Camelot South Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" with a focus on longer-term residential options, Camelot South, located at 3402 OH-109 in Delta, Ohio, primarily operates as a mobile home park but may also accommodate RV living. When considering a mobile home park for long-term RV residency, it's crucial to evaluate the environment, services, and management based on available feedback. The limited reviews for Camelot South present a starkly contrasting view, highlighting both potential positive aspects of the location and significant concerns regarding management and upkeep, which prospective residents should carefully consider.
The environment of Camelot South appears to have some appealing aspects, according to one resident's perspective. It is described as a "nice scenic little country mobile home park," suggesting a location that offers a more rural and visually pleasant setting. Proximity to the countryside can be attractive to those who appreciate a quieter atmosphere and natural surroundings. This positive viewpoint suggests that the physical location of Camelot South might be a draw for individuals seeking a more tranquil living environment away from the bustle of urban areas. However, it's important to note that this is only one perspective, and the other review paints a less favorable picture of the overall living experience, particularly concerning the management and upkeep of the park.
The services and features of Camelot South, based on the limited and conflicting reviews, present significant concerns. One reviewer explicitly warns potential residents not to move there, citing issues with frequent rent increases ("They keep upping the rent") coupled with a lack of maintenance ("nothing is being fixed"). This combination of rising costs and deteriorating conditions can significantly impact the affordability and quality of life for long-term residents, including those in RVs. Furthermore, the same negative review alleges serious issues with the management, stating that "managers... harass you and threaten to put their hands on tenants." Such allegations of harassment and threats are extremely serious and would be a major deterrent for any prospective resident. The review also mentions a discriminatory policy against individuals with felonies ("the owner don’t want you there so don’t apply"). Additionally, it notes the absence of common amenities like a playground or pool ("They do not have a playground or pool"). The reviewer concludes by describing the place as "100% a joke and runner down." This strongly negative feedback paints a concerning picture of the services and overall management of Camelot South. While the other review mentions a "nice" setting, it does not comment on the management or amenities. Prospective residents must weigh these contrasting views and seek further information to understand the current state of services and management at Camelot South.
The features of Camelot South that can be gleaned from the limited reviews are quite contrasting. The "nice scenic little country" location is presented as a potential positive feature for those who value a rural setting. However, the alleged frequent rent increases without corresponding improvements or maintenance is a significant negative feature that impacts affordability and quality of life. The extremely serious allegations of manager harassment and threats against tenants are a major concern and would be a critical factor for any prospective resident to consider. The reported discriminatory policy regarding individuals with felonies could also limit who is eligible to live in the park. The absence of common recreational amenities like a playground or pool might be a drawback for families or those seeking community facilities. The overall description of the park as "runner down" suggests a lack of investment in maintaining and improving the property. For individuals considering long-term RV living, these features, particularly the negative ones related to management and upkeep, would need to be carefully evaluated alongside the potential appeal of the country setting. It is crucial to gather more comprehensive and recent information to form an objective understanding of the current features and living conditions at Camelot South.
As the provided information consists of only two brief and starkly contrasting resident reviews and the park's contact details, there is no specific promotional information available for Camelot South. Mobile home parks, especially those with reported issues, typically do not engage in active promotional campaigns. For individuals interested in learning about the possibility of long-term RV residency at Camelot South, it is essential to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (419) 309-0873 or the mobile number +1 419-309-0873. When calling, prospective residents should inquire about the availability of RV lots, the monthly rates, lease terms, utility costs, the park's policies on rent increases and maintenance, and how management addresses resident concerns. Given the serious allegations of harassment and discriminatory policies, it would be prudent to ask specific questions related to these issues and seek assurances about the safety and fair treatment of all residents. Due to the highly conflicting nature of the reviews, a personal visit to the park to assess its current condition and, if possible, speak with current residents would be strongly recommended before making any decisions about long-term residency.
For local users in Delta, Ohio, and the surrounding areas who are searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term living and come across Camelot South, the reviews present a significant cautionary tale. While the description of a "nice scenic little country" setting might be initially appealing, the serious allegations of frequent rent increases, lack of maintenance, manager harassment and threats, and discriminatory policies are major red flags. Prospective residents must exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Camelot South as a long-term living option. Contacting the management directly to address these concerns and seeking firsthand accounts from current residents are crucial steps. A personal visit to the park to assess the environment and the overall atmosphere is also strongly recommended. Given the severity of the negative feedback, individuals seeking a stable and positive long-term living situation may want to explore other "RV parks near me" with more consistently positive reviews.
In conclusion, Camelot South in Delta, OH, presents a highly uncertain prospect for those seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term residency. While the location may offer a scenic country setting, serious concerns have been raised regarding frequent rent increases, lack of maintenance, alleged manager harassment and threats, and discriminatory policies. Prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough research by contacting the management directly and visiting the park, and seek firsthand accounts from current residents before considering Camelot South as a long-term living option. The significant negative feedback warrants careful consideration and comparison with other available "RV parks near me" to ensure a safe, stable, and positive living experience.

Camelot South Reviews
Seems like a nice place to live, I've known a couple of people that lived out there. You take the good and the bad with every place however this is a nice scenic little country mobile home park
Jan 29, 2017 · Steven MathersIf you want to live here don’t! They keep upping the rent and nothing is being fixed, then you have managers that harass you and threaten to put their hands on tenants. Along with if you have felonies the owner don’t want you there so don’t apply. They do not have a playground or pool. This place is 100% a joke and runner down.
Apr 28, 2024 · Alyssa SmithThe owners refuse to pay for anything that needs fixed PROPERLY. They would rather save a penny than provide a proper place for their tenants. I wonder what the EPA would say about not having the proper people taking care of their treatment plant. The owners let the tenants threaten the on site manager on a daily basis. Do not live here! The tenants blame the on site manager for their bills not getting paid. The people think they can live there for free and do what ever they want and the owners let them! I wouldnt let my child wander around this park. Too many sketchy people not to mention there was a pot garden growing and the owners did nothing!! Run!
Apr 20, 2023 · Arianna JohnsonWatch out for fake evictions. The manager loves to scare people into thinking that they’re going to be homeless. She never really follows through with taking them to court. Nor is anything she does legal Instead of arguing with her and Dealing with her, trying to illegally kick me out of my property I found another home. But just be cautious lots of love ❤️
Aug 22, 2024 · Sandy GreenSo glad to finally be gone from there! The place is a dump , outrageous water bills , they let just anyone move in there! Not a safe place for a family! Has gone completely down hill. It is advertised that there is a pool , I was there 20yrs , never was there a pool. The lot rent is outrageous.
