Bedrock Swifts Mobile Home Community Introduce
Are you searching for an affordable and welcoming all-age mobile home community in the North Fort Myers area of Florida? Perhaps your search under the category of "RV parks near me" has led you to consider options beyond just temporary RV stays, seeking a more permanent or long-term community environment. Bedrock Swifts Mobile Home Community, located at 1846 Powell Dr C, North Fort Myers, FL 33917, USA, offers a unique blend of affordability, a natural setting, and a caring management team, making it a noteworthy option for local users.
Bedrock Swifts Mobile Home Community distinguishes itself as an all-age park, a significant feature highlighted by a resident who specifically searched for such a community. This inclusivity creates a diverse and vibrant environment, welcoming families, individuals, and seniors alike. For those who have found that many "RV parks near me" cater primarily to specific age groups, Bedrock Swifts offers a refreshing alternative where everyone is welcome.
The environment of Bedrock Swifts is frequently praised by its residents. One newcomer describes the park as reminiscent of an "actual camping site," suggesting a natural and perhaps more rustic charm than typically found in many mobile home parks. This imagery evokes a setting with open spaces, perhaps a more relaxed atmosphere, and a connection to the outdoors. Another resident specifically mentions the abundance of trees as a significant positive feature, especially in contrast to other parks with sparse greenery. These trees likely provide shade, enhance the aesthetic appeal of the community, and contribute to a more pleasant living environment.
Convenience is another key aspect of Bedrock Swifts. Its location, set off the main road yet convenient to shopping, offers a balance of peaceful living and easy access to essential amenities. This is a crucial factor for many when considering "RV parks near me" for a longer-term stay, as proximity to shopping centers, grocery stores, and other services greatly enhances daily life. The off-main-road setting likely contributes to a quieter and safer environment within the community itself.
The management at Bedrock Swifts, particularly the park manager Marna, receives high praise from residents. She is described as "very caring and helpful," indicating a management style that prioritizes the well-being of the community. Her initiatives, such as setting up food pantries and organizing insurance informational meetings at the park, demonstrate a proactive approach to resident support and community engagement. This level of care and involvement is a significant advantage for those looking for a supportive environment within their chosen "RV park near me."
Furthermore, the management is reported to be making ongoing improvements to the park and is open to ideas for community events. This suggests a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to community development, where residents' feedback is valued and acted upon. This willingness to enhance the living experience and foster a sense of community through events is a strong indicator of a well-managed and resident-focused park.
While the provided information does not include specific details about the physical infrastructure or additional amenities, we can infer some likely offerings based on the nature of a mobile home and RV community. These might include:
- Individual lots or spaces suitable for mobile homes and potentially RVs.
- Essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer.
- Basic park maintenance, including groundskeeping and road upkeep.
- Potentially, communal areas for residents to enjoy.
Given that one resident likened it to a camping site, it's possible that the amenities are more focused on a natural and community-oriented experience rather than extensive resort-style features. However, the caring management and the ongoing improvements suggest a commitment to ensuring a comfortable and functional living environment for all residents.
The fact that Bedrock Swifts is an all-age park is a significant feature that broadens its appeal, especially for families or those who prefer a multi-generational community. This contrasts with some "RV parks near me" that may have age restrictions, making Bedrock Swifts a more inclusive option.

I just moved in and live the park. It reminds me of an actual camping site

Oct 30, 2021 · Lynne AI was there in February and March. Great place; nice and quiet. Really nice and friendly people living there. It's situated across from a strip mall with a great diner and a delicious Hungarian restaurant on the other side of it. I needed to stay someplace for a few months for work and I wasn't expecting this at all. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm even considering staying for good next time I come down.
Jul 07, 2021 · Scott PaladiniThis place is an absolute joke, the manager and her husband are both drunks. They walk around the park all day and night. I've seen them stealing people's outdoor furniture and going into people's houses without their permission. They asked us to leave the park in our RV because another tenant in the park knocked on our door at 8:30 at night quietly mnd you, and the park manager said it woke her up because her RV is next to us. Again this was at 8:30 at night they knocked they didn't even ring the door. It's crazy how bad this park is and how bad the manager is always drunk. Corporate won't help you.
Feb 13, 2023 · Bradford PughIf I could give ZERO stars, I would! Seriously, ZERO stars! Don’t waste your time or money coming to this run-down trailer park! The pictures online, and nice review must be from an alternate dimension! There is no clubhouse or rec room. This place is crowded and dirty, with feral cats screaming in the night. The pictures online are definitely photoshopped. It is not green and pretty, there is no outside seating area. If you’re looking for the adventure of staying in a low income trailer park, complete with police raids looking for felons in the park, then this place might be for you. Again, ZERO stars!
