Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park Introduce
For local residents and travelers seeking "RV parks near me" in the scenic Ashland, Oregon area, Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park, located at 5310 OR-66 #18, Ashland, OR 97520, presents an option that garners mixed but informative feedback from its visitors. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the campground and RV park based on the available reviews, encompassing its environment, services, features, and highlighting both its strengths and areas where experiences may vary.
The environment of Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park is implied to be near a creek, given its name. This suggests a potentially natural and possibly tranquil setting, which could be appealing to those looking for a respite in nature. However, one reviewer mentioned seeking "Peaceful tranquility" and encountering a different reality due to the behavior of some long-term residents and their pets. This highlights the importance of considering the overall atmosphere, which can be influenced by the mix of short-term and long-term guests.
In terms of services and features, the reviews offer contrasting perspectives. One guest lauded a "super amazing host" upon initial check-in, indicating the potential for positive and accommodating service. This positive interaction, however, was juxtaposed with a subsequent negative experience with a "female host" during a second booking, which involved a lack of attention to detail regarding change. This inconsistency in service is a point to note for prospective visitors. On a more positive note, another reviewer described both the staff and neighbors as "very friendly" and highlighted their responsiveness by stating, "When we had a problem they were Johnny on the spot to fix it." This suggests that while there may be inconsistencies, there are also instances of helpful and attentive service.
The physical facilities at Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park received some positive remarks. One reviewer specifically mentioned that "The showers and restrooms were very nice," which is an important aspect for the comfort and convenience of campers and RVers. The availability and quality of these basic amenities can significantly impact the overall experience of staying at a campground or RV park.
One notable feature mentioned in a review is the affordability of the park, with one guest stating it was "Very inexpensive." This could be a significant draw for budget-conscious travelers looking for "RV parks near me" that offer value for money in the Ashland area. However, it's important to balance the cost with other factors such as the quality of the environment and the consistency of services.
The reviews also raise some concerns regarding the behavior and management of the park's environment. One reviewer detailed issues with "very large untrained dogs that tried to attack us" belonging to long-term RV guests. This is a serious safety concern and highlights the importance of clear and consistently enforced pet policies within the campground. The same reviewer also mentioned a "guy that does not stop driving around on and electric skateboard at full speed ALL DAY," which disrupted the peace and tranquility they were seeking. These issues suggest potential challenges in maintaining a harmonious environment for all guests, particularly when there is a mix of short-term and long-term residents.
The reviewer who experienced these disturbances described the atmosphere as "Kind of ghetto," which is a strong and negative assessment. This perspective contrasts with the other reviewer's experience of friendly staff and neighbors. These differing viewpoints underscore the potential for variability in guest experiences at Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park.
Given the information available, it is difficult to ascertain specific promotional information or long-term strategies of the park. Potential visitors are advised to contact Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park directly at (541) 488-1785 or +1 541-488-1785 to inquire about current rates, availability, pet policies, rules regarding guest behavior, and any ongoing promotions or discounts. It would also be prudent to ask about the management's approach to ensuring a safe and peaceful environment for all guests.
In conclusion, Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park offers an affordable option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Ashland, Oregon, with some positive feedback regarding friendly service in certain instances and nice basic facilities like showers and restrooms. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in service and the potential for disturbances from other guests and their pets. It is recommended to contact the park directly to gain a clearer understanding of the current environment and policies before making a reservation. While the park may offer a budget-friendly stay, it's crucial to weigh this against the potential for a less than tranquil experience based on the available reviews.

Ashland's Creekside Campground and RV Park Reviews
First checked in with a super amazing host that accommodates me with availabilities… then I try to book a second night and I dealt with the female host that took my cash and shut the door on me and didn’t even bothering mentioning my change. Long time local, First time Visitee here. Very strange. Inconsistent and the RV guests next door that have been here for awhile have very large untrained dogs that tried to attack us then there is another guy that does not stop driving around on and electric skateboard at full speed ALL DAY the past 2 days I’ve been here. Peaceful tranquility was what I was seeking and instead got long term RV camp residents that seem to think they own the place. Kind of ghetto.
Mar 30, 2025 · Rose WoodfinchA little tired but everyone there was very friendly both the staff and the neighbors. When we had a problem they were Johnny on the spot to fix it. The showers and restrooms were very nice. Very inexpensive.
Apr 16, 2025 · JuneRight across the street from lake emigrant. Gorgeous creek runs thru the whole campground. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I’ve been here 6 months and absolutely love it. The only complaint is the sketchy internet
Apr 15, 2025 · J TurigliattoWe had to stay here because our truck broke down while traveling through. The service was wonderful! Loved the little store. Enjoyed the dog run that was right across from my site. The campground is a little messy but the people running it made up for it! They didn't even charge us for checking out super late!!! Thank you 😊
Nov 01, 2024 · Cheryl NeumanI was very disappointed with our stay at Ashland Creekside.Disclaimer: I hate posting bad reviews and do so very rarely (usually when my concerns were not rectified by the service provider). The service we encountered from one of the front desk staff was atrocious.During late night check-in our information package incorrectly put us in a site that had been booked by some one else. We figured out a solution with the other folks at the adjacent site. The next day we informed the front desk person of the scenario and were assured that all was fine.I returned to the office before closing to inquire about extending our reservation for an additional night. The front desk person told me that he had had to do a lot of fixing up of the other bookings due to my mistake of going into the wrong site. I respectfully explained that our information package had directed us to that site and that the error was not ours. He gave me an incredulous look and hastily and disingenuously apologized. In that moment the demeanor and tone of this individual insinuated I was a liar. This is the primary reason I would not recommend anyone stay here.In addition the state of the facilities does not match the flashy webpage. The bathrooms were renovated at some point, but basically were lipstick on a pig. The RV sites were over grown with vegetation and looked like they had seen better days a decade ago.In addition this RV park is more of a long term residence vs a vacation park, which is fine. It appeared dumpy when you drive into it. The residents at this park deserve better. To top it all off, we left early on our departure day and went to the Sani-Dump on the way out. The sani dump was locked. Beware if you want to dump outside of office hours (10-5). You won’t be able to dump. Take your shit somewhere else.If you have any choice, go anywhere else.
