This park has such potential but the out of town manager's Mark and Giselle do not care about the park or doing there job.The park is based on favoritism, they will refuse to re-new your lease unless you don't work, are on crack, steal,or make a living prostitututing for rent. The bathrooms are filthy, the showers are clogged 100% of the time, the yard work is a mess and never mowed or weeded.Mark and Gissele refused to re-new our 6 month lease with the excuse being we didn't go by the park rules .The truth is we used water to wash daily bird poop from our vehicle caused by a tenant that feeds crows and all the wildlife dog food, chicken and tuna fish.I also stopped one of the tenants from beating up a senior citizen that deliverd food from a church for the needy. The manager "Mark" screemed at the top of his lungs calling me a lier to protect one of there favorite tenets when i tried explaining what happened. Two good tenants that mind there own business and the out of town managers have pushed them off into a corner spot with no room for parking. The old lady's that live at the park are super nosey. The park is a total mess !Beware! - ron dean

Beach RV Pleasure Point Introduce

For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the scenic Santa Cruz, California area, Beach RV Pleasure Point, located at 2505 Portola Dr, Santa Cruz, CA 95062, USA, presents itself as a potentially convenient option. You can reach them at (831) 462-2505 or +1 831-462-2505 for inquiries. However, it is crucial for prospective visitors to be aware of recent customer feedback which paints a concerning picture of the park's management and overall condition. While one review notes the office staff as "super nice and helpful" and describes the park as "cute, small, narrow spaces with full hookups," the overwhelming majority of the available reviews express significant dissatisfaction.

Several reviewers highlight severe issues with the park's management, specifically mentioning "out of town manager's Mark and Giselle" and alleging a lack of care for the park and their responsibilities. One particularly alarming review claims that lease renewals are based on "favoritism" and cites disturbing reasons for non-renewal, including not working, alleged drug use, theft, or engaging in prostitution for rent. These are serious accusations that potential residents should consider with extreme caution. The same reviewer also recounts an incident of intervening in an alleged assault on a senior citizen by another tenant, further painting a troubling picture of the park's environment and management's response.

The cleanliness and maintenance of Beach RV Pleasure Point are also major points of concern in the reviews. Multiple customers describe the bathrooms as "filthy" and the showers as "clogged 100% of the time." Such conditions raise significant hygiene concerns and would undoubtedly detract from the comfort and quality of stay for any RV traveler. Additionally, the "yard work is a mess and never mowed or weeded," indicating a lack of attention to the basic upkeep of the park's grounds, which can contribute to an unappealing and potentially unsanitary environment.

One reviewer details their personal experience of having their six-month lease not renewed, attributing it to reporting a tenant who was allegedly feeding crows and other wildlife dog food, chicken, and tuna fish, leading to excessive bird droppings on their vehicle. They claim that using water to wash off the droppings daily was cited as a violation of park rules. This account suggests a potentially unreasonable or poorly communicated enforcement of park rules and a lack of concern for legitimate issues faced by tenants. The same reviewer also alleges that the manager, "Mark," reacted defensively and aggressively when confronted about issues involving favored tenants, using accusatory language.

Further negative feedback includes an observation that "two good tenants that mind there own business" were allegedly relegated to a less desirable "corner spot with no room for parking" by the out-of-town managers. This suggests potential unfair treatment or mismanagement of site assignments within the park. Another reviewer mentions that the "old lady's that live at the park are super nosey," which, while subjective, could contribute to a less private or comfortable experience for some visitors seeking a quiet and independent stay in an "RV park near me."

The overall sentiment expressed in several reviews is overwhelmingly negative, with one reviewer explicitly stating, "The park is a total mess!" and issuing a stark warning: "Beware!" This strong language underscores the depth of dissatisfaction experienced by some former tenants and should not be ignored by anyone considering a stay at Beach RV Pleasure Point.

Despite these significant negative reports, one review offers a contrasting perspective, describing the park as "cute, small, narrow spaces with full hookups" and praising the "office staff" as "super nice and helpful." The mention of "full hookups" is a positive aspect, indicating that the park offers essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity at each site. The "small" and "narrow spaces" might be a consideration for RVers with larger rigs, potentially making maneuverability and setup challenging. However, the positive note about the office staff suggests that at least some interactions with park personnel can be pleasant and helpful.

Given the stark contrast between the positive and overwhelmingly negative reviews, it is difficult to form a completely objective assessment without further information or more recent feedback that indicates potential improvements. However, the consistency and severity of the complaints regarding management, cleanliness, and park maintenance are serious red flags that potential visitors searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider. The allegations of favoritism and questionable lease renewal practices are particularly concerning.

While the location of Beach RV Pleasure Point in Santa Cruz, near the popular Pleasure Point surfing area, could be a significant draw for those wanting to be close to the coast and recreational activities, the reported internal conditions and management practices may outweigh the location's advantages for many travelers. The potential for a less-than-pleasant and possibly unsanitary living environment, coupled with allegations of unprofessional management, presents a significant risk for anyone considering a stay here.

Without any promotional information or evidence of recent improvements to counter the negative feedback, it is challenging to recommend Beach RV Pleasure Point based solely on the currently available reviews. The park's potential, as noted by one reviewer, seems to be overshadowed by significant operational and management issues. Therefore, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Santa Cruz are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and seek more recent reviews or consider alternative RV parks in the area that have consistently positive feedback regarding management, cleanliness, and overall maintenance.

In conclusion, while Beach RV Pleasure Point offers full hookups and a location near a popular Santa Cruz attraction, the available customer reviews raise serious concerns about the park's management, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall living environment. Potential visitors should carefully weigh these negative reports against the limited positive feedback and consider whether the location's convenience outweighs the significant risks suggested by the experiences of previous tenants. It would be prudent to seek alternative "RV parks near me" in Santa Cruz with more consistently positive reviews to ensure a comfortable and safe stay.
