For local users in Covina and the surrounding areas who are exploring "RV parks near me" with an interest in long-term residential options, Starlite Mobile Estates, located at 1045 N Azusa Ave, Covina, CA 91722, USA, offers a mobile home living environment. While the platform category might primarily focus on temporary RV accommodations, mobile home parks like Starlite provide a different style of living for those seeking a more permanent community. You can contact Starlite Mobile Estates at (626) 331-5927 or their mobile number, +1 626-331-5927, to inquire about residency opportunities and learn more about the park.
The available customer reviews for Starlite Mobile Estates present a concerning picture of the community, highlighting several significant challenges reported by residents. While one positive aspect mentioned is that it is a "peaceful park, where you can walk your dogs anytime," the overwhelming majority of feedback points to substantial issues that prospective residents should carefully consider.
One recurring problem is the internet service. Frontier is identified as the park's internet provider, with residents experiencing "DSL really slow speed." This can be a significant inconvenience for those who rely on reliable internet for work, communication, or entertainment. Residents have found that alternative providers like T-Mobile Home Internet, AT&T Hotspot, and Verizon Hotspot offer much better performance, indicating a deficiency in the park's primary internet infrastructure.
Another significant environmental concern is the frequent breaking of park water pipes. This suggests potential issues with the park's infrastructure maintenance, which could lead to disruptions in water service and potential property damage. Additionally, residents report that carports flood during the rainy season, with water levels reaching around 1 to 3 inches deep. This flooding can cause damage to vehicles and stored items and indicates drainage problems within the park.
Financial concerns are also prominent in the reviews. Residents report that "rent will increase every year," suggesting a lack of long-term affordability and potential financial strain for those on a fixed income. One reviewer states that the "Owner and investors just want to keep ever penny and not invest in the park," implying a lack of reinvestment in necessary infrastructure improvements and amenities.
Parking limitations are another issue raised by residents. Carports are reportedly limited to two cars only, with "no parking available for a third car." This can be a significant inconvenience for households with more than two vehicles or for visitors.
Concerns about the park's management are also significant. One reviewer states that "Management does absolutely zero for the residents," alleging a lack of responsiveness to residents' needs and a reluctance to undertake necessary maintenance or improvements. This reviewer claims that amenities are being taken away while rent increases. They also suggest that management expects residents to take on responsibilities that the park should handle, such as painting properties and roads, and installing speed bumps to address speeding issues within the park.
Another reviewer echoes this sentiment, stating, "The Management thinks they are Gods and they control the entire park even though we pay the rent and their salaries." This strongly suggests a perceived authoritarian and unhelpful management style that does not prioritize the well-being or concerns of the residents.
Finally, a warning is given regarding brokers selling mobile homes within the park, with a suggestion that they may inflate house prices. This is an important consideration for potential buyers looking to move into Starlite Mobile Estates.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Starlite Mobile Estates can be described as peaceful for dog walking, but also plagued by infrastructure issues such as slow internet, frequent water pipe breaks, and carport flooding. The financial environment is characterized by consistent rent increases and a perceived lack of reinvestment in the park. Parking is limited, and the management is described as unresponsive and unhelpful by multiple residents.
The services and features typically expected in a mobile home park, such as utility hookups and waste management, are not specifically commented on in the reviews, but we can assume their presence. However, the quality and reliability of some of these services, particularly water and internet, are called into question. The lack of investment mentioned by residents suggests that amenities beyond the basic necessities might be limited or deteriorating.
The sense of community is only briefly touched upon as "peaceful," but the numerous negative comments regarding management and park conditions could indicate underlying tensions or dissatisfaction within the resident population.
Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not include any specific offers or incentives for new residents. Given the concerns raised about rent increases and the lack of investment in the park, prospective residents should carefully inquire about the current lot rental rates, the history of rent increases, and any fees or charges associated with living in Starlite Mobile Estates. It would also be prudent to inquire about the management's plans for addressing the reported infrastructure issues and their responsiveness to resident concerns.
For local users in Covina seeking a long-term residential option in a mobile home park, Starlite Mobile Estates offers a peaceful location for dog owners. However, the numerous and significant negative reviews regarding slow internet, frequent water problems, carport flooding, consistent rent increases, and perceived unresponsive management should give prospective residents serious pause. Thorough due diligence, including direct communication with current residents (if possible) and a detailed discussion with the management about the issues raised in the reviews, is strongly recommended before considering Starlite Mobile Estates as a place to live.

Starlite Mobile Estates Reviews
Frontier is the Mobile Park internet provider with a DSL realy slow speed. Park water pipes break often, and car ports flood during rainy season. Car ports flood around 1 to 3 inches deep. The only internet providers that work great is T-Mobile Home Internet, AT&T Hitspot, and Verizon Hotspot. You can count that rent will increase every year. Owner and investors just want to keep ever penny and not invest in the park. Car ports are 2 cars only. No parking available for a third car. Be careful with brokers selling Mobile homes, they increase house prices. It is a peaceful park, where you can walk your dogs anytime.
Jan 18, 2025 · Juan RamrezManagement does absolutely zero for the residents. They add more rent in and take away amenities. They want residents to do what they will not do themselves ( such as painting their property, painting the roads, and putting in speed bumps so people can not use the road as a drag strip). The Management thinks they are Gods and they control the entire park even though we pay the rent and their salaries.
Dec 10, 2016 · Poe BoyAs a Real Eatate agent, I deal with many park offices and Cindy and Ron at Starlite Mobile Estates are the kindest managers I have met. The park is well maintained, management is easily accessible when needed. This park feels like one big family.
Mar 06, 2022 · Shelley Pence Van NoyI give it a minus 5 stars. Be very careful visiting this place when you look for park guest parking is full of cars that aren't guest. you try to park by a house you're visiting, they will tow you , my first time at this place I was there visiting someone who's son had died, along with other family members when a tow truck appeared lifted a family's car who's battery was dead, and explained the situation, but the driver did not care he needed $90. or he would take the car and it would cost $500. to get it back. So we paid and noticed a car down a few homes down the park also park by the side of the house and sent someone to warn these people to move, but the driver got on his truck turned around and lifted that car and the owner came out and I'm sure they had to pay as well. Avoid this place, and I'm going to complain to the city about this place, and have them inspect and fine whoever is in charge for whatever they find that is not up to code, I'm sure they'll find many things wrong.
Jun 21, 2019 · carlos romeroCharged a 50$ cash only deposit for a non-smoking room. When I called to ask how it would be refunded to me, they informed me that a deposit payed in cash could only be given back to the same person in cash, and it must be done in person. This is impossible for me, as I was in the area on business and left quickly after my stay. They then informed me that they had proof of me smoking in the room (which I did not, I smoked off the property, as I was instructed to by the counterperson) and that they could not share the "evidence" they collected that proved it.On top of this, when I arrived the room was not made, there were dirty towels everywhere, and the bed was tossed like it had recently been slept in.During the call the attendant was curt and unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any reasonable alternatives.
