Aurora Acres RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for “RV parks near me” in the Aurora, Oregon area, Aurora Acres RV Park, located at 21599 Dolores Way NE, Aurora, OR 97002, is one option to consider. You can reach them at (503) 855-0664 or +1 503-855-0664 for inquiries. Based on recent feedback from residents, it's important to have a comprehensive understanding of what this park offers.
The environment of Aurora Acres RV Park appears to be a point of mixed experiences. While some residents have stayed for extended periods, indicating a level of initial satisfaction, recent reviews suggest a decline in the overall quality of the park. One long-term resident mentioned that while they have been there for a few years, the park has experienced “ups and downs.” This suggests potential inconsistencies in the upkeep and management over time, which is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of when considering this location among other “RV parks near me.”
Regarding services and amenities, the feedback indicates some areas of concern. A significant issue raised by a long-term resident is the consistent breakdown of essential facilities. They specifically mentioned that “2 washers and 2 dryers have been broken the entire time.” This lack of functioning laundry facilities can be a major inconvenience for both short-term and long-term RVers, especially those who rely on on-site amenities. While the same reviewer noted that “new lighting is great,” this positive aspect seems to be overshadowed by other maintenance issues.
Another amenity that has reportedly been unreliable is the pool. According to the review, the pool has “never been open on time, or for a full season.” The limited availability of recreational facilities can detract from the overall experience of staying at an RV park, particularly during warmer months when such amenities are most desired. This inconsistency in the operation of the pool is another factor to weigh when comparing Aurora Acres with other “RV parks near me.”
The water situation at Aurora Acres RV Park seems to have improved recently. The long-term resident noted that the “water situation is now better, instead of no water and boil notices every other week.” While this indicates a positive development, the fact that water issues were a recurring problem in the past might still be a concern for some. Consistent and reliable access to water is a fundamental requirement for any RV park, and past inconsistencies could suggest potential infrastructure vulnerabilities.
A recent policy change at Aurora Acres RV Park involves lawn maintenance. The newest update mentioned in the review is that “ALL spots must take care of the lawns, regardless of the season. Mowing, raking.” This policy places the responsibility of maintaining the individual RV sites' lawns on the residents. While some RV parks might have similar requirements, it's essential for prospective residents to be aware of this expectation, as it adds to their responsibilities and potential costs (for lawn care equipment or services). This is a feature that differentiates Aurora Acres from some other “RV parks near me” where lawn care might be included in the site fees.
In terms of the community atmosphere, reviews present a mixed picture. One resident mentioned, “There are some very nice residents, and some not so great.” This suggests that while there is potential for positive neighborly interactions, there might also be challenges with certain individuals within the park. Another reviewer was more critical, stating that “the permanent residents are some of the trashiest most inconsiderate humans I’ve ever been around.” Such strong negative feedback regarding the behavior of some permanent residents is a significant concern and could impact the overall living experience for new arrivals, both short-term and long-term.
The management of Aurora Acres RV Park has also been a point of criticism in the provided reviews. One reviewer recounted an unhelpful interaction with the manager when trying to address concerns about inconsiderate permanent residents. The requirement to “Come in and write a complaint form” despite the reviewer’s work schedule and the initial email contact suggests a lack of flexibility and potentially ineffective communication from the management. This perception of unresponsiveness could be a crucial factor for those seeking “RV parks near me” with attentive and accessible management.
Considering the information available, Aurora Acres RV Park presents a complex picture. While it may offer a location in the Aurora, Oregon area for RVers, potential residents should be aware of the reported issues with broken laundry facilities, inconsistent pool operation, past water problems, the requirement for individual lawn maintenance, and concerns regarding some permanent residents and management responsiveness. These are all critical factors to consider when comparing Aurora Acres to other “RV parks near me.”
There is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Therefore, it is highly recommended that interested individuals contact Aurora Acres RV Park directly at (503) 855-0664 or +1 503-855-0664 to inquire about current rates, availability, specific services offered, and any ongoing promotions. It would also be prudent to ask detailed questions about the maintenance of amenities, park rules, and management policies based on the concerns raised in the recent feedback.
In conclusion, while Aurora Acres RV Park is located in Aurora, Oregon, and caters to the “RV parks near me” category, prospective residents should carefully consider the recent feedback from current and past residents. The reports of declining amenities, management issues, and concerns about some permanent residents suggest that thorough due diligence is necessary before making a decision. It is advisable to visit the park in person, if possible, and speak directly with management and current residents to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions and overall environment at Aurora Acres RV Park.

Apr 15, 2025 · bust erI’ve lived and traveled for work in my rv for years and been to a lot of parks. That said, somewhat ok of a park but not managed the best and the permanent residents are some of the trashiest most inconsiderate humans I’ve ever been around.I tried emailing the manager about it and they were not helpful at all. “Come in and write a complaint form”……… ummm that’s why I’m emailing you….i work construction 10 hours a day and the management isn’t there when I’m off.I’ve attached the emails
Mar 03, 2025 · Aaron GalipeauI was very disappointed with my stay, I was here for 3 months and during my stay we had water interruptions at least twice a week and mostly at inconvenient times. The power was another issue, the park is wired incorrectly and when I pop a breaker at the post on my site it takes out the power to three other campers down the line from me, I never checked but not sure how that works when each site is metered and we pay for our own electric. Shortly after we moved into our site the campground became infested with cockroaches, we along with several other campers complained and the managements remedy was to spray the office and the restrooms. The dumpsters were overflowing each week and the one across the street from my campsite was infested with roaches as well. After several complaints the manager decided to spray around every site, by then it was too late and the roaches had moved into our campers. With all the hassles we’ve had, I asked for compensation on our rent and was turn down. I’ve threw away 2 camp mats and spent plenty on money on roach spray, this is a problem I will have for several weeks after I moved from this campground. The manager does not understand that the people who live in this campground, this is their home, and buy their neglect they allowed our homes to be infested. to top it all off I still am not sure if I paid for my electric only or helped the three other units down the line.We did however meet some great people while we were here and have made friends for life!
Oct 22, 2024 · Tim MccafferyMy partner and I lived here for two years. We can honestly say that it wasn’t great to begin with, but it was dreadful when we left. The management is difficult to work with, and if you’re not in the clique of residents you are treated subpar. The garbage cans are constantly overfilled and residents will follow you to the trash to see what you leave behind. The roads were full of potholes and when they did try and fill them it was only a very temporary repair. Please don’t take this as a critique on the repair man, because he was the only highlight of our stay.If you do decide to stay, especially long term do not stay under the trees because they do not keep them well trimmed. A branch fell on my car totaling it, when it was brought up several times that it could be a hazard.I’m making post now because I saw the rent price, and frankly with all of the downsides and being right next to the highway, it is not worth it.
Nov 26, 2024 · Alysa WaltonThis is such a cute community! The onsite team is excellent, you won't find a better long term RV community in the area! The new Community Leader is wonderful and the team has made lots of upgrades to the landscaping lately.
