Bellamont RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Bastrop, Texas area, Bellamont RV Park, situated at 160 FM 969, presents a location that some reviewers have found convenient. To provide a comprehensive and objective introduction, we will analyze the available customer reviews to highlight the reported environment, services, and features of this RV park. It is crucial to remember that these reviews reflect individual experiences and may not represent the views of all visitors.
One detailed review paints a negative picture of Bellamont RV Park, citing issues with the management, specifically naming an individual as rude and arrogant. This reviewer recounts a move-in experience involving a monthly spot fee and an electricity deposit. Upon moving out less than a month later, they reported being billed for electricity despite believing it was prepaid. Attempts to clarify the charges allegedly resulted in the manager hanging up on them. This account raises significant concerns about billing transparency and customer service.
Adding to the negative experience, the same reviewer claims to have lost a package delivered by USPS while staying at the park. This incident, if accurate, suggests potential issues with mail handling or security within the premises. Furthermore, the reviewer describes a disruptive experience with a water line repair, stating that residents received no prior notice and that they woke up to find no water supply. This lack of communication and potential disruption to basic services is a serious concern for any RV park resident.
The review also details the condition of the specific site occupied (#17), describing it as having "nasty sand" that entered the RV and ruts throughout the area. Additionally, the dirt roads within the park are described as being full of holes, potentially causing damage to vehicles. These descriptions suggest that the ground conditions and infrastructure of at least some parts of the park may be subpar.
In stark contrast, another reviewer offers a positive assessment of Bellamont RV Park. This guest describes it as a "professionally run rv park in a very convenient location." They specifically praise the great laundry and shower facilities, noting that they are air-conditioned. This suggests that the park does offer functional and comfortable amenity buildings. The reviewer also mentions that the staff is always willing to help with any questions and characterizes the park as quiet and well-managed. This positive feedback indicates that some guests have had a pleasant and well-supported experience at Bellamont RV Park.
The significant disparity between these two reviews highlights the potential for varied experiences at Bellamont RV Park. The negative review raises serious red flags regarding management conduct, billing practices, communication about essential services, and the condition of the grounds. Conversely, the positive review emphasizes the convenience of the location, the quality of the laundry and shower facilities, and the helpfulness of the staff.
For local users considering 'RV parks near me' and evaluating Bellamont RV Park, it is essential to weigh these contrasting perspectives. The park's location on FM 969 in Bastrop could indeed be convenient for those familiar with the area or needing access to specific locations nearby. The mention of air-conditioned laundry and showers is a notable amenity that could be appealing, especially during the warmer months in Texas.
However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding management rudeness, billing discrepancies, lack of communication about water outages, and the condition of the sites and roads cannot be dismissed lightly. Potential residents, even for short stays, should be aware of these reported issues and consider their potential impact on their experience. The claim of a lost package also raises concerns about the security and handling of deliveries within the park.
Given the conflicting feedback, local users might want to conduct further research or even visit Bellamont RV Park in person to assess the conditions and interact with the management themselves, if possible. Asking specific questions about billing procedures, utility outages, package handling, and the condition of the sites and roads would be prudent before making a commitment.
The information available does not provide details about the total number of sites, the availability of full hookups, Wi-Fi access, pet policies, or other amenities that are often important factors for RV travelers. Therefore, local users should seek this information directly from the park management to get a complete picture of what Bellamont RV Park offers.
In conclusion, Bellamont RV Park in Bastrop, TX, presents a mixed profile based on the limited online reviews. While one reviewer found the location convenient and praised the laundry and shower facilities and helpful staff, another reported significant negative experiences with management, billing, communication, and the condition of the park grounds. Local users searching for 'RV parks near me' should carefully consider these contrasting accounts and conduct their own due diligence, including direct inquiries to the park management, to determine if Bellamont RV Park meets their individual needs and expectations. The potential for both positive and negative experiences suggests that a thorough personal assessment might be beneficial.

Bellamont RV Park Reviews
Rude and arrogant management Isabella is her name. Worst park I had ever stayed at. I was charged $930 11/03/23 moving in. $730 for the monthly spot and $200 for the Electric deposit. When I moved out 11/30/23. I got billed for $97.24 for electric when i made the call and explained that my electricity was payed for in advance she got mad and hung up on me.I also lost $300 dollars on a package the got delivered by USPSAlso if they decide to work on a water line u would NOT get a notice at all. Me working nights i woke up to no water luckily i had two bars left on my fresh tank or otherwise i would've been out of luck.I would never go back to this park. Im saving you a headache.I was in spot #17 nasty sand all in your rig and ruts everywhere. The dirt Road on the park is full of holes You would need to replace your struts or your front end.

Sep 12, 2023 · Carlton LindseyWhat a jewel of a find! quiet, clean and well managed. So close to Austin, and downtown Bastrop too! H.E.B. right up th road, and two laundry rooms on site :). Surrounded by green areas and a pond, and high end homes a mile away. Stayed for 3 months while visiting family, and plan to return.
May 28, 2023 · Wri TerWhat a great little park! It is minutes from everything important in Bastrop, yet still manages to feel pastoral and isolated in the way you want a park to feel isolated. The owner/manager is a very wonderful lady who seems to really care for her guests. I highly recommend this park if there is a spot available to you!
Feb 23, 2021 · Mark ProegerThis is the perfect little rv park! Close enough to anything you might need, either in nearby Bastrop or 20 minutes away to Austin. But far enough that you are out of the hub-bub of town. There are laundry, wif-fi and mailboxes available. This park is clean, well kept and pretty quiet. The owner, Isabella, is very kind and responsive to requests. She also has great knowledge about the local area and places to go, things to do! If we are ever back down in Texas, we would be sure to stay at Bellamont!
