Mystic Woods Mobile & RV Park Introduce
Mystic Woods Mobile & RV Park, situated at 92252 Cape Arago Hwy in Coos Bay, Oregon, is presented as a facility that accommodates both mobile homes and recreational vehicles. For individuals searching within the category of "RV parks near me," this location might appear as a potential option along the Oregon coast. However, it is crucial to consider the available customer reviews, which present a concerning picture of past management and conditions, alongside a recent mention of new management and improvements.
One detailed review recounts a deeply negative experience with the park under previous management. The reviewer initially sought an RV spot but was allegedly denied due to having a service animal, despite the park reportedly having available spaces. This raises serious concerns regarding compliance with regulations protecting individuals with service animals. Furthermore, the review details a protracted and difficult process of retrieving a security deposit, spanning six months and allegedly involving repeated false assurances of checks being mailed, ultimately requiring a threat of legal action for the deposit to be returned. The reviewer's description of the park as a "trashy place" with alleged drug activity and dealing, specifically mentioning "white dope," paints a disturbing picture of the environment under the former ownership. The reviewer also makes serious accusations against the previous owners, stating they resided in Florida and were allegedly involved in illegal drug use and neglect of the property, referring to them as "slumlords."
The same lengthy review does offer a glimmer of potential improvement, noting that "the showers and bathrooms finally opened back up and they got rid of a lot of the dopers on White d o p e and it is under New Management." This suggests that efforts have been made to address some of the significant issues raised. However, the reviewer also claims that "the owners are still in Florida still doing a bunch of cocaine and the park is still for sale," reiterating the "slum Lords" accusation even with the new management in place. This information presents a complex and potentially contradictory view of the current state of the park.
The second review is markedly different and appears to be unrelated to the park itself. It speaks of a personal experience involving a friend and finding symbolic items at a store. This review does not provide any information about the environment, services, or features of Mystic Woods Mobile & RV Park.
Given the overwhelmingly negative and concerning details provided in the first review regarding past management, alleged illegal activities, and issues with deposit returns, alongside the more recent mention of new management and improvements, it is extremely difficult to provide an objective introduction to the park's current state. However, based solely on the available text, we can attempt to outline potential aspects, while strongly emphasizing the need for thorough investigation by any prospective residents or RVers.
Environment (Past): According to one reviewer, the past environment of Mystic Woods Mobile & RV Park was "trashy" with alleged drug activity and dealing. This paints a picture of an unsafe and poorly maintained setting. However, the mention of new management suggests a potential shift in the current environment, with claims of "getting rid of a lot of the dopers" and reopening of facilities like showers and bathrooms, indicating possible improvements in cleanliness and safety.
Services (Past & Present): The first review mentions the eventual reopening of "showers and bathrooms," implying that these were services offered, albeit with periods of being unavailable under previous management. The availability of RV spots is also mentioned, although one individual claimed to be denied due to a service animal. Standard RV park services typically include utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity), and it is likely these were or are provided. For mobile home residents, standard services would include lot rental and utility connections. The presence of new management suggests a potential for improved service provision, but specific details are lacking in the provided reviews.
Features (Past & Present): The existence of RV spots and mobile home lots is a primary feature. The mention of a service animal being involved suggests that pets might be allowed under certain circumstances, although the alleged denial based on a service animal raises concerns about the park's adherence to related laws. The dog's presence also implies that there might have been some accommodation for pets. The reopening of showers and bathrooms indicates these as features available to residents and guests. The alleged presence of drug activity in the past would be a significant negative feature. The potential improvements under new management might include enhanced security, better maintenance, and a more welcoming atmosphere, but these are not explicitly detailed.
Promotional Information: The provided text does not contain any positive promotional information. The fact that "the park is still for sale" could be considered relevant information for potential long-term residents or investors, as it might indicate future changes or uncertainty regarding the park's operation.
Important Considerations: The overwhelmingly negative experience detailed in the first review, particularly concerning the alleged denial of accommodation due to a service animal and the severe issues with the return of a security deposit, should be taken very seriously by anyone considering this park. The accusations of past drug activity and poor management paint a concerning picture. While there is a mention of "New Management" and some improvements, the same reviewer casts doubt on the extent of positive change and alleges continued negative behavior by the owners. It is imperative for prospective residents or RVers to conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting the new management directly, visiting the park in person, and seeking recent, unbiased reviews from other sources to ascertain the current environment, services, and management practices.
In conclusion, based on the limited and heavily negative information available, Mystic Woods Mobile & RV Park appears to have a history of significant issues related to management, safety, and customer service. While there is a mention of new management and potential improvements, these claims are countered by ongoing negative assertions from the same reviewer. Anyone considering this park should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent research to determine if the current conditions align with their needs and expectations. The severe allegations from a former customer cannot be ignored and warrant careful investigation.

Aug 29, 2023 · Mark WilsonMy friend became my angel today and at this store was a beautiful painting of the world with an angel flying in space. I also found a beautiful purse with a cross on it to remember the last conversation I had with her. I told her we will meet on the other side. I then saw her and me as. Children together reborn again. I love you Kelly sue bridges.
Jun 28, 2018 · Angel Baby CelineRude, disrespectful and don't care about nothing but themselves. Never in my life have I ran across such humans if you can call them humans. Who in their right mind would kick out an 88year old man that had been there 10+ years and never once late on rent or caused a problem, a man who stuck to him self and didn't bother anybody ever, and not only that but was literally on his death bed in transition. I would have had to try to move him as he was dying! Judy Hants (owner) and her 30+year younger boyfriend Chris Waters made the last few months of his life hell and had no peace when he passed. The name calling, loud music, and being smoked out and flood lights making it daylight at night was childish and uncalled for. These people don't deserve to have this business and should loose it. Bring back her ex husband Ralph! He was a man of his word, caring yet Stern and had a special way of running that place. We miss him!
Apr 17, 2019 · Crystal HolmesWe love it here. Forest is on the ocean. Owners Are wonderful.
Sep 02, 2016 · Nick CarothersSlum lords at its finest. They have no problem coming right into your home drunk and starting fights and destroying others property and then lie to the police about it, maintanence guy will bully kids while drunk. Will not repair anything on their rentals. Good luck with these scumbags.
