Beaufort Waterway RV Park, LLC Introduce
For RV enthusiasts and families seeking a serene yet activity-rich coastal escape, Beaufort Waterway RV Park, LLC, presents a compelling option within the "RV Parks Near Me" category. Located at 327 Core Creek Rd, Beaufort, NC 28516, USA, this park distinguishes itself through its prime waterfront location, comprehensive amenities, and exceptionally welcoming atmosphere, consistently praised by visitors. It offers a unique blend of convenience to nearby towns and the tranquility of direct Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) access.
The environment at Beaufort Waterway RV Park is a major draw. Situated directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, it offers "Good views of the intercoastal waterway and boat traffic." This picturesque setting allows guests to enjoy the constant flow of boats, from yachts to fishing vessels, creating a dynamic and engaging backdrop to their stay. The ability to observe passing dolphins from the comfort of your RV or the spacious dock seating further enhances this scenic experience. The park provides ample space, with "very large and nicely spaced" lots, contributing to a sense of privacy and openness, which is a significant advantage over more crowded RV parks. The overall atmosphere is "nice, safe, organized, clean, with wonderful views, very quiet and peaceful." While it "sits in the shadow of the overpass so expect some traffic noise at times," this is a minor trade-off for the exceptional waterfront access and proximity to key areas. The park is well-maintained, suggesting a commitment to providing a pleasant and aesthetically pleasing environment for all guests. The property also features green areas, providing space for pets and general relaxation.
Services at Beaufort Waterway RV Park are designed to maximize convenience and comfort. All RV sites are full hook-up, offering 30/50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections, which are essential for a hassle-free RV experience. The park also features an on-site, coin-operated laundry facility within the office building, available during office hours or by appointment, providing a crucial amenity for extended stays. Firewood and ice are available for purchase at the main office. A notable aspect of the park's service is the exceptional hospitality provided by the owners, Mrs. Tina and her husband, who are described as "amazing people, very nice and gentle, and always eager to help others." They actively "make you feel at home," ensuring a personalized and supportive experience for every visitor, from nighttime arrivals to daily needs. For longer-term RV renters (30+ days), electricity is metered, while short-term stays (less than 30 days) include electricity. The park also offers various rental accommodations beyond RV sites, including cabins, a studio, a whimsical houseboat, and a waterfront cottage. These rentals, like Cabin 2, are praised for being "immaculate and didn't have any 'pet aroma' at all," indicating high standards of cleanliness even in pet-friendly units. Specific services for cabin guests may include fully equipped kitchens and comfortable sleeping arrangements, such as lofts that can accommodate children.
The features of Beaufort Waterway RV Park are robust and cater to a wide range of interests, particularly those centered around water activities. A significant feature is the direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, complemented by a private boat ramp. This "private ramp with 'no' wait time" is a considerable advantage for boat owners, allowing for immediate and easy launching. Beyond launching, boat slips are available, providing secure mooring for vessels. For those without a boat, the "fishing from the pier or your site" is a highly appealing feature, with a fish cleaning station available at the end of the dock, making it convenient for anglers. Guests can enjoy fishing from the grassy areas by their cabins as well. The park is "pet-friendly," welcoming furry companions with an expectation for owners to clean up after their pets. However, it's advised that potential guests "review the rules before booking as there are a few that are different from other parks," indicating a well-structured set of guidelines to maintain harmony within the community. For example, "Smoking is prohibited in any bathhouse, laundry, Office, or game room," and strict rules apply to vehicle parking and boat/trailer storage. The park is noted as being "close to Havelock and Beaufort," making it convenient for accessing local amenities, shopping, dining, and attractions in these charming coastal towns. Specifically, it's about a "12min drive to one and 20min to the larger boat ramp near Beaufort." The park's main orientation is towards adults and those with older children, given the "proximity to the water and strong currents," although children under 6 stay free, and larger families can be accommodated (max 6 per site with additional guest fees). Site types include pull-through and back-in options, many with concrete patios, picnic tables, grills, and fire pits.

Beaufort Waterway RV Park, LLC Reviews
Nice park close to Havelock and Beaufort. Additional improvements are currently underway. Staff is very helpful & friendly. Good views of the intercoastal waterway and boat traffic as well as fishing from the pier or your site. Sits in the shadow of the overpass so expect some traffic noise at times. Take a minute to review the rules before booking as there are a few that are different from other parks. May be best suited for families with older or no children due to proximity to the water and strong currents. We camped at Beaufort Waterway RV Park in a Motorhome.
Mar 25, 2025 · JonathanOur family took a last minute trip to the coast and the only place that was pet-friendly that had availability for the four nights we needed was Beaufort Waterway RV Park. We stayed in Cabin 2. It was immaculate and didn't have any "pet aroma" at all, which was a pleasant surprise. The loft upstairs could have easily accommodated two or three children in sleeping bags or on cord or a futon. Mrs. Tina was very friendly and showed us around at our nighttime arrival. My husband and son enjoyed fishing right from the grassy area by our cabin, as well as on the pier. Highly recommend!
Jul 29, 2024 · Beverly JonesWe got kind of roped into this place. We should have stayed at Oyster Point Campground bc this place was totally out of our way. The place had a TON OF RULES. $80 was the lowest out of season rate. Located under a noisy hwy bridge, it was still under construction and a total mud pit. Checkout 10 am. $13 wifi. Nothing special.....
Jan 29, 2025 · Stephanie IrvinWe enjoyed our stay a lot! Clean lot, boat ramp was easy to access, boat parking was nice and secure, and to top it off everyone was super nice. The owner is very polite and very reasonable when needed. We will be staying here again a lot and i highly recommend staying here. Not a far drive from beaufort waterfront. After a trip to the grocery store we just took our boat everywhere from then on out. The creek is very simple to navigate and it is an easy boat ride to morehead waterfront and Beaufort water front to attend activities and restaurants.
Aug 26, 2024 · Nick RiceThe highway right above the rv campsites it's very loud. You can hear it all night long while sleeping and getting woken up by it. They are not pet friendly. If your dog barks, they're threatened to throw you out without refund I did get a refund as I stuck to my guns, he threatened to evict me. He is not a nice man. It does not offer any amenities at all. The wifi is super super expensive, four times what other places are, and you can get ele tricincluded other places
