Branson Lakeside RV Park Introduce
For local travelers and those visiting the vibrant entertainment hub of Branson, Missouri, Branson Lakeside RV Park, located at 300 Boxcar Willie Dr, Branson, MO 65616, USA, presents a conveniently situated option within the category of “RV parks near me.” Based on recent customer reviews, this city campground offers full hookups and exceptional proximity to downtown Branson's attractions, shopping, and dining. While some aspects like site size and cleanliness frequency of facilities have received mixed feedback, its location and certain amenities make it a noteworthy consideration for those prioritizing access to the city.
The environment of Branson Lakeside RV Park is characterized by its urban setting. As one reviewer notes, being a “city campground downtown” means that sites are “pretty close together,” which is a common expectation in such locations where maximizing space is often necessary. However, this proximity is counterbalanced by the unparalleled convenience of being within easy walking distance to the “mall area for shopping and dining.” This prime location allows guests to immerse themselves in Branson's lively atmosphere without the need for extensive travel. While the park may lack the sprawling natural landscapes of more remote campgrounds, its urban environment provides immediate access to a wide range of entertainment and essential services.
In terms of services, Branson Lakeside RV Park offers full hookups at each site, which typically includes water, electricity, and sewer connections – a significant advantage for RV travelers. The park also provides essential amenities such as bathrooms and showers, although one reviewer pointed out that these were cleaned less frequently than the posted schedule (once during a week-long stay when the sign indicated twice weekly cleaning). Additionally, the park features a laundry room with clean and working machines (washer at $2.00 per load, dryer at $1.75 per load), offering a valuable service for longer stays. For pet owners, there is a “small fenced-in dog park area,” providing a dedicated space for furry companions to exercise. The staff is consistently described as “very friendly,” contributing to a positive overall experience despite some of the park's physical limitations.
Features of Branson Lakeside RV Park include a variety of sites to accommodate different RV sizes. One reviewer specifically recommended site 50, noting that it is at the end and appears to offer more space compared to most other sites, particularly suitable for larger RVs. This suggests that while some sites may feel close together, there are potentially more spacious options available. The ability to reserve a specific type of lot online, such as one with a lake view, is also a feature, although one customer experienced disappointment when their reserved lake-view site was not guaranteed and they were placed in a location with a significant noise issue from passing trains. This highlights a potential discrepancy between online booking expectations and actual site assignment upon arrival, advising caution regarding specific site guarantees. The park's central location is arguably its most significant feature, providing unparalleled access to Branson's main attractions and entertainment venues.
Promotional information gleaned from the reviews includes a potential discount for longer stays, as one guest mentioned receiving their “7th night free” when paying $55 per night. This suggests that the park may offer weekly rates or similar promotions, making it a more economical option for extended visits. To obtain the most current information on pricing, site availability, and any ongoing promotions, it is recommended to contact Branson Lakeside RV Park directly at (417) 334-2915 or +1 417-334-2915. Inquiring directly will provide the most accurate details for your specific travel dates and RV size.

For local users and tourists seeking “RV parks near me” in Branson, the central location of Branson Lakeside RV Park is a major draw, providing walkability to key downtown areas. The availability of full hookups and amenities like laundry and a dog park add to its convenience. However, potential guests should be aware of the close proximity of sites and the reported inconsistencies in bathroom cleaning schedules and site assignment guarantees. Weighing these factors against the undeniable advantage of its location is crucial when considering this campground for a Branson getaway.
In conclusion, Branson Lakeside RV Park offers a no-frills camping experience with an exceptional location in the heart of Branson, Missouri. Its full hookups, laundry facilities, and pet-friendly area provide essential amenities, while its walkability to shopping and dining is a significant advantage. However, potential guests should consider the close site spacing and the reported issues with bathroom cleanliness and site guarantees. For those prioritizing convenience and city access, Branson Lakeside RV Park remains a viable option among “RV parks near me,” and direct contact with the park is recommended to clarify current rates and availability and to manage expectations regarding site specifics.

Branson Lakeside RV Park Reviews
We stayed 7 nights at this city campground. There are a variety of sites with full hookups. The sites are pretty close together, but that is likely to be expected with a city campground downtown. We paid $55/night for site 50, and we got our 7th night free. Highly recommend site 50 if your RV fits because it’s at the end and seems to have more space than most the other sites. The staff was very friendly. It’s a very easy walk to the mall area for shopping and dining. There is a small fenced in dog park area at the campground. There are bathrooms and showers, as well. Unfortunately, the bathrooms and showers were only cleaned once during our week long stay. The sign on the bathhouse says they are cleaned twice a week. There is also a laundry room on site. The machines were clean and in working order ($2 for washer, $1.75 for dryer). If you’re looking for a convenient location to experience Branson, I would recommend this campground. It’s a no-frills campground, and I would have given more stars if the sites were a little bigger and the bathrooms and showers had been cleaned more frequently.
Mar 20, 2025 · Tami MassmanI reserved on their site a type of lot. One with a back view of the lake. When I got there they put us in the back with a shrug and said no site is guaranteed. That the web site just gives possibilities. Then why did I pay for a site with a lake view? Cause the only view I had was a train rolling by all night. This really disappointed us as the reservation was made months in advance. Ruined the entire trip! We have been coming here for the last 3 years. But buyer beware.1
May 01, 2025 · Mary DawnThis location is very convenient to Branson Landing. There's no security because it is part of the city park system, however, we did not encounter any issues. When we stayed, there was 5 days of steady rain with flood watch however, Cody stayed on top of the reports and let campers know if they needed to move to higher ground.
Apr 15, 2025 · Jody WilliamsWe stayed in the new part of the rv park. The spaces were nice, no shade at all, new patio with fire pit, very clean restrooms. Area is difficult to maneuver in with fifth wheel, turning into spaces needs more room to swing into the campsite.
Apr 20, 2025 · Jim HagerWe stayed a couple years ago. The site itself was not suitable when we arrived. The host was able to get us into another site which was lucky. The place was full. The 1st site was far too small for the 40' we booked in. The new site was off of the passing road. Which made backing in easy when traffic wasn't coming. The site was also extra long.We found our stay to be somewhat noisy with the road on one side and the bridge above. Also the place being full and very active. Not a great spot for young families.Great place if you have a boat. The marina is right there. Short walk into town. Trolleys were running when we were there.
