Sunset Resort MHP Introduce
If you're looking for "RV parks near me" in the Mesa, Arizona area and considering options that might accommodate long-term stays, Sunset Resort MHP, located at 8615 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207, is a mobile home park that warrants attention. While its primary focus appears to be mobile homes, it's worth examining the available information to determine if it could be a suitable option for RV living and to understand its environment, services, and features based on recent customer feedback.
Sunset Resort MHP can be contacted at (480) 986-1165 or +1 480-986-1165. This contact information can be used to inquire about the park's policies regarding RVs, the availability of spaces that can accommodate RVs, the types of hookups offered (electricity, water, sewage), and any amenities that might be available to residents, including those in RVs. It's also an opportunity to ask about the application process and any specific requirements for residency.
Based on the limited customer reviews available online, there are both positive and somewhat concerning aspects to consider regarding Sunset Resort MHP. One reviewer expresses a very positive experience, stating, "The park is well maintained by the manager Teresa and the assistant manager Violeta🌻 they helped us through the beginning paperwork we love our new home few snags along the way but we're getting them worked out. Clean and quiet Park. 💯" This review highlights the positive contributions of the management team, specifically Teresa and Violeta, in assisting new residents with the initial paperwork. It also describes the park as "well maintained," "clean," and "quiet," which are significant factors for anyone considering long-term residency, whether in a mobile home or an RV.
In contrast, another reviewer presents a more complex experience with "mixed feelings." They acknowledge that Antonia, Teresa, and the maintenance person were "nice" and deserving of a "great 5-star" rating, suggesting positive interactions with these individuals. The reviewer also mentions that while the park is "a bit unkempt," their initial interest was in renting an apartment within the community. However, the concerning part of this review arises from their experience with the qualification process. Despite having a reported credit score of 703 and a combined income of over $3,000 per month (while owning a mobile home in another park), they were deemed unqualified for an apartment. The reviewer expresses their disturbance at this outcome, questioning who is allowed to reside in the park. This experience prevented them from securing a "cozy apt." as a getaway from their HOA issues. This review underscores the importance of understanding the qualification criteria for residency, whether for a mobile home space or an apartment, if that is an option within the park.
While the reviews provide some insight into the management's helpfulness and the general cleanliness and quietness of the park, there is a lack of specific information regarding services and features relevant to RVs. If Sunset Resort MHP does accommodate RVs, potential residents would need to inquire about the availability and type of RV spaces, the amperage of electrical hookups, water and sewage connections, and any other amenities such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or recreational areas that might be available.
The mention of seeking an "apartment" in one of the reviews suggests that Sunset Resort MHP might offer more than just mobile home spaces; it could potentially have apartment rentals within the community. This could be relevant for individuals who might be considering a transition from RV living to a more permanent structure or for those who have guests who might need accommodation. However, the negative experience with the qualification process for the apartment highlights the need for clear information on eligibility requirements.
Given that one reviewer found the park to be "a bit unkempt" while another described it as "well maintained," there might be varying perceptions or perhaps inconsistencies in the upkeep of different areas of the park. A visit to the property could help prospective residents form their own assessment of the overall environment and maintenance standards.
For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Sunset Resort MHP, it is crucial to directly contact the management to inquire about their policies on RVs, the availability of suitable spaces, the amenities provided for RV residents, and the application process and qualification criteria. Understanding these aspects will be essential in determining if Sunset Resort MHP meets the needs and preferences of an RV lifestyle.
The positive feedback regarding the helpfulness of the manager Teresa and assistant manager Violeta is a significant point in favor of Sunset Resort MHP. Good management can often contribute to a positive living experience and efficient resolution of any issues that may arise. However, the negative experience with the qualification process for an apartment raises questions about the overall policies and who is eligible to reside within the community.
In conclusion, Sunset Resort MHP in Mesa, Arizona, appears to be a mobile home park with some positive attributes, particularly regarding the helpfulness and maintenance efforts of the management team. The park is also described as clean and quiet by one resident. However, the experience of another individual who was surprisingly denied an apartment despite a good credit score and income highlights the importance of understanding the qualification requirements for residency. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is recommended to contact Sunset Resort MHP directly to inquire about their RV accommodations, amenities, and residency requirements to determine if it is a suitable option for their needs.

Apr 27, 2025 · ChanaMixed feelings - Antonia, Teresa & maintenance guy nice (great 5 star - people left to do a hard job). park is a bit unkempt but we were looking for apartment. Now with a 703 credit score, and combined income over $3,000 a month (we own our own mobile home in another park) we did not qualify??? Really - so that is disturbing to who is allowed in or not. We were looking forward to a cozy apt. to get away from our crazy HOA new mgr, but it is not to be. Don't know what more we could have done or been asked for.

Jan 29, 2019 · Carrie BowanWonderful family park. Great people live here! Friendly staff in the office.
Dec 18, 2024 · Nicki SnyderWorried about calling? Don't be! They haven't answered the phone for me or my husband in 3yrs! Feel like you'll be discriminated against and completely treated like garbage? You definately will! Ready to be threatened by office management when you try to call with a valid complaint of sewage in the street or no power/water for days due to the park constantly stealing parts from other units to fix their water meters or electrical posts? Then this is the right place for you! Ready to be racially targeted and personally targeted by management because they just want to move in people who can't defend themselves? Don't worry, they do all of the above! Gone are the days without about 30 feral cats and dogs running around constantly. Gone are the says od your neighbors driving at a reason speed through the park! Don't even bother counting your cars, because per your contract they said you could only have two or they'd evict you, some people have 7! Interested in the pool? You got a letter last year saying it's permanently closed to you, but it's still open if you're a friend of management!Lived here since 2020. Watched about 4 managers come and go. Each worst than the last. Haven't had a phone call answered in 2yrs just to finally have one answered today to be told "I don't speak English, call tomorrow". Then I got hung up on. Don't worry, we've only had a main water line be broken in the back for 3 months with it completely flooding the area the entire time. The one time we went up to the office, the manager Teresa said I was threatening her with my presence. Wanna know why we went up? The power box to our home blew up. We were without power for 3 days. But don't worry, they finally got to it after I told her how illegal it was and cited the laws. Per Teresa we were being selfish by demanding they fix the box. So they fixed the box by stealing another box from an abandoned unit.Sewage in the road? Not the parks problem.Lost rent checks which turns out was one of the manager money laundering? Not the parks problem. Tree fall onto your home due to the parks refusal to keep up with their own palm trees? Don't worry, the park will send men to smoke pot on your roof at 7am one day and actually stomp across your roof to half cut it down. Don't worry, the tree is still there.I bet if we were late on rent by a day, they'd be pounding on the door with an eviction notice. But I can't get them to answer the phone in a few years for issues they're legally required to address. ✨️✨️🥰Edit: they answered the phone today 2/20/24 and the manager continued to tell me on the phone that they've never gotten a voicemail, that I'm being aggressive and hostile, and that if we ever want to speak to her again that we'll have to go through her attorney. But don't worry, she'll consider sending someone out to fix the water line. Shout out to you Teresa! You really know how to make a long term resident feel valued!
