Snug Harbor Rv Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" along the Oregon Coast, Snug Harbor RV Park, located at 91124 Cape Arago Hwy in Coos Bay, is an option that may appear in your search results. However, recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture that potential visitors should carefully consider. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on this recent feedback, highlighting potential drawbacks and noting the discrepancy with older reviews.
One of the most immediate concerns raised by a recent reviewer is the cost of staying at Snug Harbor RV Park. They reported a rate of $48 per day and questioned the value received for this price. This suggests that the park may be perceived as expensive relative to the amenities and overall experience it offers. For budget-conscious travelers searching for affordable RV parks near me, this pricing information is a significant factor to consider.
Adding to the financial considerations is the park's payment policy. The same recent reviewer explicitly states that Snug Harbor RV Park only accepts cash or check, with no credit card payments. In today's digital age, many travelers rely on credit cards for convenience and security. A cash or check-only policy can be inconvenient and may deter some potential guests who prefer or need to use credit cards for their transactions when staying at RV parks near me.
Another significant issue raised in the recent feedback is the lack of certain common amenities. The reviewer specifically mentions the absence of cable or satellite television hookups and describes the explanation provided as a "poor excuse." For many RVers, especially those on longer trips, access to television for entertainment or news is a desired amenity when choosing RV parks near me. The lack of these hookups could be a significant disadvantage for some.
The physical condition of Snug Harbor RV Park is also a cause for concern based on the recent review. The reviewer describes the spaces as "run down" and notes the presence of "unkempt full time rvs." This suggests a lack of maintenance and an unappealing aesthetic, which can detract from the overall camping experience. When searching for RV parks near me, travelers often look for well-maintained and visually appealing environments.
Overall, the recent reviewer concluded that their experience at Snug Harbor RV Park was "not a pleasant experience," directly contradicting older reviews. This stark contrast suggests that significant changes may have occurred at the park, possibly including new ownership or management, as speculated by the reviewer. This highlights the importance of considering the recency of reviews when evaluating RV parks near me, as conditions and management can change over time.
Another recent review echoes concerns about the management and the overall experience. This reviewer describes an initial negative impression, mentioning a lack of basic supplies like change and soap. They also allege being charged for hot water but not receiving it, followed by accusations of leaving something on the floor that they deny. These are serious allegations that point to potential issues with park management, billing practices, and customer service. When searching for RV parks near me, a reputation for poor management and unfair practices is a significant red flag.
The repeated mention of issues with hot water is particularly concerning. Reliable access to hot water for showers and washing is a fundamental expectation for most travelers when staying at RV parks near me. Being charged extra for a service that is not consistently provided is a significant point of dissatisfaction.
The combination of high daily rates, inconvenient payment methods, lack of expected amenities like TV hookups, a run-down appearance, and serious allegations regarding management and billing practices paints a negative picture of the current state of Snug Harbor RV Park based on recent customer feedback. This stands in stark contrast to potentially more positive experiences reflected in older reviews, indicating a potential decline in the park's quality and service.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Coos Bay area, it is crucial to be aware of these recent negative experiences at Snug Harbor RV Park. While the address places it on Cape Arago Highway, suggesting proximity to the coast and potentially scenic surroundings, the internal conditions and management of the park, as indicated by the recent reviews, may outweigh the benefits of its location for many travelers.
The provided information includes phone numbers for Snug Harbor RV Park: (541) 888-5924 and +1 541-888-5924. Potential visitors are strongly advised to contact the park directly to inquire about their current rates, payment policies, available amenities (including TV hookups and hot water), the condition of the campsites, and their management practices. Asking specific questions based on the concerns raised in the recent reviews will be essential in getting an accurate understanding of the current situation.
Given the overwhelmingly negative tone of the recent feedback, it is impossible to ascertain any positive features or services that might still exist at Snug Harbor RV Park. The reviews do not mention any specific amenities beyond the lack of TV hookups and the problematic hot water situation. Therefore, prospective guests should be prepared to inquire about all basic and additional amenities they might expect from RV parks near me.
Similarly, no promotional information is available in the provided data. Given the recent negative reviews, it is unlikely that the park is currently offering any special deals or incentives. However, it would still be prudent to inquire directly if any promotions are available.
In conclusion, for those searching for "RV parks near me" in Coos Bay, Oregon, Snug Harbor RV Park warrants significant caution based on recent customer reviews. The reported high daily rate, cash/check-only payment policy, lack of TV hookups, run-down condition, and serious allegations regarding management and hot water service are all factors that potential visitors should carefully consider. While older reviews may have been more positive, the recent feedback suggests a significant decline in the park's quality and overall experience. Thoroughly investigating the current conditions by contacting the park directly and seeking more up-to-date reviews from various sources is strongly recommended before making a decision to stay at Snug Harbor RV Park.

Snug Harbor Rv Park Reviews
Most of the reviews are 2 years old. Something has changed, possibly new owners, don't know. My experience was one of $48 a day for what? Only cash or check, no credit cards. No cable or satellite tv and a poor excuse for why not. Run down spaces with unkempt full time rvs. Overall, not a pleasant experience contrary to other reviews and I am not hard to please.
