Bedford Hills Introduce
When looking for "RV parks near me" in the Battle Creek, Michigan area, it's important to research various types of residential communities that might accommodate recreational vehicles, particularly for those seeking extended stays. Bedford Hills, situated at 110 Bejac Cir Dr, Battle Creek, MI 49037, is primarily a mobile home park. For individuals considering this location for potential RV living, it is crucial to carefully review available information and feedback from current or former residents to make an informed decision.
Bedford Hills can be contacted at (269) 965-0759 or via mobile phone at +1 269-965-0759. These contact details can be used to inquire directly about the park's policies regarding RVs, the availability of suitable lots or sites for recreational vehicles, the types of hookups provided (e.g., water, sewer, electricity), the costs associated with residency (including lot rental and utility fees), and any specific rules or regulations that might apply to RV owners.
However, it is essential to consider the feedback provided by individuals who have lived at Bedford Hills. Some recent reviews paint a concerning picture of the park's management and overall environment. One reviewer describes the management in the office as having "horrible attitudes" and being "extremely unprofessional." This individual recounts being allegedly illegally evicted after only three months of residency, despite renting a lot and placing a camper on it. Furthermore, they report being charged over $250 in unexplained "miscellaneous fees" each month. The reviewer also alleges that management intentionally damaged their camper while attempting an illegal tow before police intervention. Based on this experience, the reviewer strongly advises against recommending Bedford Hills to anyone, noting frequent management changes and a perceived worsening of conditions over time according to long-term residents.
Another recent review echoes significant concerns about the park's upkeep and management. This individual, who moved in just six weeks prior to writing the review, describes arriving at a yard that had not been maintained for what appeared to be years, with inches of accumulated leaves and various items of trash. The reviewer states that there was no area of their yard that was free of trash and found the condition to be "embarrassing." Upon raising this issue, they were reportedly told it was their responsibility to clean it up. The reviewer further alleges that management was unhelpful and dismissive, suggesting legal action. This individual characterizes Bedford Hills as a "slum park" and strongly advises others to "stay away no matter how desperate you are," referencing other negative reviews as further evidence of the park's poor conditions.
These reviews raise serious concerns about the management practices, the maintenance of the park grounds, and potentially the overall living environment at Bedford Hills. For individuals specifically searching for "RV parks near me," these factors are critical to consider. While a mobile home park might occasionally accommodate RVs for longer-term stays, the negative feedback regarding management professionalism, unexplained fees, alleged illegal actions, and poor maintenance suggests a potentially unfavorable environment for any resident, including those in recreational vehicles.
When evaluating Bedford Hills as a potential option for RV living, it would be prudent to proceed with extreme caution. The reported issues with management attitude, potential for unexpected fees, and the lack of attention to basic maintenance could significantly impact the quality of life for any resident. For RV owners, additional concerns might include the suitability of the lots for RVs, the reliability and accessibility of utility hookups, and the overall safety and security of the park.
Given the strongly negative experiences shared in the reviews, it is highly recommended that anyone considering Bedford Hills for RV living (or any type of residency) conduct thorough due diligence. This should include attempting to contact the current management to directly address the concerns raised in the reviews and to inquire about their policies and practices. A personal visit to the park is also strongly advised to independently assess the conditions of the grounds, the general upkeep of the properties, and the overall atmosphere of the community. If possible, speaking with current residents might provide additional insights into the day-to-day living experience at Bedford Hills.
It is important to remember that mobile home parks and RV parks are often distinct types of communities with different focuses and amenities. Traditional RV parks are typically designed to cater to recreational vehicles, offering amenities such as level pads, easily accessible hookups, dump stations, and often recreational facilities. Mobile home parks, on the other hand, are primarily designed for long-term residency in manufactured homes, and while some might accommodate RVs, they may not offer the same amenities or level of service that a dedicated RV park provides.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Battle Creek area, it would be wise to also explore other options that are specifically advertised as RV parks or campgrounds. These facilities are more likely to be equipped to handle the specific needs of recreational vehicles and often provide a more tailored experience for RV travelers and long-term residents alike. Resources such as online directories and camping websites can be helpful in identifying and researching dedicated RV parks in the vicinity of Battle Creek.
In conclusion, while Bedford Hills is located in Battle Creek, MI, and might technically fall within the search results for "RV parks near me," the available recent reviews present significant concerns regarding the park's management, maintenance, and overall living environment. Individuals considering this location for RV living should exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough personal investigation, and strongly consider exploring alternative, dedicated RV parks or campgrounds in the Battle Creek area that may offer a more positive and reliable living experience.

Bedford Hills Reviews
Management In the office have horrible attitudes. And they are extremely unprofessional. I lived here 3 months before they illegally evicted me and my veteran fiance. They charged over $250 in miscellaneous fees every month and had no answer as to what they were for. I rented a lot and put a camper on it and they intentionally cut off a piece of my camper while trying to illegally tow it before the police made them stop. Highly don't recommend this place to anybody. They've changed management like 7 times in the last 6 years and the long term residents here say it gets worse everytime.
Mar 17, 2023 · Kaytlyn BondMoved in 6 weeks ago to a yard that hadn't been raked, mowed or cleaned of trash in at least years. Inches of leaves piled up with empty milk jugs and license plates underneath. There isn't a square foot of yard without a piece of trash it's embarrassing. Then I was violated and told it's my responsibility to clean up. Management don't care and will tell you take us to court. it's a slum park read the rest of the reviews. Stay away no matter how desperate you are!
Apr 07, 2023 · Eric KlotzMy experience there was very good the office personnel were polite, considerate, and well-informed. They seem to have a big heart for their community of people and definitely wanted to assist the community in any way they could. I liked her ideas and goals for the community as well. Keep up the good work ladies, you're appreciated 🙂!!!
Jan 10, 2021 · Justin RisteWas just told they won't fix my toilet that is leaking all over my floor. Causing major water damage. As well as they won't touch the fire hazard of a ceiling fan hanging in my house. I rent I dont need a replacement ceiling fan. I just wanted the fire hazard gone. The management told me she didnt give a damn. And would call on if they would fix the toilet. I've been here 5 yrs renting. Parks changed management 4 times and gets worse every time. I'd give no stars if I could!
Nov 20, 2019 · Mark ParadineManagement has been unprofessional from when i moved in 6 years ago. 1st management was rude and a slow getting us in. 2nd ones gave me a real hard time when my power went out 3 times within a year which ended up their responsibility all 3 times! And i do own my trailer and know what im suppose to take care of. The new ones have been rude when asked questions. My rent bill for January was on my back door which has never happened in 6 years . A coworkers family member who has lived here for 20 plus years has had a few isssues with the new management as well, along with a couple others I've spoken to who all live here. They need some real professional customer service help.
