Seaport RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Coos Bay, Oregon area, Seaport RV Park, located at 63301 Boat Basin Rd, is an option that appears in search results. However, recent customer reviews paint a very concerning picture of the park, highlighting significant issues related to safety, management, infrastructure, and overall environment. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on this recent feedback, strongly advising potential visitors to exercise extreme caution and seek further information before considering a stay here.
One of the most alarming aspects highlighted in the reviews is the alleged presence of a significant number of individuals described as "tweakers" and "drunks" within the park. This raises serious safety concerns for potential visitors, as such an environment can be unpredictable and potentially unsafe. For individuals and families searching for secure and peaceful RV parks near me, this feedback is a major red flag and should not be taken lightly.
Adding to these safety concerns is the reported ineffectiveness of the park management. One reviewer explicitly states that the manager "doesn't do sh!t" regarding the issues within the park. This lack of management intervention in addressing problems related to the behavior of some residents further exacerbates the safety concerns and suggests a potentially chaotic and unsupervised environment. When choosing RV parks near me, the presence of responsible and proactive management is crucial for ensuring a safe and orderly stay.
While one reviewer mentions that the "price of rent isn't bad," this is immediately followed by the caveat that it is "still not worth it" due to the numerous negative aspects of the park. This suggests that any potential cost savings are far outweighed by the undesirable living conditions and safety concerns. For those seeking affordable RV parks near me, it is essential to consider the overall value proposition, and these reviews strongly suggest that Seaport RV Park falls short despite a potentially lower price point.
The physical condition of Seaport RV Park is also a significant concern. Reviewers describe "everything falling apart," including an "out of date" and dilapidated power system with "power boxes falling apart." Such infrastructure issues can lead to inconveniences, potential safety hazards, and an unreliable supply of essential utilities. When evaluating RV parks near me, the condition and maintenance of the park's infrastructure are critical factors.
Hygiene appears to be another major problem at Seaport RV Park. Multiple reviewers describe the shower and bathroom facilities as "disgusting" and that "the bathrooms suck." Clean and sanitary restroom facilities are a fundamental expectation for most travelers when staying at RV parks near me. These descriptions suggest a severe lack of upkeep and cleanliness, which can significantly detract from the overall comfort and health safety of guests.
Adding to the list of negative aspects is the serious issue of theft within the park. One reviewer explicitly warns of "LOTS OF THIEF'S in the park" who "will take anything not bolted down." This creates a climate of insecurity and distrust among residents and visitors. The reviewer further alleges that the manager finds this situation "funny," indicating a complete lack of concern for the safety and security of the park's occupants. For anyone searching for secure RV parks near me where their belongings will be safe, this feedback is deeply concerning.
Another reviewer echoes the concerns about the presence of "a good amount of tweakers" and the poor condition of the bathrooms, reiterating that "the bathrooms suck." This consistency in negative feedback across multiple reviews reinforces the severity of these issues. This reviewer also mentions the inconvenient and potentially unsanitary practice of having to get a key from the manager every time they need to use the bathrooms and the lack of toilet paper, requiring guests to bring their own. These additional details further highlight the substandard conditions and management of the park.
The overall picture painted by these recent reviews is one of an unsafe, poorly managed, and run-down RV park with significant issues related to drug activity, theft, infrastructure, and hygiene. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Coos Bay, Seaport RV Park appears to be a location to avoid based on this recent feedback. The potential for an unpleasant and insecure experience seems very high.
Given the severity of the concerns raised, it would be irresponsible to speculate on any positive aspects or potential services at Seaport RV Park. The overwhelming negative feedback focuses on fundamental issues that would deter most travelers seeking a safe, clean, and well-managed place to stay. It is highly unlikely that the park offers any attractive amenities or a pleasant environment under these reported conditions.
Similarly, with such significant negative issues dominating the recent reviews, it is improbable that Seaport RV Park is currently offering any promotional information that would outweigh the serious safety and living condition concerns. Potential visitors should prioritize their safety and well-being over any potential cost savings at this location.
In conclusion, for those searching for "RV parks near me" in Coos Bay, Oregon, the recent customer reviews of Seaport RV Park present a deeply concerning picture. The alleged prevalence of drug activity and theft, coupled with ineffective management, dilapidated infrastructure, and disgusting bathroom facilities, strongly suggest that this park is not a suitable option for a safe and comfortable stay. Potential visitors are strongly advised to seek alternative RV parks in the Coos Bay area and to thoroughly research any other options before making a decision. The feedback indicates that the low price point is not worth the significant compromises in safety, comfort, and peace of mind that a stay at Seaport RV Park may entail.

The park is over ran with tweakers, drunks and a manager who doesn't do sh!t. The price of rent isn't bad but still not worth it. Everything is falling apart, the power system is out of date and power boxes falling apart, the shower/bathrooms are disgusting, the laundry room isn't bad, LOTS OF THIEF'S in the park, they'll take anything not bolted down and manager thinks it's funny.
