Wow, where do I begin. First of all being right off of hwy 26 is as loud as I’ve ever experienced. All the time. Very dangerous to pull out of and just overall crazy. The issues with the trees cause a lot of power outages thru winter. How the park looks in general is bad. Pat sells the gravel instead of applying it thru the park for tenants to drive thru. Some old couch by the dumpsters for 21/2 years. He refuses to haul it off. Hoarders too and I guess that’s ok. No enforcement with tenants keeping a clean environment. The park manager (Pat Curran) at Bigfoot is a nightmare. He looks the other way with enforcing rules as long as he is paid to do so by tenants. He rips off so many people there its terrible. He body shames women and will video tape you when you’re not paying any attention. He is so creepy idk how he has kept this job. If he tells you he use to be with the CIA, run. He definitely has a problem with respecting women. Always riding his bike in everyone’s business. I have nothing positive to share with the couple years I lived there. There are a lot of mobile home parks to chose from in that area. Nothing beneficial will come of anyone living there. Its awful with current manager Patrick Curran. - Amy Singleton

The available customer reviews for Big Foot Mobile Home Park paint a mixed picture, with significant concerns raised by some former residents alongside a positive experience reported by a current resident. One of the primary issues highlighted is the park's location directly off Highway 26. A reviewer describes the noise level as "as loud as I’ve ever experienced," characterizing it as constant and potentially disruptive for those seeking a quiet environment. This reviewer also notes safety concerns regarding pulling out of the park onto the highway, labeling it as "very dangerous" and "overall crazy." For RV travelers or long-term residents prioritizing peace and safety, this proximity to a major highway could be a significant drawback.

Further criticisms from the same reviewer address the park's physical condition and management. Issues with trees allegedly cause frequent power outages during the winter months. The overall appearance of the park is described as "bad," and there are accusations of mismanagement regarding maintenance. Specifically, the reviewer claims that the park manager, identified as Pat Curran, sells gravel instead of using it for park road maintenance. An example of neglect cited is an old couch reportedly left by the dumpsters for an extended period of two and a half years without being removed. The reviewer also alleges a lack of enforcement regarding tenants maintaining a clean environment, mentioning issues with hoarders within the park.

The conduct of the park manager, Pat Curran, is a central point of concern for this reviewer, who labels him a "nightmare." Allegations include a failure to enforce park rules in exchange for payment from certain tenants, as well as accusations of ripping off residents, body shaming women, and secretly videotaping individuals. The reviewer also describes the manager as "creepy" and advises caution regarding claims he might make about past affiliations. A general sentiment of a negative experience during a couple of years of residency leads this reviewer to strongly advise against living at Big Foot Mobile Home Park, suggesting that there are better options available in the area.

Another brief review echoes these negative sentiments, simply stating, "Its awful with current manager Patrick Curran." This reinforces the serious concerns raised about the park's management and its potential impact on the living experience.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced view, as one recent reviewer who has lived at Big Foot Mobile Home Park for a year offers a contrasting perspective. This individual states that they "love the park and the property manager," describing the community as "very nice and friendly." This positive feedback suggests that not all residents share the negative experiences detailed by the other reviewers. It is possible that there have been changes in management or park conditions, or that different residents have varying experiences.

Given these starkly contrasting opinions, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment, services, and features of Big Foot Mobile Home Park for potential RV residents. Typically, RV parks offer a range of amenities, which might include:

  • **RV Hookups:** Essential connections for electricity, water, and sewer. The availability and reliability of these would be important to ascertain.
  • **RV Site Conditions:** The size and levelness of RV sites, as well as the ease of access and maneuvering, are important considerations.
  • **Basic Amenities:** Laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers are common in RV parks. The cleanliness and upkeep of these facilities can vary.
  • **Waste Disposal:** Proper facilities for trash and sewage disposal are necessary.
  • **Water Access:** Availability of potable water for RV use.
  • **Wi-Fi:** Increasingly expected by RV travelers.
  • **Pet Policies:** Rules regarding pets are important for those traveling with animals.
  • **Safety and Security:** The proximity to a busy highway, as noted in a negative review, might raise concerns about safety within the park.

Based on the limited and conflicting information, it is difficult to identify clear promotional points for Big Foot Mobile Home Park. The positive review highlights a "very nice and friendly community" and satisfaction with the property manager, which could be attractive to some. However, the serious allegations in the negative reviews regarding noise, safety, park maintenance, and management practices cannot be ignored and would likely deter many prospective residents.

For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Sandy, OR, and considering Big Foot Mobile Home Park, it is imperative to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough personal due diligence. This should include:

  • **Contacting the park directly:** Call (503) 765-5256 or +1 503-765-5256 to inquire about RV site availability, amenities, and policies. Be prepared to ask detailed questions based on the concerns raised in the negative reviews.
  • **Visiting the park in person:** A visit would allow you to assess the noise level from Highway 26 firsthand, observe the general condition of the park, and potentially speak with current residents (if they are willing) to get a broader range of opinions.
  • **Specifically inquire about management practices:** Directly address the concerns raised in the negative reviews with the current management and seek clarification or assurances.
  • **Assess safety and accessibility:** Carefully evaluate the ease and safety of entering and exiting the park with an RV, considering its location on a busy highway.
  • **Look for alternative reviews:** Search for any additional reviews on other platforms to get a more comprehensive picture of the park.

Given the significant negative feedback regarding noise, safety, maintenance, and especially park management, prospective RV residents should weigh these concerns very carefully against the single positive review. It is possible that the positive experience reflects recent improvements or a different perspective, but the serious allegations warrant thorough investigation before making any commitment to stay at Big Foot Mobile Home Park.

In conclusion, Big Foot Mobile Home Park in Sandy, OR, presents a location directly off Highway 26, which has been cited as a significant source of noise and safety concerns by one reviewer. Conflicting opinions exist regarding the park's management and community atmosphere. While one resident reports a positive experience, multiple negative reviews raise serious issues about park conditions and management practices. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in this area should proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough personal investigation before considering Big Foot Mobile Home Park.
