Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort Introduce
For local residents in and around Cameron, Wisconsin, seeking a "camping near me" experience with a unique twist, Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort, located at 1296 21 3/4 St, Cameron, WI 54822, presents an intriguing option. Reachable by phone at (715) 458-2032 or mobile phone +1 715-458-2032, this establishment combines the offerings of a campground with an on-site tavern and resort, potentially providing a lively and social camping atmosphere. While detailed information regarding the environment, specific services, and comprehensive features may be somewhat limited, the available customer reviews offer some insights into what local users might expect.
The location in Cameron, Wisconsin, suggests that Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort is situated within the natural landscape of northwestern Wisconsin. This area is characterized by a mix of woodlands, open fields, and lakes, offering a potentially scenic backdrop for a camping experience. Local users searching for "camping near me" might anticipate an environment that allows for outdoor relaxation and enjoyment of nature, although the presence of a tavern and resort element suggests a more developed setting compared to a purely wilderness campground.
The most distinctive feature of Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort is its combination of camping facilities with a tavern. This suggests that campers have convenient access to food, beverages, and potentially social entertainment right on the premises. For some local users, this could be a significant draw, offering a more social and less isolated camping experience. The tavern might serve as a gathering place for campers and locals alike, fostering a sense of community. However, it's important to consider that the presence of a tavern could also imply potential noise, as indicated by one of the customer reviews.
In terms of specific campground services and features, the limited information requires us to infer based on general expectations for a camping facility, combined with the resort aspect. Campers would likely expect designated campsites, which could vary in terms of size and amenities. These might range from basic tent sites to RV sites with potential hookups for electricity and water. The resort designation suggests the possibility of additional amenities beyond standard campgrounds, such as more developed restroom facilities with showers, picnic areas, or perhaps even recreational facilities. However, the availability of these features at Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort cannot be confirmed without further information.
The customer reviews provide contrasting perspectives. One reviewer, a veteran staying at a nearby campground, reported being disturbed by loud music emanating from Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort during dinner and campfire hours, specifically at 9 pm. This suggests that the establishment may host events with amplified music, which could be a potential noise concern for campers, especially those seeking a quiet and peaceful environment. Local users sensitive to noise should inquire about the tavern's operating hours and any scheduled events that might produce loud music, particularly during evening hours.
On the other hand, another reviewer described Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort as a "wonderful campground" and reported having a "wonderful time" and meeting "some really nice locals." This positive feedback suggests that many visitors have enjoyable experiences at the resort, potentially appreciating the social atmosphere and the opportunity to interact with local residents. This positive review highlights the potential for a friendly and welcoming environment for campers.
Considering these contrasting reviews, local users searching for "camping near me" at Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort should weigh the potential benefits of on-site entertainment and social interaction against the possibility of noise. The experience may vary depending on individual preferences and the specific events or activities taking place during a particular stay.
As there is no specific promotional information provided, we cannot detail any special offers or unique selling points intended to attract local campers. To gain a comprehensive understanding of what Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort offers, including pricing, availability, specific campsite amenities, tavern hours, and any scheduled events, local users are strongly encouraged to contact the provided phone numbers: (715) 458-2032 or +1 715-458-2032. In conclusion, Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort in Cameron, Wisconsin, offers a unique camping experience by combining a campground with an on-site tavern and resort. This setup may appeal to local users seeking "camping near me" with convenient access to social entertainment and amenities. However, potential noise from the tavern, particularly in the evenings, is a factor to consider. The positive review suggests a welcoming atmosphere, but prospective campers should contact the resort directly to gather detailed information about the environment, services, features, and any potential noise levels to ensure it aligns with their preferences for a local camping getaway.

Wolf's Den Tavern & Resort Reviews
As a veteran staying at the Barron county Veterans across the way campground, we were treated to the loud music during the dinner and campfire. Had I the equipment from my time in service, I wouldn't having this issue at 9 pm....
Aug 25, 2024 · Chris NoletWonderful campground. Had a wonderful time. Met some really nice locals
Oct 21, 2024 · Laura TallmanAlways have a blast when we are there. Had an amazing band (303) on Saturday. Myself & the lady had a great time. The dog always has fun too. He loves swimming & he could do it right off the back of camper off the dock. We will be back this summer for sure!!!
May 18, 2022 · Nicholas ThiryStopped in for drinks as we cruised the lake. Lots of options for everyone, including kids. The bartender/owner? Was wonderful during our short exchange.I hear they also have bingo here on Wednesdays, which sounds like a blast.I ordered a draft of spotted cow.Edit: Came back for BINGO and had a blast! Had bucket drinks, las Vegas shots, another spotted cow and walked away winners!
Jul 01, 2021 · Jennifer HoglundMy review is purely for the campground. If you'll notice, a lot of the 5 star reviews are for the bar/concert area. I've been to this campsite twice, and we won't be back a third time. The campsites are on the water, which is a plus, but they are extremely tight with zero privacy and the campsite host is non-existent if you have a problem. In our last trip, there was a tent next to our RV that was set up on the wrong side, so multiple people were coming in and out of our area, walking on our rug, etc. We were literally one arm's length away from total strangers as soon as we stepped out of our RV. The RV on the other side of us had a large vulgar profanity on the spare tire cover of their RV, and no one talked to them about it. As soon as we got there, a large number of intoxicated people were walking through the sites, including ours, and this goes on the entire stay. The music goes until 2 am, and it is a rowdy bar atmosphere pretty much 24/7. If you are a spring-breaker type with no kids that just wants to drink with strangers for your entire camping trip, this is the place for you. If you enjoy camping with some privacy and quiet family time, you'll hate every minute being here.
