Yellowstone Hotsprings Campground Reviews
The hotsprings are top-notch. One of our favorite hotsprings and a huge bonus is that it's right outside of our favorite National Park. Our view next to the river was spectacular. There were elk in the parking lot when we got there, and when we were soaking, we saw 4 elk on the top of the mountain grazing. Once in a lifetime memories!
Mar 08, 2025 · Toni WardWe used the RV parking lot. It had a very nice view. There were picnic tables, and we were able to use the on-site bathrooms and showers, which were very clean.
Apr 03, 2025 · Ilya MarronI was on tour for more than 7 months in the U.S. and had a reservation on this campsite. But this Campground was this with the worst price-/performance-ration. In the high season I paid USD 80.- per night without water and electricity. 3 of 4 showers were broken. The toilets dirty. And the hot springs beside cost separate. I cannot recommend this unkempt place.
Nov 21, 2024 · Rudolf SladekThis is a great campground. Our 45ft class A and trailer fit perfectly in the back in spot. We were on electric only. Dump and fill station was easy to get to and easy to use. Francis was very nice and helpful! I would stay here. Also 7 mins to Gardiner and 15 to Yellowstone. Great spot.
Sep 09, 2024 · Brandt VojcekThis campground was pretty disappointing. While the views were nice, the facilities were not great. In addition to the washing machines being broken, the water spigot near the tent campsites didn’t work, so I had to lug our heavy water container across the entire facility. The bathrooms were just portapotties, though they were well-maintained and clean. As other reviews have noted, there were loud power washing noises late into the night—until about 11:30 p.m.—and not even ear plugs could fully drown them out. Not exactly what you’re looking for when you’re trying to camp. In the morning, the staff decided to move our camping chairs and put a sprinkler in the middle of our site, nevermind that we were still present at the grounds and had been trying to sit there during the morning. For $34 per night, I was expecting better (or more accurately, I was expecting the amenities advertised and for there not to be loud undisclosed noises late in the night at a purported “campsite”). I would recommend finding another campsite. If you were choosing this for the proximity to the Yellowstone Hot Springs, I’ll also share that those were also relatively overrated if you’re looking for a relaxing experience—lots of kids being loud and splashing. (Though we went during a weekday, not at night.) It was more like a public pool that happened to be hot.
