Bluff Dale RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Bluff Dale, Texas area, Bluff Dale RV Park, situated at 27929 US-377, Bluff Dale, TX 76433, USA, presents itself as a conveniently located option right off Highway 377 with easy access in and out. The park has received mixed reviews from visitors, indicating a fluctuating experience depending on the time of year and specific incidents encountered.
One older review noted "Nice little rv park" with a quiet atmosphere and neighbors who didn't bother others. The park was described as having "full hook ups," although the reviewer mentioned that the grounds were "all dirt" and the specific spot they occupied was "a bit uneven." At the time of that review, the manager was praised as "the nicest, kindest and understanding person" the reviewer had met, leading them to state they "would honestly come back." The park was also noted for its easy access to Highway 377 and a quick drive to Stephenville.
However, more recent feedback paints a less favorable picture, particularly concerning the summer months. A significant issue highlighted in a recent edit is the overwhelming presence of mosquitoes, described as "sworms of them." The reviewer stated that the infestation was so severe that they couldn't even open their RV door without mosquitoes attempting to enter. This suggests a potentially uncomfortable environment during warmer seasons for those wishing to enjoy the outdoors or even simply enter and exit their RV.
Another serious concern raised in the recent review involves a specific incident with a dog and its owner. According to the reviewer, a black and white collie was allowed to relieve itself "everywhere he wants," including on other people's RVs. Disturbingly, the dog was also described as "aggressive" and allegedly attempted to attack the reviewer and their dogs. The reviewer's scream reportedly scared the dog off. The interaction with the dog's owner was described as negative, with no apology offered and the owner allegedly becoming angry after the incident. This raises significant concerns about pet policies and the safety of guests and their animals at the park.
Furthermore, the recent review detailed a negative interaction with the manager during check-in. The reviewer stated that the assigned spot was too short, and there was another seemingly available spot. When they inquired about it, the manager allegedly responded rudely and condescendingly, even disputing the color of the reviewer's truck in an unhelpful manner. This contrasts sharply with the earlier positive feedback regarding the manager's demeanor. The reviewer expressed disappointment, stating that they had chosen this smaller park for business but would not return, especially after the dog attack incident. This inconsistency in management experience could be a point of concern for potential visitors.
Based on the available information, Bluff Dale RV Park offers a location with easy access to Highway 377 and proximity to Stephenville. It provides full hookups for RVs. However, potential guests should be aware of the recent negative feedback concerning severe mosquito issues during the summer, problems with an off-leash and aggressive dog and the owner's reaction, and inconsistent experiences with the management. The park's environment is described as "all dirt," and at least one spot was noted as uneven.
Promotional information is limited based on the provided reviews. The earlier positive review could be seen as a past endorsement, highlighting the quiet atmosphere and a positive interaction with the manager during a specific time (the freeze). However, the recent negative review significantly outweighs this with serious concerns about the summer environment and safety. There is no mention of specific amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or recreational areas in either review.
For local users considering "RV campgrounds Bluff Dale TX," it is crucial to weigh the convenience of the location and the presence of full hookups against the reported issues with mosquitoes, pet management, and inconsistent management behavior. The stark contrast between the older and newer reviews suggests that the park's conditions and management approach may have changed or are inconsistent.
If you are considering Bluff Dale RV Park, it would be prudent to contact them directly at (254) 977-0627 or +1 254-977-0627 to inquire about the current conditions, mosquito control measures, pet policies, and any recent changes in management or park rules. Asking specific questions about the availability and condition of amenities would also be advisable. Given the recent negative experiences shared by a guest, it would be wise to gather current information before making a booking decision to ensure a comfortable and safe stay.
In summary, while Bluff Dale RV Park offers a convenient location off Highway 377 near Stephenville and provides full hookups, potential visitors should be aware of recent negative reviews citing significant mosquito problems in the summer, issues with an aggressive off-leash dog and the owner's response, and inconsistent management experiences. It is recommended to contact the park directly for the most up-to-date information before making a reservation.

Bluff Dale RV Park Reviews
Edit:Came here on the freeze and it was niceBut now in summer, damn. This place is ridden with mosquitos! Sworms of them. I can't even open the door without them trying to get inside. There's this one guy with a black and white collie, he let's him so his business everywhere he wants! Of course even peeing other people's rvs! And not only that but the dog is aggressive! It tried to attack me and my dogs. I think my scream scared him off since im loud. The owner? Didn't gove an inch! He just after the fact called his dog to get in after a bit of struggle. No apology no nothing. Like if it was my fault. He got inside his camper all mad that his off leash aggresive dog tried to attacke me.When ee pulled in we also has a new and bad experince with the manager. We told her the spot she gave us was too short and that there was someone parked rather close that we didn't want to bother. There was another spot available and we asked about it. And i say available cause in the 3 days here no one was come. Anyways she was having a very rude tone and asked what color truck it was. We told her. She was like no, nahah, there is no truck in the rv park with that color! My husband and i looked at each other amd where like ok?🤨. We even asked our kids. Mind you 3 are old and know their colors and they 3 said it looked grey. So yeah this lady was probably just going through something cause she was so nice last time but she was very rude and condencending this time. Honestly the only reason that we didn't stay at Vw's spot is because we wanted to do business with this rather smaller rv park but no way are we coming back. Specially after that lose dog attack. I have kids and honestly id have a border collie pelt on my doortep if it would've attacked my kids!Old review when the freese hit:Nice little rv parkQuiet. Neighbors don't botherIt's all dirt though and the spot we had was a bit uneven. Full hooks ups. I don't think there was any amenities, not that I saw. The manager is the nicest, kindest and understanding person I've met. I would honestly come back
