Reviews highlight its cleanliness, family-friendly amenities, and overall pleasant atmosphere. Real customers have described it as a "great campground" and specifically praised the cleanliness of the facilities and the presence of a nice playground for children. Let's delve into what makes Bandy Creek Campground a wonderful option for your next local camping adventure.
Bandy Creek Campground is situated in Oneida, Tennessee, an area known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities. While the reviews don't extensively detail the surrounding natural landscape, they do emphasize the cleanliness of the campground itself. One reviewer was so impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms that they humorously noted seeing someone doing yoga inside! This speaks volumes about the upkeep and care taken at Bandy Creek Campground. The presence of a "nice playground for the kids" further suggests a family-oriented environment where children can play and enjoy the outdoors within the campground.
The mention of "a few hairpin turns on the way to the campground" is a practical piece of information for those planning their route, especially if traveling with larger vehicles or trailers. This suggests that the campground might be nestled in a more mountainous or winding area, potentially offering scenic drives leading to your camping destination. The overall impression is that Bandy Creek Campground provides a clean and welcoming environment, particularly well-suited for families.
The standout service mentioned in the reviews is the exceptional cleanliness of the facilities. The bathrooms were reportedly "cleaned daily," contributing to a comfortable and hygienic camping experience. This is often a top priority for many campers, and the positive feedback in this area indicates that Bandy Creek Campground excels in maintaining its restrooms. The availability of a "nice playground for the kids" is another significant amenity, providing a dedicated space for children to have fun and stay active during the camping trip.
For those traveling with RVs, it's noted that the "RV sites are level but on the small side." This is important information for RVers to consider regarding the size of their rig and the space available at the sites. While level sites are a definite plus for easy setup, the smaller size might influence site selection. The lack of negative comments about other essential amenities suggests that basic needs are likely met, though specific details like water hookups, electrical connections, or other recreational facilities (besides the playground) are not mentioned in these reviews.
- Very Clean Bathrooms: Maintained daily to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Nice Playground for Kids: Provides a fun and safe area for children to play.
- Level RV Sites: Offers ease of setup for RV campers, though they are noted as being on the smaller side.

Apr 14, 2025 · GregWe really enjoyed our stay in the campground. It was the perfect place to stay so we could take our time exploring the area. Site #D26
Mar 17, 2025 · Tona MorganVery beautiful environment. Came in late October, beautiful colors, lots of walk paths, good bathrooms with sufficiently warm showers, DISH WASHING STATIONS on EVERY BATH HOUSE! Came with my girl our dogs and her older family (70s+) and everyone is happy
Oct 24, 2024 · Tristen PlummerThis is a beautiful campground with options for everyone. We took our camper and stayed on the non-electric side (loop A). I recommend the spur on Loop A, sites 7-10 as they are a little more secluded and much less traffic driving past your site. There are tons of hiking and mountain biking options right from the camp and dozens more if you will take a short drive. This one gets an A+
