Situated near Columbus, Texas, this RV resort provides a range of accommodation options, from daily and weekly stays to monthly and permanent arrangements. While one review notes significant road noise due to its proximity to the interstate, the park is praised for its facilities, friendly owner Ron, and full hookups, making it a practical choice for various travel needs.
Location and Environment:
Bluebonnet Meadow RV Park's primary locational attribute is its immediate access to Interstate 10. This "right off I 10" positioning, as mentioned by a reviewer, offers unparalleled convenience for those traveling along this major highway. Its proximity to Columbus, Texas, places it within reach of local amenities and services that the town might offer, although specific details about nearby attractions are not provided in the reviews.
One of the notable environmental features of the park is a "nice little lake for fishing." This amenity provides a recreational opportunity for guests who enjoy angling or simply appreciate a water feature within the RV park. It suggests a more developed setting than just a basic parking lot, offering a touch of nature and relaxation.
However, it is crucial to acknowledge the significant drawback mentioned by one reviewer: "Lots of road noise. IH-10 is out your front door." This implies that the convenience of highway access comes at the cost of a potentially noisy environment due to the constant flow of traffic. Local users sensitive to noise levels should consider this factor when evaluating Bluebonnet Meadow RV Park.
Despite the noise, the park is described as a "fairly new RV resort," suggesting modern infrastructure and potentially well-laid-out spaces. The mention of a clubhouse further indicates a level of development aimed at providing guest comfort and convenience.
The environment of Bluebonnet Meadow RV Park is characterized by its ease of access from I-10 and the presence of a fishing lake, balanced against the potential for significant road noise.

Apr 13, 2025 · Joey HowardI went to Bluebonnet Meadows RV Park the park is very clean and the managers are very pleasant. We stayed in a cabin the cabin was clean and decorated in excellent taste. The shower in the cabin had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The cabin had a very nice deck and the view was wonderful. There was a shower room/laundry facility and was excellent and was very clean. The lake was beautiful and stocked with fish. This stay was worth going to and I will definitely plan on going again.
Jun 25, 2024 · Janice CarpenterPark manager/owner is one of the rudest most unprofessional people I have ever met. He is constantly degrading the working men staying in his park as if they are not worthy of his time.
