started playing the deadly seaweed was forgotten. Looks like a nice campground as well. Very pleasant place to visit.
Sep 06, 2019 · Laurie FrankoNever camped here, but a frequent fisher of this lake and familiar with the campground and facilities. This is first and foremost a pike lake. No walleye, crappie and sunny are present as well as some bass. You can catch LEGIT 30+" pike from the fishing or boat dock. Boating is challenging. There are unmarked logs and shoals. Boat with caution. Lake has an almost wilderness feel being mostly undeveloped. Best visited in spring or fall. Fishing is hot for large crappie and pike shallow early and in the deeper areas towards fall. Campground is wooded, sites private and relatively spacious. The entire region gets buggy by late may into June. Lake gets weedy and a bit gross by mid summer, then cleans up nicely into September.
