Agave Village Introduce
Welcome to Agave Village, an RV park located at 7807 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207, USA. For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Mesa, Arizona area, Agave Village presents itself as a community with a range of amenities. You can contact them at (480) 228-3519 or +1 480-228-3519 for further information.
Based on customer reviews, Agave Village offers a generally pleasant environment, described by one visitor as a "lovely Village." The infrastructure includes two pools, providing residents and guests with opportunities for relaxation and recreation. For those interested in sports and outdoor activities, Agave Village features four pickleball courts and tennis courts, catering to both casual players and enthusiasts. Additionally, shuffleboard courts are available for leisurely games.
While the physical amenities of Agave Village seem to be well-regarded, some feedback indicates a different experience concerning the community's organized activities. One reviewer noted that while the village is lovely, there is a lack of planned activities such as aqua classes or organized events typically overseen by an activity director. This suggests a more "do-it-yourself" approach to recreation within the park, which may appeal to those who prefer independent leisure activities.
The presence of a friendly neighborhood atmosphere is also highlighted in the reviews. One resident mentioned having a "great neighbor" and enjoying the company of many small dogs within the community. However, it was also observed that despite the presence of a dog park, many of these pets do not seem to utilize it. This might be a point for pet owners to consider regarding the park's pet-related dynamics.
A significant portion of the recent feedback focuses on changes that occurred after Agave Village was reportedly sold to a large corporation, identified as Treehouse Communities. A former long-term resident who stayed at the park for four winters (2019-2023) expressed initial satisfaction, praising the nice amenities such as the pools, pickleball courts, and wide streets. However, their experience soured after the ownership change.
According to this review, the new management implemented price increases across the board and shifted the focus away from RVs, allegedly making it difficult for those who owned units within the park. This former resident expressed sympathy for current owners, stating that selling units had become challenging due to the perceived negative changes in management and policies. They strongly advised against recommending any RV park managed by Treehouse Communities, citing frequent turnover in management (reportedly eight managers in four years) as a potential indicator of poor working conditions and, by extension, a potentially negative impact on the residents' experience.
This critical review paints a concerning picture of the recent trajectory of Agave Village under its new management. The issues raised include increased costs, a less welcoming environment for RVs, and difficulties for owners trying to sell their units. These are significant points for prospective residents and those searching for "RV parks near me" to consider carefully.
It is important to note that this perspective comes from a former long-term resident and reflects their experiences over a specific period. While their feedback is detailed and critical, it represents one viewpoint. However, the strong nature of the concerns, particularly regarding the management company, suggests potential systemic issues that could affect the overall quality of life and investment for those choosing to stay at Agave Village.
For individuals actively searching for "RV parks near me" in Mesa, Arizona, Agave Village presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. On the one hand, it offers appealing physical amenities such as pools, tennis, and pickleball courts, along with a seemingly friendly community of residents. On the other hand, recent changes in ownership and management have led to concerns about rising costs, a perceived shift away from RVs, and potential difficulties for unit owners. The reported lack of organized activities might also be a factor for some to consider.
Given the contrasting aspects highlighted in the reviews, it would be prudent for potential visitors or residents to conduct further due diligence. This could include contacting Agave Village directly to inquire about current policies, pricing structures, and the availability of RV spots versus permanent units. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could also provide valuable insights into the present-day living experience within the park.
In conclusion, Agave Village offers a location in Mesa, Arizona, with certain attractive amenities. However, prospective guests and residents should be aware of the recent criticisms regarding management changes and their potential impact on the park's atmosphere and policies. While some may find the existing facilities and community appealing, the concerns raised in the reviews, particularly those related to the new management, warrant careful consideration before making a decision about staying at or investing in Agave Village. As you explore "RV parks near me," weighing these factors will be crucial in finding the best fit for your needs and expectations.

Agave Village Reviews
We have an RV spot and couldn't be happier. It's a lovely Village but there's not a ton to do. There's pools, tennis, shuffleboard and those kind of things but there's isn't what I had imagined like an activity director. I thought there would be aqua classes and maybe planned things but it's do-it-yourself.I've been really lucky and got a great neighbor, and there's so many little dogs around but none of them seem to use the dog park. 🤷♀️
Feb 17, 2025 · Kelly EwaldMy wife and I stayed at this park for 4 winters (2019-2023). The first two years we really enjoyed it. AV has some really nice amenities; two nice pools, for awesome pickleball courts and nice wide streets. If it were just that id give them 5 stars. Unfortunately AV was sold to a large corporation that raised prices on everything, kicked out RVs and made it tough on all who owned there. We are so happy that we left AV to go to an RV park that appreciates their owners and renters. For those that own units at AV I feel sorry for you. You can't sell a unit there because no one will buy. The owners are just terrible!! PS. They have gone through like 8 managers in 4 years. It must be terrible to work for Treehouse Communities. I cannot recommend ANY RV Park that has Treehouse as a managing company.
Jan 20, 2025 · Scott FreburgWe enjoyed our 4 yrs wintering at Agave Village but after being told by AV office that we couldn’t reserve our current F14 space because of “corporate policies/changes” (third year they declined our space choice) we have decided to follow the sunset to another Mesa park. We will miss friends and neighbors we enjoyed while at AV but will not miss the lack of appreciation a good customer deserves. We can’t recommend AV to other RVers because AV current owner policy is to eliminate RV spaces. They showed us the exit and we took it. Best wishes to all our friends. Mark & Anita.

Nov 26, 2024 · Lisa BoileauI just recently moved into Agave Village and l must say that this place is by far the best park in Mesa, Az. The park is very well maintained and the office staff have been very friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful. The people l have met are very friendly and supportive. If l could give them 100 stars l would. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!!If l could say one thing people just follow the park rules. Those rules are made to keep the park at this great level. So it doesn’t turn into an unsafe and nasty place.Kodo’s to Alasha and Lori.
