East Fork RV Resort Introduce
Welcome to East Fork RV Resort, a campground located at 1626 US-59 S in Cleveland, Texas. If you are looking for "RV parks near me" in the Cleveland area, East Fork RV Resort offers a convenient location and, according to some reviews, notable features such as nice-sized, concreted, and even lots, as well as a clean and modern laundry room. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on the available customer feedback.
One reviewer described East Fork RV Resort as a "fantastic campground" and mentioned staying there while working in the area. This suggests that the park is suitable for both short-term stays, such as those related to work assignments, and potentially longer-term stays as well. The reviewer specifically praised the "nice size lots" which were also noted as being "concreted, and even." These are significant advantages for RVers, as concreted pads can provide a stable and clean surface, while even lots make leveling an RV easier and more secure, contributing to a more comfortable living experience.
The same positive review also highlighted the positive interaction with "Holli in the office," describing her as "a pleasure to work with." This suggests that the office staff at East Fork RV Resort are friendly and helpful, which can greatly enhance a guest's experience, from the initial booking process to any assistance needed during their stay. Positive interactions with staff can contribute to a welcoming and supportive atmosphere within the RV park.
Furthermore, this reviewer specifically mentioned that the "laundry room" was "clean and modern." Clean and well-maintained laundry facilities are a crucial amenity for many RV travelers, especially those on longer trips or who are living in their RV full-time. A modern laundry room suggests updated equipment that functions efficiently, making this necessary chore more convenient and pleasant.
However, another reviewer expressed a less positive experience, specifically regarding an interaction with the manager, identified as "Holly." This reviewer stated that they "would have gave 5 stars" but for this encounter. They described the manager as appearing to be "on the influence of some sort," noting behaviors such as being "sporadic and overly aggressive" and "all over the place" with a perceived lack of self-control. The reviewer went as far as to suggest that the manager might have been under the influence of "speed or something" and strongly recommended that "the owner needs new management!!!"
This contrasting review presents a mixed picture of East Fork RV Resort. While some aspects, such as the quality of the lots and the laundry facilities, along with positive interactions with at least one office staff member, are commendable, the serious concerns raised by another reviewer regarding the manager's behavior cannot be ignored. It is important for potential visitors to be aware of these differing experiences.
The address, 1626 US-59 S, Cleveland, TX 77327, indicates that East Fork RV Resort is located in Cleveland, Texas, along US Highway 59 South. This location might offer convenient access for travelers passing through the area or those working in or visiting Cleveland and the surrounding region. Being situated on a major highway can provide ease of access but might also entail some level of traffic noise, though the extent of this would depend on the park's specific layout and proximity to the highway.

Fantastic campground, stayed here while I was working in the area. Nice size lots, concreted, and even. Holli in the office was a pleasure to work with. Laundry room clean and modern.
Feb 14, 2025 · Randall BooneWould have gave 5 stars however the manager “Holly “ came to talk to me but she seemed to be on the influence of some sort . Cause she seemed sporadic and overly aggressive !! Was all over the place , she couldn't control herself . Was definitely on speed or something . The owner needs new management!!! 😡
Dec 26, 2024 · Eazy FlowwWe enjoyed our month long stay at East Fork. The sites are nice and spacious. The park is packed full of amenities so there was plenty to keep us busy. My favorite being the miles of nature trails to walk and enjoy. The sunsets over the water were amazing.Facilities are great, modern and clean. Holly was very helpful and friendly. The only thing that would make this a 5 star resort would be if the WiFi worked and there was cable TV. Especially for the long term guests.Otherwise this place is top notch compared to most of the other parks in the area that we visited.
Sep 30, 2023 · Our Mobile JourneyWe really enjoyed our stay at the East Fork RV Resort. The management and staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. There was an incident with a period of heavy rains and some flooding in the resort due to unusual releases from the two local lakes. However, the management made sure that everyone was aware and assisted with relocating RV’s. I returned to the resort within a few days because of the care shown by the East Fork Team. Also, the nature trails are awesome, it’s typically quiet, very well kept, and new amenities are planned in addition to what is already there.J. Hall 2-15-2024
Feb 17, 2024 · Jewell Hall( EDIT: The last time i went, they told me it cost $25 a person to fish and are under new ownership. I haven't been back since. Hopefully, this has changed, as i was told i was always welcome with the previous owners. The water just isn't worth $25 a person.) Awesome folks and great fishing! Kayaking their waters was a wonderful time and a great way to spend the day. As someone seasoned in fishing and raised in the area, I couldn't recommend a better RV Resort to spend your time, nor cast your pole. Thanks again for having me! (Excuse the awkward hold on the Bass. I was checking him over for wounds.)
