Battle Creek RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Bushnell, Florida area, Battle Creek RV Park, located at 6428 W C 48, Bushnell, FL 33513, USA, presents itself as a potentially appealing option for those seeking a quieter, more natural setting. You can contact them at (352) 405-5525 or +1 352-405-5525 for inquiries. Based on the available customer reviews, Battle Creek RV Park offers a unique environment and a favorable monthly rate, although some concerns regarding pet policies have been raised. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the park based on these reviews, allowing prospective visitors to make an informed decision when considering "RV parks near me."
One reviewer describes Battle Creek RV Park as a "quaint small park with a natural setting." This suggests that the park is not overly large or developed, offering a more intimate and perhaps rustic camping experience. The emphasis on a "natural setting" implies that the park may feature more trees, greenery, and a less manicured landscape compared to some larger, more amenity-filled RV resorts. For those who appreciate a more secluded and nature-oriented environment when looking for "RV parks near me," Battle Creek RV Park could be an attractive choice. The same reviewer also mentions a "great price monthly," indicating that the park may offer competitive rates for longer stays, which is a significant advantage for budget-conscious travelers or those planning an extended visit to the area.
The location of Battle Creek RV Park is described as "a bit off the beaten path." This could be both a pro and a con, depending on individual preferences. For those seeking peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of more tourist-heavy areas, this off-the-beaten-path location could be ideal. It suggests a more tranquil environment, potentially with less traffic and noise. However, it also implies that the park might be less conveniently located in terms of immediate access to major highways, shopping centers, or other urban amenities. Travelers considering Battle Creek RV Park should assess their need for proximity to such conveniences versus their desire for a quieter, more secluded setting.
Another reviewer refers to Battle Creek RV Park as "a quiet, mother nature park," reinforcing the earlier description of a natural and peaceful environment. This further suggests that the park's appeal lies in its serene atmosphere and connection with nature, making it a potentially excellent choice for those looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The reviewer also states that it is "nice to live and to camp" there, indicating a positive overall experience with the park itself over a period of six years.
A significant portion of the second review focuses on the park's pet policy. The reviewer mentions that the park is "Animal friendly," which is a notable feature for RV travelers who often bring their pets along. However, they also express concern about the enforcement of pet rules, specifically regarding lying to get certain breeds or more than the allowed number of dogs into the park. The stated rules, according to the reviewer, include "no certain breeds, under 30lbs, no aggressive behaviors and only 2 dogs" per site, with a strict requirement that pets be "Leased at ALL TIMES." The reviewer, who has lived there for six years without problems, expresses concern that "new owner aren't screening the animals" adequately, leading to issues such as their own dog being attacked and injured.
This feedback highlights a critical aspect for potential visitors with pets. While Battle Creek RV Park is described as animal-friendly, it is essential for pet owners to be aware of and strictly adhere to the park's pet policies. The concerns raised about inconsistent enforcement and potential risks due to non-compliance are important to consider. Prospective guests with pets should inquire about the current pet policies and the measures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals and residents. The reviewer's plea to "please look at the pet rules for our quiet nice neighborhood and good quality living for both animal and people" underscores the importance of responsible pet ownership and consistent enforcement of park rules in maintaining a positive community environment.
In terms of services and features beyond the natural setting and pet-friendliness, the reviews provide limited information. The mention of a "great price monthly" suggests that basic amenities for RVs are likely provided, such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer. However, the specific details of these services, as well as the availability of other common RV park amenities like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas, are not mentioned. Given the description of a "quaint small park," it is possible that the amenities are more basic compared to larger, more resort-style RV parks. Travelers should inquire about the specific services and features offered at Battle Creek RV Park to ensure they meet their needs.
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. The "great price monthly" can be considered an attractive feature, but specific rates or discounts for short-term stays are not discussed. Individuals interested in the cost of staying at Battle Creek RV Park should contact them directly for current pricing and any available promotions, especially considering the positive mention of affordability for monthly stays.
In conclusion, Battle Creek RV Park in Bushnell, Florida, offers a "quaint small park" experience with a "natural setting" that appeals to those seeking a quieter, more secluded environment among "RV parks near me." It is described as animal-friendly and offers a "great price monthly," making it potentially attractive for longer stays. However, prospective visitors, especially those with pets, should be aware of the park's pet policies and the concerns raised about their consistent enforcement. It is recommended to contact Battle Creek RV Park directly at (352) 405-5525 or +1 352-405-5525 to inquire about specific amenities, pet policies, and current rates to determine if this natural and affordable option aligns with your needs and preferences when exploring "RV parks near me" in the Bushnell area.

Battle Creek RV Park Reviews
So far so good. Quaint small park with a natural setting. Great price monthly. A bit off the beaten path. Suits me great.
Dec 25, 2024 · Rod WilsonThis is a quiet, mother nature park. It is nice to live and to camp. Animal friendly, but please stop lying to get your dogs in here. My dog was just attacked yesterday and now is injured. As am I. No certain breeds, under 30lbs, no aggressive behaviors and only 2 dogs. Leased at ALL TIMES. !!!!PERIOD. Lived e here 6yrs no problems. Now new owner aren't screening the animals. Please look at the pet rules for our quiet nice neighborhood and good quality living for both animal and people
Jan 16, 2024 · Jeri BodingtonNot a place I would live or visit. I was looking into this place for my parents. I took the time to talk to residents. They have water issues where the water just stops for unknown reasons. They have sewage issues which I could smell with the septic tank over flowing and raw human waste leaking and visable on the ground. The lease agreement has no dog over 30 lbs and names specific breeds that are not allowed but I witnessed at least three dogs over 30 lbs including a masiff type a pitbull and a German shepard all dogs that are not allowed and being pulled around by their owners who obviously can't control their dogs. Some of the residents even witnessed the pitbull attacked one of the other dogs in the park knocking over the owner and nothing was done. The residents are afraid to speak out because they are afraid of retaliation from the park manager who is an old angery man who drives around in a scooter taking revenge on the residents who upset him. Never met the owner. I wonder if he even knows what is going on in his park. BEWARE!

May 02, 2025 · Russell Wagner (Luvmusclerussell)We booked and paid for a space in November 2022. We called to add a night, a week prior to our arrival of 2/5/23 and were told they had no space. I informed them they had taken our $$ and confirmed a site, but was advised that they had recently changed ownership and the online reservation was not going to be honored. The refund was promptly made and the gentlemen I spoke to were courteous and empathetic
