Jones Mobile Trailer Park Introduce
For local users searching for "rv parks near me" or information about mobile home living in North Fort Myers, Florida, Jones Mobile Trailer Park, located at 1895 N Tamiami Trl, presents a complex picture based on recent customer feedback available online. It's crucial to consider these perspectives when evaluating this community.
Several reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the conditions and management of Jones Mobile Trailer Park. One individual who visited the park to inquire about a place for sale expressed significant reservations. While the initial lot rent was perceived as reasonable for the location, the potential increase to nearly $700 raised concerns about value for money in that specific area. This potential rent increase prompted the visitor to state they would not have been curious about the property had they known beforehand. It's important to note that the current lot rent is unknown and should be inquired about directly.
Furthermore, this visitor described the general area as "not that desirable" despite its convenience for shopping and other amenities. A significant concern raised was the poor maintenance of the park itself, with most of the homes appearing "run down." While a few residents seemed to take pride in their lots, this was not the prevailing impression. The park appeared to be primarily for full-time residents, with limited open slots and potentially challenging access for larger vehicles. The visitor did not observe any amenities during their brief visit, as their priority was to be respectful to the seller and leave the premises.
Another reviewer who visited a friend at Jones Mobile Trailer Park expressed shock at the reported rent costs, describing the living conditions as "slumlord" type. This review strongly suggests that the perceived value did not align with the cost of living in the park. A particularly alarming point raised was that "most of the trailers need to be removed because of less than adequate safety for comfortable living conditions!!!" This indicates potentially serious habitability issues within the park.
Adding to these concerns, another comment directly calls for county authorities to inspect and identify "condemned" structures within the park, deeming them "inhabitable." This reviewer highlighted the presence of garbage, old furniture, and piled-up cars in front of numerous residences, further supporting the assessment of poor maintenance and potentially unsafe living conditions. The sentiment expressed is that if the rent is indeed high for trailer park living, residents should expect a comfortable living environment, which, according to these reviews, is not the case at Jones Mobile Trailer Park.
Based on these reviews, it is difficult to ascertain specific services and features offered at Jones Mobile Trailer Park. The lack of mention of amenities, coupled with the focus on the park's deteriorated condition, suggests that traditional mobile home park amenities may be limited or poorly maintained. Potential amenities that are typically found in such parks, but are not confirmed to be present or in good condition at Jones Mobile Trailer Park, could include:
- Individual lots with utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer)
- Common areas or green spaces
- Laundry facilities
- Waste disposal services (the reviews suggest potential issues with waste management on individual lots)
- Roads and lighting (the condition of these is not explicitly mentioned but could be inferred from the overall maintenance concerns)
- On-site management (the responsiveness and effectiveness of management are not clear from the reviews)
The environment of Jones Mobile Trailer Park, as depicted by the reviews, is far from desirable. The descriptions of run-down homes, lack of maintenance, garbage, and piled-up belongings paint a picture of neglect. While the location is noted as convenient for shopping and general amenities in the surrounding area, the internal environment of the park itself appears to be a significant concern for multiple individuals.
No promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Given the negative feedback regarding the park's condition and perceived value, it is unlikely that there are active promotions aimed at attracting new residents or RVers at this time. Any potential future improvements or changes in management could alter this situation, but based solely on the current information, no positive promotional aspects can be identified.
For local users searching for "rv parks near me" in North Fort Myers, Jones Mobile Trailer Park warrants extreme caution based on the publicly available reviews. The concerns raised about high lot rent relative to the living conditions, the poor state of repair of many homes, the lack of apparent maintenance, and potential safety issues are significant. While the location may offer convenience for shopping and other necessities, the internal environment and living conditions seem to be substantial drawbacks.
It is strongly recommended that anyone considering Jones Mobile Trailer Park for either mobile home living or RV stays contact the park directly at (239) 800-4548 or +1 239-800-4548 to inquire about the current lot rent, the condition of the park and individual lots, any available amenities, and any ongoing efforts to address the issues raised in the reviews. A personal visit and thorough inspection of the premises would be essential before making any decisions. Potential residents or RVers should also consider seeking alternative "rv parks near me" in the North Fort Myers area that have more positive recent feedback regarding their environment, maintenance, and overall living conditions.
In conclusion, the available reviews for Jones Mobile Trailer Park in North Fort Myers present a concerning picture of a community struggling with maintenance issues and potentially high costs relative to the living conditions offered. While the location may be convenient, the internal environment and the state of the properties within the park appear to be significant drawbacks. Prospective residents and RVers should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering this park.

Jones Mobile Trailer Park Reviews
I was there to look at a place for sale. The lot rent at the time was reasonable for location, but I found out while inquiring it was going up to almost $700 ( which is not bad but for here!!!) If I had known this before I went, I would not have ever been curious. Please don't know what the lot rent is at this time so inquire if this is where you like to be. The work staff/residents seemed very interested in what was going on, not to help just well nosey it seemed. The area it is located in a general area, which is not that desirable but convenient for shopping and such. Most of the homes are run down, and the park itself was not maintained. There were a few homes that appeared to take pride in their lot, but not many. It is more of a full-time park it appeared to me not many open slots or ability to be ableto move a big vehicle tome anyway. I didn't see any amenities, but again, once I drove in, I just wanted to be respectful to the young lady selling and get out. No sightseeing. 🙃 I am unsure if the lot rent did raise, but with that, I would hope they used or are using it to make it more desirable. Personally, at the time, I would drive on by.
Aug 07, 2023 · Denise D “Just D” Tanner-SteevesI visited a friend here. I was in shock when I was told the amount of rent it costs. Truly "slumlord" type of living conditions. Most of the trailer's need to be removed because of less than adequate safety for comfortable living conditions!!!Someone in the county needs to go through and identify the "condemned" structures as inhabitable. Garbage, old furniture, cars piled in front of quite a few. If the rent is high for trailer park living, then one should be able to get what they pay for, comfortable living.Call out to condemn
Nov 12, 2021 · Gail AyresWas good when I first moved in. Recently changed owners and well. Been going down hill since. Giving it a one star ⭐ and that's a half star overrated. I have photos of one of our 2 managers going in to resident mail boxes. Which is a federal felony. The only persons authorized to go in to mail boxes is a mail carrier. New owners and management have been extremely hostile towards the residents. Don't move in to the park. Nothing but a headache.
Sep 01, 2020 · David MorinMy family has lived here for two years. Most all of the people in the park are good people. The manager is friendly and replaces things quickly when they break. She tries her best to work with people who are reasonable and respectful. They inspect the trailers often to make sure everyone is living clean and following the park rules.Located close to stores and a short drive to downtown Fort Myers.Sadly when you have weekly renters you get questionable people in the neighborhood. It has it's share of drunks, druggies, and thieves. When someone becomes a problem the will kick them out. I still keep all my doors locked all the time. The trailers that are self owned are well maintained. Some of the ones that are weekly are old, cobbled together, and some should just be pushed over. The roads are bumpy and can fill up with water when it rains. There are many free roaming cats so rats aren't an issue.Over all if you need a weekly rental this is one of the better place to rent weekly.
Jan 23, 2019 · Amber WaiteIts ok. The trailers are too close together and they ask for too much rent for the quality. But it does include utilities including wifi. Very little in way of security features in park. Although one thing going for it is the staff in office are very nice people, easy to get along with.
