Shearin RV Park Introduce
For local users in the Blytheville, Arkansas area, or those passing through and searching within the platform category of "RV parks near me," Shearin RV Park, located at 2965 US-61, Blytheville, AR 72315, USA, presents itself as an option for both short and potentially extended stays. Based on the available customer reviews, the park offers a convenient location and is under new management, but experiences regarding site availability and overall atmosphere appear to vary.
One reviewer described Shearin RV Park as a "decent spot for a quick stay," assigning it a rating of 3.5 stars, indicating it was "a little better than okay but didn't necessarily 'like' it." This suggests that while the park might be adequate for a brief overnight stop, it may lack some of the amenities or atmosphere that would make for a more memorable or preferred longer stay.
A significant point raised by another reviewer concerns the availability of pull-through sites versus back-in sites. This guest called an hour before arrival and was informed that there were "plenty" of pull-through spots available. However, upon arrival, they found that only one back-in spot was available. The reason given was that "the people that live there had their cars & trucks parked in all the empty spots!" This situation caused inconvenience as the long-term residents allegedly did not offer to move their vehicles, forcing the arriving guest to park in the only available back-in spot at the far end of the campground. This experience suggests potential issues with site management and the allocation of spaces between short-term and long-term residents.
This same reviewer indicated that they "would only stop for a 1 nighter again if I had to," further reinforcing the idea that while suitable for a brief stopover, the park might not be the first choice for a more extended or leisurely stay due to the issues encountered.
On a more positive note, a different reviewer mentioned that Shearin RV Park is "very well located" and is currently "under new management." This change in management could potentially lead to improvements in the park's facilities and overall operation in the future. The same reviewer also noted the presence of a "laundry building and a single bath house," indicating that these basic amenities are available for guests. Furthermore, they explicitly stated that "You can stay here one night or up to a lifetime," confirming that the park accommodates both transient and long-term residents.
Based on these reviews, the following aspects of Shearin RV Park can be summarized:
- **Convenient Location:** Situated on US-61 in Blytheville, suggesting good accessibility.
- **New Management:** The park is currently under new management, which could imply potential changes or improvements.
- **Laundry Facility:** A laundry building is available for guests' convenience.
- **Bath House:** A single bath house is present on the premises.
- **Accommodates Both Short and Long-Term Stays:** Welcoming guests for overnight stops as well as extended periods.
However, potential guests should also be aware of the following points raised by the reviews:
- **Limited Availability of Pull-Through Sites:** Despite assurances of availability, pull-through sites might be occupied by vehicles of long-term residents.
- **Potential Issues with Site Management:** The parking of extra vehicles by long-term residents in empty spots can restrict site availability for short-term visitors.
- **Atmosphere for Short Stays:** At least one reviewer found it to be just "decent" and not particularly engaging for a short visit.
- **Limited Amenities Mentioned:** Only laundry and a single bath house are specifically noted, suggesting potentially basic facilities.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Shearin RV Park, local users and those passing through might want to inquire about the following:
- **Number and Type of RV Sites:** Specifically, the number of pull-through versus back-in sites and their hookup capabilities (water, electricity, sewer).
- **Details of Amenities:** Beyond laundry and the bath house, are there other amenities such as Wi-Fi, recreational areas, pet policies, etc.?
- **Management Policies Regarding Site Allocation:** How are sites managed between short-term and long-term residents to ensure availability for transient guests?
- **Any Recent or Planned Improvements Under New Management:** What changes or upgrades are being implemented or are planned for the park?
- **Pricing Structure:** What are the daily, weekly, and monthly rates?
The mention of "new management" is a potentially significant factor. It is possible that some of the past issues raised in older reviews are being addressed or will be in the future. Prospective guests might find it beneficial to contact the park directly to inquire about any changes and to get a current perspective on the park's environment and services.
As the provided information does not include any specific promotional offers or highlights from the park management, this introduction is based solely on the experiences shared by a limited number of reviewers. The convenience of the location on US-61 and the fact that both short and long-term stays are welcome could be seen as inherent benefits. However, the potential challenges related to site availability and the somewhat unenthusiastic feedback from at least one short-term visitor warrant careful consideration.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Blytheville area, Shearin RV Park presents a conveniently located option that accommodates various lengths of stay and is under new management. However, potential guests should be prepared to inquire specifically about site availability, especially for pull-through spots, and to understand the full range of amenities offered beyond the laundry and single bath house mentioned. Contacting Shearin RV Park directly at (870) 532-8090 or +1 870-532-8090 would be a prudent step to gather the most current information and determine if it meets individual needs and expectations for an RV stay.

Shearin RV Park Reviews
Decent spot for a quick stay, but not much going on. 3.5 stars... a little better than okay but didn't necessarily 'like' it.Mainly long-term folks. Wanted to get a pull through & was told there were plenty when I called an hour before my arrival but when I arrived there was only 1 back in spot available bc the people that live there had their cars & trucks parked in all the empty spots! They saw us driving around, but no one offered to make space for us. We just parked in the only back-in available at the very end of the campground.Would only stop for a 1 nighter again if I had to.

Apr 09, 2025 · Jennifer ReedA nice park. The owner and managers are very nice. Laundry is kept clean. $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Only once was a washer out of order. Didn't use the restroom there but I'm betting it was clean too. We absolutely loved our neighbors. They had a crayfish boil and invited us over. Good sized yard. I loved the "stray" dog (Princess) so much that had she been there when we left, I'd have snatched her up. We would definitely absolutely 100% stay here again.

Nov 22, 2024 · Sandra l LancasterBEWARE! Would not recommend staying here. I booked on rover pass six months before my stay. Showed up to check in, nobody in the office an didn’t answer phone call. I received a text message saying they were full and had no short term spots available. Very nice lady greeted me and had the owner on the phone, he proceeded to tell me that he cancelled all rover pass reservations and had a long term tenant moving in the next morning. All in all we were allowed to stay the night as planned. I would not recommend if your not a long term stay.
