The features of Amberly Pointe Mobile Home Park, as perceived through the lens of the customer feedback available, present a mixed perspective. One reviewer expresses a highly negative experience, advising against moving to Amberly Pointe due to alleged harassment through fees, high lot rents with nothing included, and a practice of pushing out residents who own older trailers, followed by eviction, trespassing, and alleged theft and resale of the trailers. This reviewer uses strong terms like "greedy slumlords" and calls for the park to be shut down, indicating significant dissatisfaction with their experience.
In contrast, another reviewer provides a very positive account, stating they have lived in the park for a total of seven years (with a temporary move in between) and have had positive dealings with the management, specifically mentioning June and Sherri as kind, helpful, and professional. This reviewer notes that the park itself is "very nice" with well-kept homes and friendly residents. They also highlight the responsible pet ownership (dogs on leashes, no excessive waste), the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the presence of children, suggesting a family-friendly environment. This reviewer also disputes the notion of high lot rents, suggesting comparison with other parks, and denies surprise fees, acknowledging that minimal fee increases are expected due to rising costs for the park itself. They also emphasize that residents own their homes, not rent them. This reviewer concludes by expressing love for living at Amberly Pointe, considering it the nicest place within a 100-mile radius for mobile home living, and praises the staff for keeping the park looking great. They also explicitly state that photos in another (unspecified) post are not representative of the park's current clean and neat condition, mentioning new homes and construction within the community.
Given these contrasting reviews, local users exploring "rv parks near me" and considering Amberly Pointe Mobile Home Park for an extended stay should approach with a balanced perspective and seek further information. The stark difference in experiences suggests that individual circumstances and interactions with management might vary significantly. The positive review highlights a well-maintained community with a friendly atmosphere and responsive management, while the negative review paints a picture of financial harassment and unfair practices. It is crucial for prospective residents to attempt direct communication with the park management to understand their policies and procedures, especially regarding long-term RV stays, fees, and resident rights.
Potential positive features, as suggested by the positive review, include a nice and clean park environment, friendly residents, responsible pet owners, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and helpful and professional management. The ongoing new construction and presence of new homes could also indicate a community that is being invested in and is attracting new residents. However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding financial practices and treatment of residents cannot be ignored and warrant careful consideration and investigation by potential residents.
Regarding promotional information, the provided text does not contain any specific details about special offers, discounts, or incentives that Amberly Pointe Mobile Home Park might be offering to attract residents, including RV owners seeking long-term stays. One former resident reports significant negative experiences with fees, management practices, and alleged unfair treatment, while another current resident describes a very positive living environment with kind management, a clean park, and a friendly atmosphere. These contrasting views underscore the importance of conducting thorough personal due diligence. Prospective residents, especially those considering long-term RV stays, should contact the park management directly at (812) 752-1111 or +1 812-752-1111 to inquire about their RV policies, fees, amenities, and to get a direct understanding of the community and management approach. Amberly Pointe Mobile Home Park Reviews
If you're looking for a community to move to to feel like you're grounded and stable do not I repeat do not move to amberly point . I lived there for almost three years..from the get go I was harassed by getting charges for this and for that, they are very petty and charge outrageous lot rents and nothing is included. They sale older trailers for a cheap price and then harass you until you are finally push out by eviction. If you are like me and owned your trailer then you get evicted from the lot, they trespass you and then steal your trailer by saying you abandoned it and then they resell. They are greedy slumlords and need to be shut down
May 15, 2023 · Gina MeansIdk what those photos are. My Mother and I just bought new champion homes and moved them in here. And let me say I lived here for seven years previously to this move. June and Sherri have been nothing but kind helpful and professional in all of their dealings with us. They literally used their own resources to help with an issue that I knew about when I purchased the home but Champion was very slow to fix.The park itself is very nice. Homes kept up. So far everyone I've spoken to are nice and friendly. Lots of people have dogs here but there aren't piles of dog poo everywhere and I've never seen a dog off a leash. It's quiet and peaceful here and lots of kids.If anyone think the lot rent is high here they should check other places lol. And the condition of other mobile home parks. And we have not been hit with any surprise fees plus every mobile home park raises fees minimally. They have to pay more so do we. Amd.we own our homes not rent. That's the way the world works.Would just like to say I love living here now loved it before and it's the nicest place in a 100 mile radius to live in a mobile home park. The staff is super and keep the place.looking great! Those photos in another post are not representative of what it looks like here. There is one abandoned home and it doesn't look like that. The whole park is clean and neat. Lots of new homes going up and new construction. It's a nice place to live.

Mar 12, 2025 · Kathy SmithI absolutely love Amberly pointe ! I moved here in October of 2024 with my fiancé and 2 kids and haven’t had any issues since. June is a very hardworking and caring landlord , she is by far my favorite out of all of my landlord experience . My home is beautiful and they have made sure to make me feel welcome and happy with my home . She is truly doing so much to make this a beautiful community , I’m so thankful for everything june has done to make it happen.
Nov 22, 2024 · Reahonna PhillipsNot even 1 star. Managers so rude and disrespectful. Been here for 7 years or more and they change managers all the time and the new one even hung up on me multiple times. They have raised rent every year charge outragious late fees thats right fees not one but multiple. Someone I know had gotten approve for the emergency reflief from State of Indiana and they refused to take it. SMH such rude and disrepectful people. They have no care or respect for the people who pay them. When you buy from then you cant move trailer and it took them over 2 yrs to even get me my title.
