Pine Ridge Campground Introduce
For local users seeking a "camping near me" experience in the Roebuck, South Carolina area, Pine Ridge Campground, located at 199 Pineridge Campground Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376, USA, offers a family-friendly environment with a mix of appreciated amenities and some points to consider. Based on recent customer reviews, the campground boasts nice grounds, hot showers with good pressure, and paved patios at the campsites. It is also noted for its proximity to various attractions. However, potential guests should be aware that the campsites are described as being on the smaller side, and some concerns have been raised regarding the cleanliness of the bathrooms at certain times and the level of activity from children in the evenings.
The environment at Pine Ridge Campground is generally perceived as pleasant. One reviewer described it as a "Nice park," and another noted that "the grounds" were "always very clean." This suggests that the management takes care in maintaining the overall appearance and tidiness of the campground. The presence of paved patios at the campsites is a notable feature, providing a clean and defined outdoor living space for campers to set up their chairs, tables, and other belongings. However, it's important to note that the "Sites are small" or "on the smaller side," which might be a consideration for those with larger camping setups or those who prefer more space between sites.
In terms of services and features, Pine Ridge Campground offers some appreciated amenities. The availability of "nice" bathrooms with "warm and great hot water and pressure" in the showers is a significant positive, especially for those camping in cooler weather or who value a comfortable showering experience. However, one reviewer did mention instances of "mud in the showers," indicating that the cleanliness of the bathrooms might not be consistently maintained at a high level throughout the day or during peak usage times. It's worth noting that another reviewer found the "bath house was always very clean," suggesting that cleanliness might vary or that efforts are made to maintain it effectively.
A notable feature of the campsites is the inclusion of "paved patios," which provide a stable and clean surface for outdoor living. This is a step up from traditional gravel or grass pads and can enhance the overall comfort and enjoyment of the campsite. The presence of paved patios suggests a degree of investment in the infrastructure of the campground.
The reviews indicate that Pine Ridge Campground is a family-oriented place with "the amount of children running around until 9pm." While this can contribute to a lively and engaging atmosphere for families with kids, one reviewer expressed a complaint about the noise and activity levels, including "Bikes and scooters constantly flying by, screaming, a few foul words to each other in their groups." This suggests that the campground might have a more active and potentially noisy environment in the evenings, which could be a concern for those seeking a quieter and more peaceful camping experience.
Another point to be aware of, mentioned by one reviewer, is that "The drive way is a bit rough in spots FYI, use caution, especially with those bigger rigs." This suggests that accessing the campground might require careful navigation, particularly for those with larger RVs or trailers. Potential guests should be prepared for uneven terrain on the entrance road.
One positive aspect mentioned in a review is that there are "Lots of things to do in the park and nearby." This suggests that Pine Ridge Campground offers recreational opportunities within its grounds, although the specific activities are not detailed. Additionally, its location near Roebuck, SC, provides access to local attractions and amenities, enhancing the overall appeal of the campground as a base for exploration and activities in the area. Local users might want to inquire about specific on-site amenities and nearby points of interest when contacting the campground.
The reviews do not provide any information regarding specific promotional offers or discounts that might be available at Pine Ridge Campground. Local users interested in learning about potential deals for extended stays, seasonal rates, or group bookings should contact the campground directly using the provided phone numbers, (864) 576-0302 or +1 864-576-0302, to inquire about current pricing and any available promotions. This direct communication will also allow potential guests to ask specific questions about site availability, amenities, and any campground rules or regulations.
In conclusion, Pine Ridge Campground near Roebuck, SC, offers a family-friendly "camping near me" option with paved patios, generally clean grounds, and hot showers with good water pressure. Its location provides access to both on-site activities and nearby attractions. However, potential guests should be aware that the campsites are on the smaller side, and there have been mentions of inconsistent bathroom cleanliness and significant noise and activity from children in the evenings. Additionally, the driveway to the campground is noted as being somewhat rough. For local users seeking a campground with these characteristics, Pine Ridge Campground could be a viable option, but it's advisable to weigh the pros and cons based on individual preferences for campsite size, noise levels, and bathroom cleanliness. Contacting the campground directly for more detailed information and to inquire about current rates and promotions is recommended.

Pine Ridge Campground Reviews
Nice park, was here over the Thanksgiving weekend. Sites are small, bathrooms were nice but not really that clean, mud in the showers, but warm and great hot water and pressure. My only complaint is the amount of children running around until 9pm. Bikes and scooters constantly flying by, screaming, a few foul words to each other in their groups. I feel that could have been avoided. Camper across from our site sounded at times like it had a bull trapped inside.
Dec 03, 2024 · Tommy O'NealSites are on the smaller side, but we did enjoy the paved patios. The bath house was always very clean, as we're the grounds. The showers took a minute but then they were hot and the pressure was great. Lots of things to do in the park and nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. The drive way is a bit rough in spots FYI, use caution, especially with those bigger rigs.
Nov 18, 2024 · CraftinWifes CreationsVery nice, well-maintained campground. We stayed at site 4 for a long weekend for fall break and really enjoyed our stay. Site 4 is a premium site with a concrete pad and lounge type area overlooking the pond. Highly recommend site 4! Also really liked the looks of sites 50 and 1. Lots of shade for most sites. Site 1 is kind of secluded. Our 41.5' rig fit nicely in site 4.Kayaks and paddle boats available for the pond. Seasonal pool area. Dog friendly.Reasonable drive to Greenville and Spartanburg for day trips from campground.Camp store is nice with gifts and forgotten necessities. Campground employees are very friendly.Overall, a relaxed, clean, family environment.
Oct 15, 2024 · Erin FraverVery nice quaint and extremely quiet campground. Great pond for fishing, and everything seemed to be in walking distance. Kids enjoyed it (age 11 and 13) ❤️. Looked a little sketchy at first when driving through, but those homes were not part of the campground. The lady in the office was wonderful, cute little office/store.
Jun 17, 2024 · Coleen FairclothLisa and the ladies in the office are great. All sites are full hook-up. The main bathroom/shower house is large and clean. The laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers that take quarters. The amenities are great and they always plan activities for holidays and weekends. The only (small) downfall is the pavement throughout the main campground is rough in some spots and the phase II parking lot is all gravel so it gets pretty dusty. I cant wait to come back and stay!
