Woodstream Campsite Reviews
I loved every aspect about this place! My significant other and I stayed in the Pines cabin for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) and it was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed, microwave, 3/4 size fridge, electricity, Full-sized bed, 2 twin mattresses in a bunk bed format, broom, dustpan, fly swatter, dining table (picnic table), 2 outdoor chairs, a fire ring, water spicket, porch lights and of course the porch. The owners were fantastic, kind and accommodating. We had gone to the store multiple times and was greeted by a smile each visit. The store has everything you need and fun things for the kids. The pool seemed well kept and clean. Mini-golf was a blast, and super cheap. The creek was beautiful as well as the bridges to cross.Overall 9/10! The only point of was the walk to the bathroom but HEY! that's camping and I knew what I signed up for.The people there were all friendly and the environment was kid-friendly.Would go again :)Also EXCELLENT price point.
Aug 18, 2024 · Maddie EliseCute little campground, kid friendly. Floating down the stream is fun, but could use a little clearing in certain spots to make floating easier.
Jan 03, 2025 · Don CotyWhat a beautiful place to camp. Our camper was next to the stream. Perfect setting, and very nice area. Area was clean. Store was beautiful. We were there for the mystery dinner. Had a great time. What a nice resort. Have told many friends to check it out!
Sep 19, 2024 · Renita CarapellaSuch a wonderful, family friendly campground. They have a pool, mini golf and a creek that runs through it that the kids can "tube" on. We were there for their halloween weekend and there were hayrides, a dj, pumkin decorating and pumking slingshots. It was very unique, tended to and so much fun.
Oct 03, 2024 · Heather Van ElkWe are here for the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend to do fall hikes in Letchworth state park. The Cabin(Pines)we rented for two nights made our stay very comfortable & relaxing.Since the tent sites around were not occupied because it is mid October and bit colder we had the whole area to ourselves. There is a very short pathway at the back to washrooms which was very convenient plus there is a pit toilet next to cabin too.The cabin itself is very roomy with lots of windows.Very well lit even in the night.Lots of work tops.I like the idea of having a (almost new) picknick table inside the cabin & 6 (double) plug points including one outside with a breaker. This whole place is very well kept ,very neat and tidy.Due to light rain on Sunday we decided to relax in the cabin but couldnt resist doing few short walks around little bridges and the creek in the campground as the surroundings were so beautiful with fall colours. We had everything we need to make our stay very comfortable except for a door mat which could have been very useful to keep the cabin clean and dry especially on rainy days. This place is so homely. The staff is so friendly ,helpful and very accomodating. It was very thoughtful of the management to provide a paper towel roll and dish washing liquid soap which was very useful. Thanks a lot for all your hardwork to keep this place in such a way that made our stay very enjoyable ,relaxing, comfortable and memorable. We would definitely stay here if we do a short visit from Toronto to Letchworth SP again in next Fall.
