Blytheville RV Park

Don’t stay here! The place is unkempt with broken equipment and no pride in ownership. Trash everywhere. Shedded plastic from past mowing. Not recent either. Welding debris from sign work. No one has the time for sweeping.Or grass cutting. I read the reviews and I brought my electric weed eater and blower. It’s a noisy place. If you’re lucky, traffic will slack off and you can hear the train. $40 per night.13 full time renters. 2 open spaces had damaged 30 amp oulets and space 10 50 amp outlet had one leg out.On the good side, we elected to stay here for 3 nights. Everyone was very nice to us. And we would stay again. We’ve driven past this place many, many times but never needed to stop. We came here for the antique bus rally.I see the owner has disavowed our stay. This place is typical in that a quality business cannot be supported and closes. In comes some East Indian and pays nothing for a failing business. They cut expenditures and offer cut-rate services. Thus you get a dirty environment, broken equipment and few services. I gave the place 4 stars only because we chose those conditions. That doesn’t mean the place was good. - William E.

Blytheville RV Park Introduce

For local users seeking "RV parks near me" in Blytheville, Arkansas, Blytheville RV Park, located at 102 S Porter Dr, Blytheville, AR 72315, USA, presents a camping option with mixed reviews. You can contact them at (870) 763-1241 or +1 870-763-1241 for inquiries. Based on recent customer feedback, it's crucial for potential visitors to be aware of both the positive and negative aspects reported to make an informed decision.

The environment of Blytheville RV Park appears to be a point of concern for some visitors. One reviewer described the place as "unkempt" with "trash everywhere" and accumulated debris such as "shedded plastic from past mowing" and "welding debris." This suggests a lack of consistent upkeep and attention to the overall cleanliness of the grounds. The absence of regular sweeping and grass cutting was also noted. Additionally, the park is described as "noisy" due to its proximity to the highway, with train noise being audible when traffic subsides. This could be a significant factor for those seeking a quiet and peaceful camping experience. However, another reviewer who stayed for an antique bus rally mentioned that "everyone was very nice to us," indicating a potentially friendly atmosphere despite the environmental concerns.

The services and amenities at Blytheville RV Park seem to be basic and potentially unreliable, according to the reviews:

  • Electricity: Electricity is mentioned as the only reliable utility in one review where the water was frozen and the sewer inaccessible due to snow and ice.
  • Damaged Electrical Outlets: Specific issues with electrical infrastructure were reported, including damaged 30 amp outlets in two open spaces and a 50 amp outlet in space 10 with one leg out. This raises concerns about the functionality and safety of the electrical hookups.
  • Limited Amenities: The reviews do not mention standard RV park amenities such as Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, or laundry facilities. The focus is primarily on the basic utilities, which have been reported as problematic.
  • Sewer Access Issues: In at least one instance, sewer access was unavailable due to snow and ice, highlighting potential seasonal limitations.

The stark contrast in one review, where the guest brought their own electric weed eater and blower due to the lack of grounds maintenance, underscores the potential for a lack of expected services. The price of $40 per night was mentioned in a review that also detailed the noise and maintenance issues, suggesting that the cost might not align with the perceived quality of the park.

Features of Blytheville RV Park are not extensively highlighted in a positive light in the recent reviews. The primary feature seems to be its availability as a stopover for travelers needing basic hookups. However, the reliability of these hookups, particularly water and sewer in certain conditions, is questionable based on the feedback. The presence of "13 full time renters" suggests a community aspect, but the experience for transient campers might differ significantly. The mention of the owner having "disavowed our stay" in one review, along with a commentary on the perceived decline in quality and service under new management, raises concerns about the current operational standards and customer relations.

Promotional information is absent from the provided reviews. Local users would need to contact the park directly to inquire about current rates, availability, and any specific offers. Given the feedback regarding the park's condition and services, it would be prudent to ask detailed questions about the functionality of all utilities, the upkeep of the grounds, and the availability of any additional amenities before making a reservation.

The reviews of Blytheville RV Park paint a concerning picture regarding its maintenance and reliability of services. While one reviewer who stayed for a specific event had a positive interaction with the people, the issues of unkempt grounds, noise, and potentially faulty utilities are significant drawbacks. The commentary about a decline in quality under new management should also be taken into consideration by prospective visitors. The fact that a guest felt compelled to bring their own lawn maintenance equipment speaks volumes about the perceived lack of care for the property.

For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Blytheville RV Park appears to be a basic option that may be suitable only for those with minimal requirements and a tolerance for noise and potential maintenance issues. The reported problems with electrical outlets and the seasonal inaccessibility of water and sewer are serious considerations. While the friendliness of some individuals encountered at the park is a positive note, it may not outweigh the environmental and infrastructural concerns raised in the reviews.

Before considering a stay at Blytheville RV Park, local users are strongly advised to call the provided phone numbers and ask detailed questions about the current condition of the park, the functionality of all utilities, the upkeep of the grounds, and the availability of any amenities. It would be wise to inquire if the electrical issues reported in the reviews have been addressed and what measures are in place to ensure the reliability of water and sewer services, especially during colder months. Given the negative feedback regarding cleanliness and maintenance, it might also be prudent to seek more recent reviews from other sources if available.

In conclusion, Blytheville RV Park in Blytheville, AR, currently presents a mixed and largely negative picture based on recent customer reviews. While some visitors have found the people to be friendly, significant concerns have been raised regarding the unkempt environment, noise from the highway, and potential issues with basic utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully weigh these reported drawbacks against the basic need for a camping stop and are strongly encouraged to seek further information and clarification from the park management before making a decision.
