Based on recent customer feedback, it's important for potential visitors to have a comprehensive understanding of what to expect at Breezy Oaks RV Park. Several reviews highlight areas of concern, which should be taken into consideration when making your decision.
Some guests have reported issues with pricing, describing it as "overpriced." Additionally, complaints have been made regarding unpleasant odors, specifically mentioning a "sewer smell" and "liquid manure." The newer section of the park has been noted for a lack of trees, which could impact shade and overall ambiance. Furthermore, there have been reports of frequent water breaks and unsatisfactory cable service. The monthly rates, coupled with a separate charge for electricity, have also been described as costly by some visitors.
Other points of feedback include concerns about the number of dogs in the park, a lack of adequate parking during events, and dissatisfaction with event planning. The entertainment options have been described as limited, with one reviewer stating "No entaintment / Modern to date" and another mentioning "Bingo no thank you." The laundry facilities, with only four washers and dryers, were noted as insufficient for the size of the park, despite being considered a positive aspect by one guest.
The location of Breezy Oaks RV Park in relation to the surrounding area has also received mixed reviews. While Bushnell offers basic amenities such as a Walmart and a Sonny's BBQ, some visitors feel the area lacks broader attractions. The proximity of the park to Interstate 75 has resulted in complaints about significant traffic noise. Moreover, the presence of a "massive INDUSTRIAL CHICKEN FARM/PLANT" directly across the highway has been associated with recurring unpleasant smells, particularly in the afternoons when the wind shifts. The nearby "HUGE PRISON COMPLEX" is also a factor some visitors have noted.
One reviewer explicitly stated that they "Will not give Florida RV Parks a good rating" and "Will not ever stay in Florida RV Parks," based on their experience at Breezy Oaks. This sentiment is further emphasized by the comment that "The pictures do not reflect what this Park really is," suggesting a potential discrepancy between marketing materials and the actual conditions of the park. A specific incident of the pool being closed on a very hot day was also mentioned as a negative experience.
Despite these criticisms, one review offered a more balanced perspective. This guest acknowledged the "pleasant, polite and accommodating" staff who assisted with their last-minute booking. While they noted the somewhat isolated location, they appreciated its accessibility for day trips to attractions like Weeki Wachee Springs, Crystal River, Disney, Cedar Key, and Brooksville. The inclusion of "decent cable internet service through router modem loaner" was also mentioned as a positive. However, this reviewer also corroborated the issue of "rippin road noise" and the "daily stench sessions" from the nearby chicken farm. They also found the policy of significantly increasing the daily rate for extending their stay beyond a month to be "absurd" and a "silly business killing policy."
In conclusion, while Breezy Oaks RV Park offers essential amenities and a seemingly helpful staff, potential visitors should be aware of the concerns raised in recent reviews. These include issues related to pricing, unpleasant odors, lack of trees in newer sections, water disruptions, poor cable service, traffic noise, and limited on-site entertainment. The location, while allowing for day trips to regional attractions, is also near industrial facilities that may impact the overall experience. It is recommended that prospective guests weigh these factors carefully and consider recent feedback alongside any promotional materials when making their decision about staying at Breezy Oaks RV Park.

Mar 12, 2025 · daniel colemanStaff was very pleasant, polite and accommodating in arranging our stay, which was ill advisedly planned last minute leaving very limited reasonably priced options for monthly RV sites in FL. Location is pretty much middle of nowhere, but did allow longer day trips to Weeki Wachee Springs/Springhill, Crystal River, Disney, Cedar Key, Brooksville, etc.. Site included decent cable internet service through router modem loaner. Note that, at least in our section, there was rippin road noise, and check google map - there is a massive INDUSTRIAL CHICKEN FARM/PLANT directly across the I-75 and we had daily stench sessions in the later hot muggy afternoons when breeze shifted from the West (the breeze in the park name has a flavour) so we adjusted daily routines accordingly. Note also the HUGE PRISON COMPLEX in the same area. We stayed a month and actually inquired into potentially extending for a week or two, and assumed at the same rate, just prorated by the week… but was informed that no, despite it being end of season (no demand), you have to pay the cranked gouging doubled daily rate for any additional weeks… Absurd! Had just stayed a month, and you get punitive rates if you want to stay with them longer …..left a bad taste - no way to encourage a return next season… So we moved on and found significantly better daily rates in a better area… They need to revise that silly business killing policy..
Mar 19, 2025 · RegoryblesThis park must have been a lot nicer in the day. We would be lucky at this point to go a full day without water being shut off. They are doing a bunch of construction right now. Super loud everyday. I understand the construction but you should let people know it won't be an enjoyable stay. This is one of the most annoying places I've ever stayed at. It's pretty expensive compared to other places that I actually enjoyed. Absolutely no shade except for small tree line. Good luck to everyone. Happy findings
Jul 24, 2024 · Ashley DeckerStaying there again this year. We Spent two months there last year. The staff are wonderful
Jan 16, 2025 · William AbramoAfter a day in Ft Meyers getting repairs to our coach, we were late trying to make reservations for the evening. We were thrilled to be able to get off the road and put down the jacks! We were able to level the class A coach on the first try without using blocks of any kind. Since we are self contained, the only thing we used is electric. We got here late enough that we really did not explore the facilities or the area surrounding.
