Trailer Haven Introduce
Located at 2630 Portola Dr in Santa Cruz, California, Trailer Haven offers a unique blend of affordability, convenience, and natural beauty for those seeking residential living in a mobile home park setting. While categorized under "RV parks near me," it is crucial to understand that Trailer Haven primarily serves as a long-term residential community for mobile homeowners rather than a short-term accommodation for recreational vehicles. Therefore, individuals looking for overnight or temporary RV parking in Santa Cruz should explore other options. However, for those interested in purchasing a mobile home and residing in a community with exceptional access to the beach and nature, Trailer Haven presents a compelling opportunity.
Based on the available customer reviews, Trailer Haven boasts several highly desirable features. One of the most significant advantages highlighted by a resident is its prime location: "Its really close to the beach, within walking distance." This proximity to the beach offers residents the incredible lifestyle benefit of easy and frequent access to the sandy shores and the recreational opportunities of the Pacific Ocean. Whether it's for leisurely strolls, sunbathing, surfing, or simply enjoying the coastal ambiance, the walkable distance to the beach is a major draw.
Adding to the convenience of the location is the immediate access to public transportation: "Bus stop is right in front, convenient for getting around." This accessibility to a bus line simplifies commuting and exploring the wider Santa Cruz area without the sole reliance on personal vehicles. Residents can easily access shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, and other parts of the city using the public transport available right at their doorstep.
Another significant benefit mentioned by a resident is the affordability of living at Trailer Haven: "Rent is low." In the often-high-cost housing market of Santa Cruz, finding an affordable living option is a considerable advantage. The lower rent at Trailer Haven can provide residents with greater financial flexibility and make living in this desirable coastal town more accessible.
The environment within Trailer Haven is also described positively in terms of tranquility: "Quite for the most part." This suggests that residents can enjoy a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere within the community, away from the noise and bustle of more crowded areas. A quiet living environment contributes to a higher quality of life and a greater sense of home.
Furthermore, another reviewer eloquently describes a unique natural feature of Trailer Haven: "This East Side 'Haven' backs up to a Eucalyptus grove where Monarch Butterflies flutter, by the thousands." This proximity to a Eucalyptus grove that attracts a significant Monarch butterfly population offers residents a spectacular natural display during migration seasons. The opportunity to witness thousands of these beautiful butterflies adds a touch of wonder and natural beauty to the living environment.
This same reviewer also mentions direct access to a nearby beach via a trail: "You can walk a trail down to 26th Avenue Beach." This provides an alternative route to the beach, possibly offering a scenic walk through the Eucalyptus grove, further enhancing the connection to nature and the ease of beach access for residents.

Mar 21, 2018 · amber mcmeansTight knit cozy trailer park with different types of eateries, coffee shops, bar/lounges, churches and stores. Walking distance to the beach, O'Neal's home. 41st. Is close by where you'll find the mull, theater, Brew bars, restaurants OSH, Home/Depot plus a ton of other business for you everyday needs. Trailer Heaven has been a stepping stone for us coming down from the valley, we've enjoyed the neighbors company and our little getaway home from home.
Dec 21, 2017 · Albert Guerrero SrEvery time I go there there are constantly new mobile homes going in. The manager Sherry is one of the best! It's always a joy to visit there.
