Blackfoot RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Blackfoot, Idaho area, Blackfoot RV Park, located at 1150 S Broadway St, Blackfoot, ID 83221, USA, offers a smaller, potentially more intimate option for RV travelers. Based on the available customer reviews, the park presents a mixed picture, with positive feedback regarding the management and cleanliness, but concerns about the spacing between sites, particularly for larger RVs.
The environment of Blackfoot RV Park, based on the limited reviews, appears to be well-maintained. One reviewer specifically mentions that "the park does appear to be well maintained," indicating that the grounds are generally kept in good condition. This can contribute to a more pleasant and comfortable stay for visitors. Additionally, the presence of a "very nice" dog park is highlighted, making it an attractive option for RVers traveling with pets. A well-maintained dog park provides a dedicated and enjoyable space for pets to exercise and socialize, which is a significant amenity for many RV travelers.
In terms of services, the reviews provide limited specific details about the hookups available at Blackfoot RV Park. It can be generally assumed that RV parks offer standard water and electrical hookups. Sewer hookups are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, so it would be prudent for potential guests to inquire directly about the availability of full hookups if that is a requirement. The positive mention of clean bathrooms suggests that the park provides and maintains essential sanitary facilities for its guests.
The features of Blackfoot RV Park include its hospitable owner and the cleanliness of the grounds and facilities, including the dog area and bathrooms. One reviewer specifically praised the owner for being "very hospitable" towards them and their dog, even accommodating a late-night, last-minute request. This suggests a personal and accommodating approach to guest service, which can greatly enhance the overall experience of staying at an RV park. The presence of a nice dog park is another significant feature, catering to the needs of pet owners.
However, a notable concern raised by one reviewer is the tight spacing between the RV sites. They described a situation where the slide-out of a neighboring RV extended into their space, making it difficult to enter and exit their own RV. This suggests that the layout of the park might not be ideal for all sizes of RVs, and that the sites could be quite close together. The reviewer also expressed the opinion that the park is "really not a big rig friendly RV park." This is an important consideration for travelers with larger RVs, who may find maneuvering and setting up challenging, and the limited space could impact their comfort and accessibility.
The reviewer who experienced the tight spacing also noted that they believed the neighboring RVer intentionally extended their slide-out too far, taking up part of their site. They felt that the management should have addressed this issue by asking the neighboring RVer to move. The fact that this was not apparently handled proactively by the management, in this instance, could be a point of concern for some travelers who expect active enforcement of site boundaries to ensure adequate space and comfort.
Promotional information for Blackfoot RV Park, based on the positive aspects of the reviews, would focus on the hospitable owner, the cleanliness of the park and its facilities, and the nice dog park. These are clear strengths highlighted by the customers. The welcoming attitude of the owner, particularly in accommodating a late-night arrival, suggests a personal touch that can make guests feel valued. The emphasis on cleanliness across the grounds, bathrooms, and dog area indicates a commitment to maintaining a pleasant and hygienic environment for all visitors, including those with pets.
However, any promotional messaging would need to be balanced with the concern raised about the tight spacing between sites and the potential limitations for big rigs. It might be prudent for the park to provide clear information about site sizes and layouts on their website or during the reservation process to help travelers determine if the park is suitable for their RV. Highlighting the well-maintained nature of the park and the excellent service from the owner while acknowledging the spatial constraints could provide a more transparent and accurate representation.
For local users and those traveling through Blackfoot, ID, Blackfoot RV Park offers a smaller, possibly more personal, RV park experience with a hospitable owner and clean facilities, including a dedicated dog park. These are significant advantages, especially for pet owners who appreciate a well-maintained space for their animals. However, potential guests, particularly those with larger RVs, should be aware of the possibility of tight spacing between sites, which could impact maneuverability and the overall comfort of their stay. It would be advisable to inquire about site dimensions when making a reservation to ensure a suitable fit for their RV. The park might be particularly well-suited for smaller to medium-sized RVs and those who prioritize cleanliness and a welcoming owner.
In conclusion, Blackfoot RV Park in Blackfoot, ID, offers a clean and well-maintained environment with a hospitable owner and a notable amenity in its nice dog park. These positive aspects are significant draws for many RV travelers. However, the reported tight spacing between sites and potential limitations for big rigs are important considerations that prospective guests should be aware of. It is recommended to contact the park directly at (208) 994-9819 or +1 208-994-9819 to inquire about site sizes and availability, especially if traveling in a larger RV, to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay. For those with smaller RVs who value cleanliness and personal service, Blackfoot RV Park could be a good option.

Blackfoot RV Park Reviews
The sites were so close that the RV on the side of us had his slide over our side making it very difficult to get in and out of our door. I think this person purposely went a bit too far over our side knowing how tight the spot was giving himself more room. Management should have noticed this and made him move. It really is not a big rig friendly RV park. However the park does appear to be well maintained and the dog park was very nice.
Sep 30, 2022 · Jayne GervaisOwner was very hospitable towards myself and my dog, even with my late night last minute request. The grounds were clean, as were the bathrooms and dog area.
Aug 19, 2024 · D DubyaSpaces are way too tight. Also, not worth $63.60 per night for tight so-so accommodations in Blackfoot, ID. Gravel roads and sites. Fairly level. Nice dog park. Did not check out bathrooms, etc. Owner very nice and responsive when contacted about dog problems.
Aug 28, 2022 · Fleming RichardThe Blackfoot River RV Park is just about finished from construction. New 30 & 50 Amp power hook up's, new water and sewer lines. Some of the lots are on the smaller tighter side and some are in the larger side, but really clean and it is the only space around doing monthly contacts of $500 month utilities included for the winter months.Pet Friendly with a fenced dog park going in next week. Showers should be finished next week also. Exciting clean and safe.
Oct 08, 2021 · Brett SpenceSmall 30 site New Park with very limited services. The sites are long enough but not very wide. All the services are new and work well but there was no sewer connection at our site.Nice fenced dog park, 2 new bathrooms, didn't see any other facilities, nothing much for nearby restaurants, but grant them that they are new so I would give them some time and another visit to raise my rating. No office so we didn't meet any staff.
