Brighton RV Resort Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Okeechobee, Florida area, Brighton RV Resort, located at 14685 Reservation Rd NE, Okeechobee, FL 34974, USA, presents itself as a potentially clean and relaxing destination with ongoing improvements. Based on recent customer reviews, this resort offers a blend of tranquility and essential amenities for a comfortable stay. Let's delve into the details of its environment, services, and features.
One reviewer who stayed at Brighton RV Resort on site 313 for four nights described the campground as "very nice and clean." This positive initial impression extends to the facilities, with the reviewer noting that the bathhouses are "clean and updated." The campsites themselves are reported to be "concrete and level," which are desirable features for RVers seeking stable and easy setup. The presence of a "very nice camp store" suggests convenience for purchasing essentials and souvenirs. Recreational amenities mentioned include a pool and a pond, offering opportunities for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. While the reviewer noted that there isn't "much to do in the area," they emphasized the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the resort itself and indicated a willingness to return, highlighting its appeal as a peaceful getaway.
Another reviewer, identifying themselves as Tom & Pam F., who appear to be longer-term guests ("our winter home"), also provides valuable insights into Brighton RV Resort. They highlight a significant positive change they have observed: the impact of the "new maintenance Person." According to this review, this individual has made a "huge difference in the park" by consistently improving and maintaining the grounds. They commend the maintenance person for being pleasant and for making more progress in a short time than had been seen in previous years. This suggests that the resort is actively working on enhancing its physical environment and infrastructure.
Despite the positive feedback regarding cleanliness and maintenance improvements, Tom & Pam F. offer a four-star rating with a specific area for improvement: the laundry room. They state that the laundry room "needs serious attention" and that all the machines need to be replaced with "New" ones. They express dissatisfaction with past replacements that involved "reconditioned machines made to look like new," implying issues with the reliability or performance of these machines. The reviewers point out that the laundry machines experience "very heavy use" and are "abused by many who come from outside the park," suggesting a need for robust and reliable new equipment to handle the demand. Despite this concern about the laundry facilities, Tom & Pam F. conclude that "by and large Brighton RV Park is a nice place to be during the winter months."

In conclusion, Brighton RV Resort in Okeechobee, FL, appears to be a clean and relaxing RV park with ongoing efforts to improve its grounds. Guests can expect level concrete sites, updated bathhouses, a camp store, a pool, and a pond. The quiet atmosphere makes it suitable for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Brighton RV Resort Reviews
We stayed at Brighton on site 313 for 4 nights. The campground is very nice and clean. The bathhouses are clean and updated. The sites are concrete and level. There is a very nice camp store and a pool and a pond. We enjoyed our time there. Hit the casino one evening. Played for about 2 or 3 hours. Left a loser but had fun. Not much to do in the area but we’d definitely return. Very quiet and relaxing.
Feb 18, 2023 · Jolynn HavenOne of the most noticeable changes we have seen here at Brighton RV is that the new maintenance Person has made a huge difference in the park. Not only is he pleasant to be around, he’s constantly improving and maintaining the grounds. By far he has made more progress in the short time he’s been here than anyone has in the past several years combined. The reason I only gave four stars is the laundry room needs serious attention and all of the machines need to be replaced with “New”. Not just reconditioned machines made to look like new, like was done before. These machines have very heavy use and are abused by many who come from outside the park. By and large Brighton RV Park is a nice place to be during the winter months “our winter home “. Tom & Pam F.
