Allentown Mobile Home Park Introduce
Welcome to Allentown Mobile Home Park, located at 4912 Raleigh Millington Rd, Memphis, TN 38128, USA. While categorized under the platform of "RV parks near me," it is crucial to understand that Allentown Mobile Home Park primarily functions as a residential community for individuals and families who own or rent mobile homes on leased land. Although some mobile home parks may offer temporary RV accommodations, the focus here is on introducing Allentown as a long-term living environment based on the available resident reviews.
The feedback from residents of Allentown Mobile Home Park paints a generally positive picture of the community and its management. One review from a former resident who lived there for three years indicates an overall "good experience." They acknowledge that issues can arise in any living situation but emphasize that any problems they encountered were consistently addressed and resolved. This suggests a responsive management team that takes resident concerns seriously and works to maintain the community's well-being.
Further underscoring the positive living experience, another reviewer expresses a desire to move back to Allentown Mobile Home Park. A significant reason for this desire is the feeling of safety it provided, particularly for allowing children to play outside. This highlights a key aspect of the community's environment – a perceived sense of security that fosters a family-friendly atmosphere. This is a valuable attribute for families with young children looking for a safe place to reside.
The name "Gail" is specifically mentioned in one review, with the resident stating that Gail is "always so great" and helpful in getting their needs addressed. This personal acknowledgment suggests that a specific member of the management or staff is particularly effective and appreciated by the residents. Such positive interactions with management can significantly enhance the overall living experience and contribute to resident satisfaction.
Another detailed review provides a more nuanced perspective. While acknowledging a shortcoming in communication – specifically regarding the lack of returned phone calls and infrequent email responses from the office employees – the reviewer ultimately describes Allentown as a "well run community" and expresses overall happiness living there. They even go so far as to recommend it to family and friends, indicating a high level of satisfaction despite the communication issue. This suggests that while there might be areas for improvement in administrative communication, the fundamental aspects of the community and its management are strong.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Allentown Mobile Home Park appears to be characterized by a sense of community, safety, and a generally well-maintained setting. The residents' comments suggest that it is a place where people feel secure and where management is responsive to their needs, even if communication could be more consistent. The fact that former residents hope to return speaks volumes about the positive aspects of living in the park.
In terms of services and features, the reviews primarily focus on the management's responsiveness and the overall living environment. While specific amenities are not explicitly listed, the positive experiences suggest that essential services are in place and functioning effectively. These would typically include well-maintained grounds, potentially basic infrastructure like roads and lighting, and the availability of hookups for the mobile homes (electricity, water, sewer). The mention of issues being "fixed" implies that the park has a system for addressing maintenance and repair needs.
Given the emphasis on safety and community, Allentown Mobile Home Park likely fosters a neighborly environment where residents feel comfortable and connected. The ability to let children play outside safely suggests open spaces and a general sense of security within the park's boundaries.
As Allentown Mobile Home Park is primarily a long-term residential community, promotional information in the traditional sense of short-term RV parks might not be applicable. However, the positive reviews themselves act as a form of promotion, highlighting the benefits of living in the park, such as the feeling of safety, responsive management, and a well-run environment. For local users in Memphis, TN, considering a move to a mobile home community, these testimonials offer valuable insights into the quality of life at Allentown Mobile Home Park.
For those in the Memphis area searching under "RV parks near me" who might be considering a longer-term stay or are open to the idea of mobile home living, Allentown Mobile Home Park warrants investigation. While it may not offer the typical short-term amenities of an RV park, the strong sense of community and positive resident experiences could be appealing for those seeking a more permanent or extended residential option for their mobile home.
To gain a clearer understanding of whether Allentown Mobile Home Park might suit their needs, interested individuals should contact the park directly using the provided phone number. Inquiries should focus on the availability of lots, the requirements for residency (owning or renting a mobile home), the associated costs (lot rental, utilities), and any specific rules or regulations of the community. While short-term RV stays might not be the primary focus, it is worth inquiring if such options exist and what amenities are provided.
In conclusion, Allentown Mobile Home Park in Memphis, TN, appears to be a well-regarded residential community characterized by a sense of safety, responsive management, and a positive living environment, as indicated by resident reviews. Allentown Mobile Home Park Reviews
We lived here for 3 years and had a good experience. No matter where you go you will always have some issues but we never had an issue that wasn’t fixed! We are actually hoping to move back because we miss being there where I felt safe to let my child play outside.Gail is always so great to us and helps us get what we need taken care of!!
Mar 26, 2025 · Marina MaherI never receive a return call when I need a question answered, and I rarely receive responses to my emails. Allentown office employees could do better in this respect. Other than that, Allentown is a well run community, and I tell my family and friends about what a great place it is to live. I am very happy here.
Apr 11, 2025 · Carol WilkinsWhere to even begin. Man oh man. In July our shower cracked on the bottom and water was flooding into our closet so we had to stop using it. You could tell it had already been previously repaired in the spot it cracked as well. A maintenance worker came and said the whole shower needed to be replaced. He patched it for the time being and his words were “alright we got it ordered, it will take 2-3 weeks to come in.” Well, a month went by so I called the office and was told they were actually not sure it was ordered and would get back to me. A week after this, I received a text from one of the ladies working in the office, to send pictures of my shower so that they could order the new shower. I did. 2 MORE MONTHS WENT BY so I called the office again, and of course the lady I spoke too had a slight attitude like she was bothered I was asking(one is always very sweet and one always has a tone like she knows she can’t straight up have an attitude but she wants to), and she said it takes a while for them to come in but they would reach out. A few weeks later another maintenance worker shows up at my house saying he was told to come check out the leak in our shower. Like, WHAT???? So I went around the world explaining the situation to him and he shows back up with what I am assuming is someone over my whole community, this guy apologized and said it was a misunderstanding and the shower would for sure be in next Wednesday. Yet ANOTHER month goes by and yet ANOTHER maintenance worker shows up at my house to “look at the crack in the shower.” At this point, I just started laughing. He looked confused so I explained the situation. He said he was so sorry but he was told to just come repair it because he has a new way of doing it. So after almost 6 months, you guessed it, we are NOT getting the new shower. We also have not tried using the shower because it’s probably just going to crack again. This place is shit because they can’t follow through with anything they say. We moved from one house to another supposedly “bigger” house to have more room for our family and literally had to put in over 15 maintenance orders within the first week..fix things BEFORE you put ppl in houses. Then it was infested with huge roaches, which WE took care of. It was dirty and stinky even though they claim they have a lady that cleans before you move in, so WE took care of that too. I cleaned literally everything including the vents because they were full of dog feces and hair, all while I was 7 months pregnant. Had to mop and clean the walls 3 times. There’s much more to list but this is long as hell already. Yeah, you don’t wanna move here unless you are fine with doing everything yourself and waiting months for things to happen.
