For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Batise Springs offers a convenient option with a range of services and features for both overnight stays and potentially longer visits. You can reach them by phone at (208) 241-0506 or via mobile at +1 208-241-0506 to inquire about availability and any current promotions.
Based on recent customer reviews, Batise Springs RV Park presents a mixed but generally positive experience for travelers. One reviewer describes the park as "quaint" and highlights several positive aspects. The park offers "all hookups," indicating that RVers can expect connections for water, electricity, and sewer at their sites. The availability of Wi-Fi is also noted as a significant convenience for guests looking to stay connected. Furthermore, the reviewer praised the cleanliness and sanitary condition of the washrooms, which is a crucial factor for comfort and hygiene during travel. The easy access from Interstate 15 is another significant advantage, making it a convenient stop for those passing through or exploring the Pocatello area.
The same reviewer mentions that the sites are gravel and situated on a slight angle. While this might require some effort to level an RV unit, the reviewer assures that it is manageable. This suggests that while the terrain might not be perfectly flat, it is not a significant deterrent. Overall, this reviewer indicates a positive experience, stating they "will stay again and recommend for overnight or longer," and commends the management for being "very polite and friendly," highlighting a positive aspect of the customer service.
Another reviewer provides a slightly more nuanced perspective. They note that the park is "well manicured with paved sites," which contrasts with the gravel sites mentioned by the first reviewer. This discrepancy might indicate different types of sites within the park or a recent upgrade. The well-manicured aspect suggests that the park management takes pride in the appearance and upkeep of the grounds, contributing to a pleasant environment for guests.
However, this second reviewer points out a somewhat unusual location, being situated next to a storage facility and across the freeway from a "huge chemical plant." While the proximity to a storage facility might not directly impact the RV park experience, the presence of a chemical plant across the freeway raises potential concerns about air quality. The reviewer mentions smelling something "strange in the air" at night, which could be a factor for sensitive individuals. It is important for potential guests to consider this location aspect when making their decision.
The most significant complaint from the second reviewer is the nighttime operation of sprinklers that spray parked RVs, leading to water spots. While the reviewer acknowledges that this might not bother everyone, their personal "OCD" made it a significant issue. It is positive to note that when they requested the sprinklers be stopped on their last night, the management complied. This indicates a willingness to address guest concerns, even if the initial practice might be inconvenient for some. Despite this issue, the reviewer states, "Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here," suggesting that the other positive aspects of the park outweighed this particular inconvenience.
Considering the "RV parks near me" category, Batise Springs RV Park offers several features that would appeal to travelers. The full hookups are essential for many RVers, providing the necessary utilities for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi access is a valuable amenity in today's connected world. Clean and sanitary washrooms are a basic expectation that Batise Springs reportedly meets. The easy access from a major interstate like I-15 is a significant advantage for those on the road.
While no specific promotional information is provided in the reviews, the positive comments about the polite and friendly management suggest a welcoming atmosphere. Potential guests might want to inquire about any loyalty programs, discounts for longer stays, or seasonal offers when contacting the park directly.
To summarize the environment of Batise Springs RV Park based on the reviews: it is described as "quaint" and "well manicured," suggesting a pleasant and cared-for setting. However, the location next to a storage facility and across from a chemical plant are environmental factors to consider. The presence of gravel and paved sites might offer options for different preferences. The nighttime sprinkler system is a unique feature that could be a minor inconvenience for some.
In terms of services, Batise Springs offers full hookups (water, electricity, sewer) and Wi-Fi. The availability of clean and sanitary washrooms is also a significant service. The management is reported to be polite, friendly, and responsive to guest requests, as evidenced by their willingness to stop the sprinklers. While not explicitly mentioned, typical RV parks also offer basic amenities like trash disposal and potentially laundry facilities (though this is not confirmed in the provided reviews).
Key features of Batise Springs RV Park include its easy access from I-15, making it a convenient stop for travelers. The availability of both gravel and potentially paved sites offers some variety. The full hookups cater to the needs of most RVs. The Wi-Fi allows guests to stay connected. The positive remarks about the management suggest a well-run and guest-oriented park.
To get the most up-to-date information on any promotional offers, site availability, specific amenities (like laundry), and to address any concerns about the location or sprinkler system, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should contact Batise Springs RV Park directly at (208) 241-0506 or +1 208-241-0506. In conclusion, Batise Springs RV Park in Pocatello, ID, offers a convenient location with easy access to I-15, full hookups, and clean facilities. Batise Springs RV Park Reviews
Quaint Park. All hookups with wifi. Washrooms were clean and sanitary. Easy access from I-15. Sites are gravel and on a slight angle but easy to level unit. Will stay again and recommend for overnight or longer. Management very polite and friendly.
Sep 25, 2024 · Johnny K GuyThe park is well manicured with paved sites. The location is a little strange. Right next to a storage facility and also there is a huge chemical plant across the freeway. At night I could smell something strange in the air. My only complaint about the park is they run sprinklers that spray your RV at night. Lots of water spots all over my class A. Might not bother most people but I’m a little OCD. We did ask to have it stopped our last night and they did. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here.
Sep 15, 2024 · Bill CooperWe enjoyed our stay at this clean and quiet park. The hookups were conveniently located for our set-up.We appreciated the clean, economical laundry. The park is conveniently located to the town which has a nice farmer’s market on Saturday mornings. We would stay here again.
Jul 08, 2024 · Diane MoneganWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this RV park during our recent event in Pocatello. The park has nine long spots that can accommodate larger motorhomes with tows, although you’ll need to be cautious as you will run over some grass while maneuvering in and out of your spot if you're long and towing (we're about 60' total). The spots are all concrete, making it easy to level the RV. We were fortunate enough to have a creek view spot, which offered an amazing and relaxing view. We saw the creek below, spotted a beaver, and witnessed a beautiful sunset.Alyssa, the attendant we communicated with, was exceptionally nice and helpful both during the booking process over the phone and when we arrived. The owner was also very kind and accommodating, especially when we needed a late checkout due to some last-minute changes in our event plans. Overall, we would definitely love to stay here again on any future trips in or passing through Pocatello.
Aug 28, 2024 · Kat MHWhile this little park is clean and quiet and very secluded. It IS NOT set up for big rigs!!!! We have a 45' with toad ( on trailer) the site was too small, and we hung out at both ends. Not to mention the difficulty in getting in and out of the spot. It is a wonderful little park for setups under 40' total. It was represented to us as big rig friendly... not trueThe creek is only accessible by foot, not handicap friendly at all. From office to the creek.Girl behind the counter is how they got the 3rd star she was friendly and respectful. Hope the owner sees this and gives that girl a raise. She deserves it!Recommend 65% for small setups. Recommend 0% for rigs and setups over 40'
