Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in the Battle Creek, Michigan area, it's essential to research various types of residential communities that might accommodate recreational vehicles, especially for those considering extended stays. Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community, located at 1030 E Columbia Ave lot e 1, Battle Creek, MI 49014, is primarily a mobile home park. For those considering this location for potential RV living, it is crucial to carefully review available information and feedback from current or former residents to make an informed decision.
Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community can be contacted at (269) 719-2862 or via mobile phone at +1 269-719-2862. These contact numbers provide a direct line to the park's management, allowing potential residents, including those with RVs, to inquire about current availability, policies regarding recreational vehicles, and the specific amenities and services offered. It is advisable to reach out to understand if the community accommodates RVs for long-term stays and what specific provisions are in place.
However, it is vital to consider the feedback provided by individuals who have interacted with or lived at Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community. Recent reviews raise significant concerns regarding the park's management and operational efficiency. One reviewer expresses extreme difficulty in contacting anyone at the park. They recount applying for residency with their boyfriend six months prior to writing the review and having received no response despite multiple calls and visits to the office. This individual also suggests that the park may be improperly handling application fees and requests a contact number for HR, indicating a severe lack of communication and responsiveness from the management.
Another reviewer echoes concerns about the poor quality of management, describing it as "disgusting." While they note that there are ten new trailers being installed in the community, they question the effectiveness of the management, pointing out the lack of availability and responsiveness of the manager during office hours and via phone. This raises concerns about the overall administrative support and accessibility for residents, including those who might be considering bringing an RV to the community.
A current resident describes Baker Estates as a "total joke," providing a detailed account of negative experiences with the current manager, who they identify as the maintenance person living on-site. This resident alleges that the manager does not adequately perform their maintenance duties, has lost money orders and checks for lot rent payments, consistently fails to answer the phone, and actively avoids residents. Furthermore, they claim that the manager does not honor their commitments made during conversations and has a pattern of submitting lot rent payments late, even when paid on time by the resident, leading to unwarranted late fee charges. Based on these experiences, the resident strongly advises against anyone attempting to reside at Baker Estates, labeling the place as "straight ridiculous."
These reviews collectively paint a concerning picture of the management and operational practices at Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community. The reported issues with communication, responsiveness, financial handling (lost payments, incorrect late fees), and the alleged inadequacy of both management and maintenance responsibilities are significant red flags for any potential resident, including those who might be considering residing in an RV on a long-term basis.
When evaluating Baker Estates as a potential option for RV living, it is crucial to weigh these negative experiences heavily. The apparent lack of effective management and the reported disorganization could lead to numerous challenges for residents, such as difficulties in resolving issues, uncertainties regarding fees and payments, and potential neglect of essential maintenance. For RV owners, these concerns could be compounded by the need for reliable utility hookups and well-maintained grounds to ensure a comfortable and safe living environment.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding the management and overall operation of Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community, it is strongly recommended that anyone considering this location for RV living (or any type of residency) proceed with extreme caution. Thoroughly investigate the current situation by attempting to contact the management to address the concerns raised in the reviews. A personal visit to the community is also highly advised to independently assess the environment, the condition of the grounds and facilities, and to potentially speak with current residents to gain a broader understanding of the living experience.
It is important to remember that mobile home parks and RV parks typically operate under different models and may offer varying levels of service and amenities. Dedicated RV parks are generally designed to cater specifically to the needs of recreational vehicles, providing appropriate site sizes, reliable hookups, and often amenities such as dump stations and recreational facilities. Mobile home parks primarily focus on long-term residency in manufactured homes, and while some might accommodate RVs, their infrastructure and management may not be as geared towards the specific needs of RV owners.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Battle Creek area, it would be prudent to prioritize exploring options that are explicitly advertised as RV parks or campgrounds. These facilities are more likely to offer the services and amenities that RV travelers and long-term residents typically require and expect. Utilizing online resources and directories specializing in RV parks can help in identifying and researching reputable options in the vicinity of Battle Creek.
In conclusion, while Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community is located in Battle Creek, MI, and might appear in a broad search for "RV parks near me," the available recent reviews indicate significant and concerning issues with the park's management and operational practices. Potential residents, including those considering long-term RV stays, should exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough personal investigation, and strongly consider exploring alternative, dedicated RV parks or campgrounds in the Battle Creek area that are known for reliable management and a positive living environment.

Baker Estates Manufactured Home Community Reviews
I can NEVER get a hold of anyone. My boyfriend and I had applied here, and it’s been six months without a reply. I’ve went to the office and called several times, it seems like they’re just taking everyone’s application fees. I’d like a number for HR. If anyone has that, please provide it.I’ve never seen management be so poor, it’s disgusting. They have ten new trailers being put in. But if your manager isn’t there or answering calls when the office is open, what are they being paid for.
Sep 21, 2021 · Brooklyn McCulloughI live here and this place is a total joke. The manager now is the maintenance guy that doesn't do his job even though he lives on site. has lost money orders and checks for lot rent, does not answer the phone and avoids everyone here as much as he possibly can, does not stick to his word when you actually get the chance to talk to him and turns in lot rent payments late even though it was on time and then tries to charge you a late fee. I would not recommend that anyone try to get a home here this place is straight ridiculous.
