In terms of services and features, the limited information available offers a mixed perspective. One customer review praises the kindness and helpfulness of the manager, Mike, highlighting his willingness to provide detailed information and a welcoming attitude even near closing time. This positive feedback suggests that Midway RV Park values customer service and strives to create a friendly environment for its guests. The reviewer specifically mentioned Mike's thoroughness in explaining details, assisting with the application process, and answering all their questions, which left a positive impression and a desire to secure a vacancy at the park.
However, another review presents serious allegations regarding the park's management and practices. This review claims that the management, owner, and some individuals within the park exhibit racist behavior. Additionally, it alleges financial impropriety, stating that the park is overcharging residents for electricity at a rate of $0.14 per kilowatt when the electric company supposedly charges $0.12 per kilowatt. The reviewer further claims that the park does not allow residents to install their own meters, implying this policy is in place to maintain the alleged overcharging scheme. These are serious accusations that potential visitors should be aware of and consider when making their decision.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is crucial for individuals considering Midway RV Park to conduct their own due diligence. This could involve contacting the park directly to inquire about their policies, amenities, and availability. It might also be beneficial to seek out additional reviews from various online platforms to gain a broader understanding of the experiences of other guests. Visiting the park in person, if feasible, could also provide valuable insights into the environment and management style.
When choosing an RV park, several factors typically come into play. These often include the availability of essential hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer; the condition and size of the RV sites; the presence of amenities like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi; recreational facilities such as playgrounds or common areas; and the overall safety and cleanliness of the park. Pet policies are also an important consideration for many RV travelers. Midway RV Park Reviews
Management and the owner and the people in this park are racist. They also are stealing electricity from everybody in the park charging them $.14 a kilowatt even though the electric company is only charging $.12 a kilowatt. They won’t allow you to put in your own meter because then they’d be losing money.
Oct 28, 2024 · JMike the Manager was so kind to us. We went when it was almost closing time and he came out and talked to us explaining every detail. Let us filled out an application and answered all the questions we had. Mike was so very kind and friendly. We need more people like Mr. Mike. Thank you and hopefully we could find a vacancy soon. We loved Midway RV Park.
Feb 27, 2022 · Reena FormanekReally enjoyed this park. Nice, clean and in good location. We'll come back. Like the privacy.
Nov 18, 2017 · Antney JCalled about 2 nights, and was informed in a fairly rude manner that they don't do overnighters, I guess their policy may have changed since previous reviews.
Oct 22, 2024 · Boba FettBeautiful Park!!We were on the end closest to the highway which traffic is nonstop, but the atmosphere, the privacy hedges and greenery galore made up for the stay. The space is large and roomy for a patio setup, small deck and a vehicle with a boat too! I highly recommend this spot! There are many wonderful people including the owner and staff! If I were to stay in Coos Bay I would again stay here!!Thank you for your goodness here!
