Town Introduce
This introduction addresses Town Mobile Home Park, located at 540 US-26, Blackfoot, ID 83221, USA, in the context of local users who may be searching for "RV parks near me" or considering various long-term living options. It is crucial to understand that mobile home parks like Town typically cater to residents who own or rent manufactured homes on a long-term basis, which differs from the short-term, recreational focus of many RV parks. The services and environment of a mobile home park are generally geared towards permanent or semi-permanent residency.
Based on the limited but strongly negative feedback available from online reviews, potential residents should be aware of significant concerns raised by individuals who have reportedly lived at Town Mobile Home Park. These reviews paint a concerning picture of the park's management and overall living conditions.
One reviewer describes the owner as "disgraceful," alleging unethical practices such as moving people into the park with the primary intention of acquiring their trailers and subsequently evicting them when they face financial difficulties in moving the trailer. This review also includes disturbing allegations about the owner expressing negative sentiments towards certain residents. These are serious accusations that, if accurate, would indicate a highly problematic living environment characterized by instability and a lack of respect for residents.
Furthermore, the same review raises concerns about the billing of electricity. It is stated that the park, not Idaho Power, handles the billing, and residents may be charged arbitrary amounts. The reviewer provides a specific instance where they claim to have been charged $200 for power in a trailer where the power was intentionally shut off and no usage occurred. This suggests a lack of transparency and potential for unfair billing practices, which could lead to unexpected and potentially inflated utility costs for residents.
Another reviewer echoes a strongly negative sentiment, describing the park as "absolutely terrible" and the owner as "outrageously rude." This individual also mentions the physical condition of the park, stating that it is "dirty and outdated with potholes covering over 2/3 of the property." Such conditions would not only detract from the aesthetic appeal of the community but could also pose safety hazards for residents and their vehicles.
Adding to the concerns about management practices, the second reviewer alleges that the owner's "upkeep of 'records' is garbage," implying disorganization and potential inaccuracies in record-keeping. The comparison used in the review further emphasizes the perceived incompetence in this area. Poor record-keeping can lead to various issues for residents, including billing errors, lease discrepancies, and general administrative difficulties.
Given these overwhelmingly negative reviews, potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might consider Town Mobile Home Park for a longer-term stay should exercise extreme caution. While the location in Blackfoot, ID, might be convenient for some, the reported issues concerning the owner's behavior, alleged unethical practices, questionable utility billing, and the physical condition of the park are significant red flags.
It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and opinions shared online. However, the consistency and severity of the allegations across the two available reviews warrant serious consideration. Prospective residents should be aware of these potential risks before making any decisions regarding residency at Town Mobile Home Park.
Due to the severely negative nature of the available feedback, it is impossible to present any positive aspects regarding the environment, services, features, or promotional information for Town Mobile Home Park based solely on these reviews. The dominant themes are those of a disrespectful and potentially exploitative owner, a poorly maintained physical environment, and questionable administrative practices.
For local users seeking residential options in the Blackfoot, ID area, it would be prudent to thoroughly investigate alternative mobile home parks or RV parks that have more positive or at least less concerning feedback. Relying solely on the information available for Town Mobile Home Park could lead to a negative and potentially costly living experience.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Town Mobile Home Park in Blackfoot, ID, paint a highly unfavorable picture. Potential residents should be aware of the serious allegations regarding the owner's conduct, utility billing practices, and the park's physical condition. While this introduction is based solely on the provided negative feedback and lacks any positive information, it is crucial for prospective residents to consider these concerns carefully before considering Town Mobile Home Park as a living option.

Town Reviews
The owner of this park is disgraceful. He will move people into the park just for their trailer and kick them out when he knows they can't afford to move their trailer. He will speak freely about how he wishes certain people in the park will "just die already" so he can tear out their trailer. The power here is billed by the park not by Idaho Power and they will just charge you whatever they feel like. I purposely shut power off to a trailer I had in there and still got charged $200 for power even when none was used. Absolutely terrible place to live. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Jun 08, 2022 · James LawrenceAbsolutely terrible. The owner is outrageously rude. The park is dirty and outdated with potholes covering over 2/3 of the property. As previously bored, they're upkeep of "records" is garbage. He couldn't keep proper records if Trump paid him to.

Jun 08, 2022 · Fernando DearcosThis place is the classic trailer park stereotype. But it is cheap to live there.
