Zooland Family Campground Reviews
We have stayed here 4 times so far and will continue to stay in the future. The sites are great - both the full hookup and the w/e only sites are spacious and clean. The staff is phenomenal, especially Cheryl! The bathhouses are always clean - it seems they get cleaned more than the once a day of other campgrounds. My daughter loves all the fun stuff in the playground area. The pool has not been opened during our stays here but I’m sure it will be as wonderful as everything else. Shopping and the zoo are close by. Highly, highly recommend!
Apr 18, 2025 · Ria RabunWe absolutely loved our stay at Zoo Land! Lots of fun activities for the kids, jumping pillow, inflatable axe throwing, peddle carts, and plenty of room to run around. We appreciated that all those activities were included, didn't feel Nickle and dimes to entertain our kids. The trail is very short but gives a nice place to take a walk. My boys enjoyed jumping on the rocks in the river and wanted to fish the pond but we ran out of time. Even our dog had a chance to make friends at the little dog park!Campground is close to the zoo so we enjoyed one day at the campground and one day at the zoo before heading home. The staff was helpful, the facilities were clean, and the sites were just what we need. Hope to come back in the summer to use the pool and waterslide!
Apr 21, 2025 · suzanne belangerOverall this was a great low key experience for our family. We stayed at the retreat! It was deceiving from the outside but when you got inside it didn’t disappoint. It was like a little apartment. Loved the decor and artwork all around. The kitchen was fairly big and had all the supplies you could think of. We also loved the plates, bowls, and cups supplied in the kitchen. All the amenities were close so we didn’t have to worry about the kids getting too far out of our sight. The only negative experience we had was that the hot water got cold quick for the shower and we could have gotten a little more detailed check out instructions. Overall we had a good time and would recommend if you are looking for a nice, small, quaint, campground.
Apr 17, 2025 · Arlene LawrenceOur first time camping at Zooland was during Easter weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised! We had no idea they had so many fun events for kids, including Easter egg hunts and even a free face painter. The staff were extremely welcoming, and the campground was very clean and well-maintained.We especially loved that they kept us updated by text with reminders about events, so we didn’t miss a thing. Everything was on time and well organized. We had a great experience and can’t wait to come back!
Apr 22, 2025 · Jacqueline EstradaThis place is a hidden gem! We had 5 kids with us and they enjoyed it so much. The bouncy pad and trails to ride their bikes. They walked on rocks through the stream. It was beautiful and quiet. The bathhouse and laundry area was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.
